I'm travelling to Vancouver in a couple of weeks. One of the things I found on my last visit was the brand, Cake. I bought one of their dry shampoo powders. I'm curious to know what brands/products that will be new to me I should take a serious look at? Perhaps some holiday gift sets as well?
HiHi. I am recently intrigued by the various "skins" on the clarisonic systems, especially the mia2. I noticed that some can only be purchased by a specific retailer and my favorite one has to be from QVC. If you ladies have a clarisonic whether a regular colored or one with a different skin please show me!! BTW here is mine love you~
I was wondering if there is a way to distinguish between skin care products that are very gentle verses ones that could be too harsh besides just the word "sensitive" on the bottle. Thanks! P.S. Are you guys able to access Beauty Talk through the Sephora app on your phone or do you have to go through Safari?

I bought the simplehuman sensor mirror and I wonder if it is DEFECTIVE because it does not stay charged for five weeks as the reviews say. I charged the first time less than 7h as the green light no longer blinking. do you think the problem is there?
I have started to use the Clarisonic daily using the deep pore brush. It is doing wonders for my skin. However, until I switch from the sensitive brush I was only able to use the Clarisonic on a weekly basis. I thought my skin was too sensitive to take the daily use. Curious to see how many ladies use it daily and what brush they have choose to go with.
So I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to makeup removers. I've tried both Sephora's regular and waterproof solutions, as well as Philosophy and the brands available at the drugstore/Target. If anyone is willing to suggest a remover that I should try next, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! PS: I typically do not wear waterproof eye makeup so it won't be a deal breaker if the solution isn't ideal for waterproof products.
Of course not everything can be reused and we tend to keep it because we love the way it looks. But there's things like creams, or other bottles you can easily refill that we can put something in. For example, I love the little Benefit skin care packaging. I kept the Benefit Moisturizing cream jar for the longest time, the other day I bought a moisturizing gel from clean and clear that smells divine and today I got the idea of squeezing that one out of the tube and into my benefit jar. In a way, you get the sense that you actually rebought this item without much of the cost and stuff, filling that need to want to go buy more high end products. This is a tactic that I'm using to fill my impulse to want to buy a lot of high end things (especially after this sale event we just passed!) Have you guys ever done something like this? If so, with what? And now that I look at it, this clean and clear gel could totally pass for a benefit product! lol
I recently switched over to NARS foundation and concealer. In the store I was matched to the NARS Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc and the Radiant Concealer in Vanilla. The foundation matches perfectly, but I'm still on the fence about the concealer after wearing it a few times. The Vanilla shade seems like it might be a little too light, and I'm not sure what other shade I should try instead. I also have very dark circles, so that might be part of the problem since maybe I just tried to layer on too much of the concealer. I kind of want to try the shade Honey since it has a peach tone in it that might cover up my circles better, but I don't want it to be too dark since the product description says it can work on light to medium complexions and I am very fair. Has anyone tried both the Vanilla and Honey shade and can share their experience? Thank you!
Curious out there, because I'm sure this has happened to a couple people. Items that are raved about so much, but when you tried it you were disappointed. Here's my story, Having the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist in my loves for awhile now and going in store and trying it... I CAN'T stand the scent at all! It was such a sad moment, because I anticipated to try it for such a long time!
Hi I bought the Mia. I plugged it in to charge it and the light flashes for a minute then it stops. If I remove the charger and put it back then it flashes again. I had thought it was supposed to flash as it charges. is this how it's supposed to work? also it's very noisy when i hit power, is that normal too.. thanks!
Hello I'm just wondering would the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea cleanser work on the Mia 2? I'm a big fan of the cleanser but does it work on the device? Can you just pump a pump of this foaming cleanser onto the brush? Or does it have to be a liquid cleanser like the Philosophy Purity cleanser in order to work on a Clarisonic? Thank you!
If anyone remembers my post a while ago, "Shoppers Drug Mart '30 days of Beauty' potential winner pop-up" then here's an update for you! They actually came through and I legit won something! It was full size. Absolutely free. Wooo!
is the polyglyceral diisostearate ingredient in the Sephora's sun kissed bronzer blusher made from plant source? Please oh please find this out for me. I could not use your product if theres any animal source ingredient in it except for bees.
1) this past summer I had the girls a Sephora do my make up. I ended up buying the foundation. It was Yves Saint Laurent, B40. I like this foundation and I'd like to buy it again but It is sold out and only the pink 40 is available. I look great in cool colors and wonder if I can just order the pink. How close are they in lightness/darkness and color? I live very far from a sephora so can't go in and test. My other question is: when I bought that foundation the checkout clerk entered the other products that I'd purchased into the computer so I therefore got the points. Unfortunatly I didnt notice that she omitted the foundation, until now. So... I missed out on $60 worth of points. While I dont have the receipt (I dont think) I do have my Visa bill. Can I get the points somehow? Thanks
A few days ago I had an empty shopping list and I really wasn't planning a huge haul for the sale. Now, thanks to all of the posts dedicated to things you makeup and skincare lovers want to try or replenish, my list is ridiculously huge again. Today I realized that the SimpleHuman mirror that I've been debating for months is sold here at Sephora. I had no idea. I also had no idea that there were TWO different versions with two different magnifications. So my question (problem) is this-- Do I want them both? They sort of target different things. Would it be absurd to have both on my vanity? Has anyone else pondered choosing between them? Does anyone else own and use both? Thoughts? HELP
Ladies and gents-- what are some brands, or even specific products, you wish Sephora would carry? Mine are: Cle de Peau Tom Ford Beauty Armani Beauty Diptyque Byredo Charlotte Tilbury Chanel (more than fragrances) Oribe Pai
I am about to subscribe to BoxyCharm and the email says I can do monthly at $21 or yearly at $231 which gives you a free month and 2000 charms. So my question is really about these charms. I read you can redeem them for full size products but Im trying to gauge their worth. If 2000 charms doesnt get you much then Im thinking the monthly subscription is better because you can cancel at any time. Any thoughts on which is the better way to subscribe?
The price isn't horrible (runs about the price of Shiseido), I was wondering if any of you ladies took the leap and tried out their new line... Feedback? http://www.sephora.com/search/search.jsp?keyword=n ars&node=1050055
I just got hired in a hospital where it is a fragrance free environment so I need some suggestions for scent free products that you guys know of. I'm mostly looking for shampoo/conditioners, hairspray, and hand lotion.
I use Tweezerman tweezers, I buy at Bed, bath and Beyond with a coupon. I find myself having to buy a new pair every couple years as they don't seem to pull as precisely as they used to. Anyone use an awesome pair of tweezers that grab and pull on the first try? I'm talking on like the first inclination of a hair sprouting? I'm open to all price points.
I know some of us are waiting for the big sale before we start purchasing holiday sets but I also know some of us have already purchased a few. Which holiday sets have you guys already purchased this year and what are your thoughts on them? So far the only thing I've gotten is the Tarte Chic to Cheek blush set. I am completely obsessed with the four mini blushes and really just needed some new blush in my life. The shades in the set are exactly the types of blushes I gravitate towards and I just couldn't resist.
Anyone here uses Perricone MD Chloro Plasma? I think I'm really loving it, but I'm not sure if it's the hype or if it's really working. The good thing is it's available in .5oz so I can give it a good go without splurging for the full size *cough* white glamglow *cough*...... ....speaking of which, I've also heard some ppl have problem of the GlamGlow harden before they were able to finish it, eventho you supposedly can just add water to it.....anyone had that problem?
I'm looking for a good, self-tanner that's long lasting and natural looking. I've tried St. Tropez, Tarte and Fake Bake. While I do like them all, I found a problem that they'd all turn the back of my hands almost orange looking. Am I doing something wrong or just not using the right product?
