I was wondering if a mod could please help me When will the Nars Ita brush #21 come back in stock? I've been wanting this brush for a while now and I'd prefer to purchase it from Sephora. I talked with Nordstrom's and they aren't planning on carrying it anymore ( muuuwahhhh I'm not sure if NARS is discontinuing this brush… Seems unlikely as it's really popular.
Hi friends, I've decided to take the plunge and purchase some of these beauties. Anyways, I'm fair skinned (please note- pale as a ghost), with freckles (not sure if that matters?) red hair and brown eyes. Which ones would work best for me? Thanks all!
Tons of ELF gift sets at Big Lots today. Super cheap to begin with and on top of that they were discounted. Good stocking stuffers for those that like ELF. The large sets at the bottom were $10 and on sale for $7.75.
This should be fun! I thought why don't we fill in the blanks of what we are primarily using right now. It would be fun to see the variety of answers! Foundation: Concealer: Eyeliner: Eyeshadow: Powder: Blush: Bronzer: Lipstick: Lipgloss: Mascara: Brows:
I've compiled a list of gluten-free beauty products available on sephora.com.
Gluten: Gluten is a protein derived from wheat and related grains, including barley and rye. There are some cosmetics products labeled as gluten-free. If you are interested in these products look for statements like “gluten-free” or “no gluten” on the product package label. Because of periodic changes in product ingredient formulations and sources, for the most up-to-date information we recommend contacting brands directly regarding gluten-free status of their products.

Smashbox has advised that the following products do contain gluten; the rest of their line (with the exception of seasonal items such as palettes and limited edition products) are gluten-free.
Smashbox items which contain gluten:
Bionic Mascara (Jet Black), Layer Lash Primer, Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder (all shades), Doubletake Lip Color (Praline, Sugar Spice, Cranberry), Lip Treatment SPF 15
We cannot claim that any of our products are gluten free. Some of our products contain ingredients/source of gluten [wheat germ oil, vit E etc]. As all our products are produced by the same production line and although a very strict cleansing procedure is followed after every production, we have not the possibility to check our products for traces of eventually allergical ingredients in low-value (high-ratio) proportions [parts-per-million (ppm)]. Thus we cannot claim for our products that are gluten free.
Products which do not contain gluten as an ingredient-

As an additional precaution, you should start reading the fine print on labels.

P.S. I'll be modifying this list as items are constantly being added and taken off our website. Feel free to add othe items I may have missed. This is still a work in progress.
I went to my local Sephora today and saw a bunch of NEW Sephora Favorites sets! Well at least, I believe they're new. I've only been a Sephora addict for a few months now. They are an essential oils set (face oil, hair oil, cleansing oil, body oil), set of 5 Sephora brand eyeliners, a new Favorites set, and a set of "glow" products like bronzers and High Beam. What new sets have you spotted recently and which are catching your eye?
I have this same problem with the Naked 2... I feel like all of the colors just get really muddy when you try to use them together. Anyone feel the same and/or have any suggestions? It's so much money that I feel like if I really don't love it, I'm just going to return it.
I was wondering what other people use to wash their pretty faces (besides Clarisonic). For a few years now, I use rolled cotton from the drug store for removing face masks. I just got turned onto muslin cloths as they feel slightly more exfoliating and not as messy (for cream cleansers). I'm scared of using cotton wash cloths on my face because of laundry detergent (even though I use a natural detergent) - maybe I'm paranoid. So what works for you?
As a student seeking to pursue art as a major and a makeup junkie, I've come to share with you how I mix the best of both worlds. First up; THE NIJI ROLL! I use this to carry my paint brushes and color pencils around, so I figured it would work very well as a makeup brush carrier too! Sadly, the slots are a bit small for kabuki brushes though I think I'll use this to also carry my mascaras, eyeliners, lip liners, and anything else narrow or pencil like. Now I've also seen this hype on the beauty blender hard brush cleaner. The first time I saw that I thought it was just an overpriced version of The Master's Brush Cleaner. I love it. It can somehow strip the oil off of a paintbrush when turpentine could not, yet still condition the brush. If you need to reshape your brush, you can keep the soap in your brush, let it dry the way you wanted it to be shaped, and wash it again after a day or two. And those blockbuster carrier cases that cost almost 200$? I swear to god this works almost exactly the same way. Or any carrier case actually. I'm pretty sure you can use art brushes as makeup brushes as well; some of them are very soft and durable. They're not cheap, but at least they don't cost 20$ a brush. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going to go find an angled shader and liner brush for eyelining and a small sablette for the lips. Of course these wouldn't be the prettiest things in your vanity, but they're great if you want to save a dollar to spend more on actual makeup. These are all I can think of for now. I'll post more when I get other flashes of inspiration.
the past two years I've been using CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Intense For Very Dry To Dry Combination Skin however it's ingredients on sephora do show what it's formulated with out like harmful chemicals. I'm slowly doing research. It just so much haha>.<. Clinique has been the only moisturizer that does not break me out but I'm still a little ify on its chemicals. can anyone enlighten me(: or have suggestions? And great moisturiser? I'm on empty and wad going to pick up another moisture surge.
Hey, I was wondering if anyone has tried this kit and has some feedback about it. I have only tried a sample lipstick from KVD before, so I don't know much about her products. I really love the palette. Do the purples come out pigmented? Are the other products good?
Today I was thinking about products I had never heard of, or didn't expect to find, and then loved. Recently I went by Victoria's Secret (which I don't usually shop for a whole list of reasons), because I had a $10 promo gift card with no minimum purchase... so I figured, free stocking stuffer. But of course I got something for MYSELF haha! I am picky about beauty (and other) products, and normally only use high-end, stuff I've tested, and stuff that's highly recommended. I honestly don't even have any drugstore products in my house, I'm that picky. But I tried their Lip Primer on a whim and I LOVE IT. It's $12, so a reasonable price. It has this velvety not quite matte finish that makes my chapped or irritated lips look smooth and soft with soft edges. I was totally shocked by this sleeper that I have never heard of! It also has the slightest light peachy tint, so it looks great blurred outside my lip line as a smoother and soft of highlighter. It's also not too squishy and not TOO stiff and waxy. I like lip primer on the slightly waxy side. Do you have a favorite find that you weren't expecting, never heard of, or was kind of obscure or surprising? EDIT: In doing a search for this post I found out this product is being discontinued! So sad. I am going to pick another one up this week if they still have them, as a back up. Seriously, this is so sad for me I rarely find a product I love!
I neeeeeed this. It is 12/4 and X-mas is right around the corner. Why haven't they released the new set yet? Does anyone know when it will come out? A few weeks ago, someone on here posted a pic from instagram of the new set and it looked amazing! These make perfect gifts so I don't understand where it is. Last year I gave one to my mom and she LOVED it. Can a mod please share? Thank you!
Hello all! I am doing a secret Santa at school with a bunch of friends and I am trying to figure out what to get. We are juniors in high school and I know the girl I have wears makeup often. Any ideas? Looking to spend less than $25. Only thing I could find was this Too Faced palette. What do you think? http://www.sephora.com/jingle-all-the-way-P383427
I've received a lot of questions regarding Animal Testing and decided to start a thread for everyone to participate in. Since we carry over 200 other brands the ones I've listed below have confirmed that they do not test on animals. My research is still a work in progress for brands not listed so if any of you know of brands that do not animal test and isn't listed feel free to add to this thread. I'd appreciate your help with this project!
Our private label Sephora Collection and Sephora Originals (Hello Kitty, Kat Von D, Sephora by OPI, and Pantone) are cruelty free (meaning that the products have never been tested on animals).

I was wondering if this is going to be available for purchase in Sephora (Canada) at all! I've been seeing this product available for some time now and I wonder if Sephora is ever going to have it available?
