AHAVA?
Has anyone else ever heard of AHAVA?  I love their stuff and it's all really, really good fro you as they use loads of ingrediants that come straight from the Dead Sea.  I would absolutely LOVE if Sephora stocked some of their products, because they're a bit hard to find where I am, but I'm very near a Sephora and I think AHAVA's collection would fit in perfectly with Sephora's stuff.  Anyone else second this?

Tarte sold out to a company that tests on animals...
This is their Facebook status:    To all of our tartelettes: As you may have heard, tarte has recently been acquired by Japanese company KOSÉ. It’s truly been an amazing ride, from the little venture Maureen Kelly started in her bedroom 15 years ago to the global powerhouse we’re privileged to join. Our vision has always been to create beauty products that are ‘healthy treats for your skin,’ foster the highest level of customer service and give back to the community and the environment. By joining the KOSÉ family and adding to that rich portfolio, we can build on what we’ve already accomplished with powerful products and explore expanding the tarte brand in new and exciting countries. And rest assured, we are committed to remaining a cruelty-free brand and will not test on animals. Maureen will stay on as the CEO and looks forward to continuing a lasting relationship with our tartelettes. xo, the tarte team!   While they claim they will remain cruelty free the new parent company KOSÉ DOES test on animals.  So extremely disappointing that Maureen decided to become a big sellout like so many other brands that start out with good intentions but cave into the money. No ethics after all I guess.    I can't post outside links but go ahead and google "KOSÉ animal testing" and see for yourself.

Night Cream Ingredient(s) Question
Are these good ingredients for a Night Cream for Dry & can be Sensitive Skin? -Seaweed Night Cream (Mario B.) : Deionized Water, Bladderwrack Extract, Polyglycerylmethacrylate, Stearic Acid, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Propylparaben, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Benzoic Acid, Imidazolidinyl Urea   * I was gonna buy the toner from this line (Mario / Seaweed) but didn't b/c I wasn't familiar w/ the Bladderwrack. Bet I'm missing out but I'm not familiar w/ the brand in general! I did see that it has urea in it as well & that is supposed to be a plus, right!    Thanks In Advance for your help! BTW, I use the NUDE SKIN sleeping mask but not every night & was wanting something for in between. I was using Clinique's Turn Around night cream but have been out for a/b a month + & wanted to maybe try this (It got good ratings & sounds awesome).

Cleansing Water for Dummies
I posted a thread about removing my makeup/washing face with dry skin a while back. A lot of folks recommended cleansing water. Also, many threads recommend cleansing water, especially Koh Gen Doh.   So I finally placed an order for cleansing water (Claudalie since I love everything I try by them) and got it. I've used it a couple of times and do like how refreshing it feels but I have no clue if I'm using it the right way!   Currently, I come home and use a cotton round with the cleansing water and proceed to wipe my face with it. I don't use it for eye makeup if I wore eye makeup I use a separate eye makeup remover first (with a cotton ball) and then proceed with Claudalie Cleansing Water.   Am I supposed to rinse my face with regular water afterwards or is the wipeout by itself just fine? I will tell you that I've tried both and the time I rinsed with water afterwards, my face was so dry. The time I didn't, my face had a nice dewy glow. But I don't want to leave it on if it's not meant to be left on. HELP!!!

Foundation - Tarte Vs. Others
I love the matte look, something very long lasting and full coverage.   I live in DC, extreme weather, humidity and cold. I've heard the Tarte Amazonion 12 hour coverage is a must try. Is this worth all the hype? I've tried Urban Decay, both MAFU brands, as well as MAC and even drugstore Rimmel. How does Tarte compare? Any thoughts, ladies? <3

So as we all know, Sephora has not carried LORAC products for quite some time now. Does anyone know why this happened, and why they have not been brought back at any point? Check Your Bottles
just came across this post on Reddit in /r/tifu, original post by viva-c   "So one of my favorite makeup products is this makeup setting spray As you can see, the bottle is opaque. I use the product every day after I put on my makeup. I recently started running low and it wasn't spraying as good, so I took off the cap to look inside the bottle and see how much I had left. THERE WAS A SH*T TON OF MOLD GROWING INSIDE THE BOTTLE. I have been spraying mold on my face for an unknown amount of time but probably weeks. Your life can always be grosser than it currently is. If you didn't spray mold on your face today, be grateful."   edited for outside link and profanity.  May want to regularly check the inside of opaque bottles, especially this one if it wasn't end user error and was a batch issue.  YUCK!

Sephora vs. Ulta - The Verdict
I've been a VIB for a few years now, and my local Sephora is within walking distance of that "other" brand. I've heard rave reviews about their rewards program, most especially about their generous giving of free product with each new level reached and not samplers.   Today, I headed to my Sephora store for the VIB event, got my bag loaded up, and then...went to Ulta. I was actually there to get a tube of NYX lip gloss since I've heard so much about it, but I went through the whole store out of pure curiosity.   The verdict? While Ulta does carry drugstore brands and their rewards are pretty lofty in comparison...Sephora has my heart. Ulta felt too "superstore-ish". No offense, but a little...below...the standard and prestige of Sephora. So, Sephora, heed our call! Amp up our VIB rewards. Tidy up the shelves and demos in your stores (our store is a tad lacking in that dept.). And, keep up the great work! = )

Hi everyone! I've been dying to try the GlamGlow supermud clearing treatment for the longest time and yesterday I found it at Marshall's. Opinions and usage ideas for the Sephora Favorites Summerstash 2014?

What shade would I be in Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation? I am a Mac NW20!
What shade would I be in Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation? I am a Mac NW20 and am currently using Estée Lauder Stay In Place Double Wear Foundation in shade Fresco 2C3 (which is a touch too dark), I have pink undertones and blonde hair green eyes. I am trying to figure out my new shade after stopping spray tanning, which I have been fake baking for 8 years. The ELDW shade is what I was using when my tan had faded, just before having to do another application, so my skin tone is a touch lighter than the shade listed (Fresco 2C3). I went on Laura Mercier web site and scrolled through the shade recommendations trying to find recs for NW20 and found four different shades recommended by LM Reps and customers, they were: Cream Ivory, Rose Ivory, Beige Ivory and Sand Beige. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful! Also,  anyone have any skin issues after using Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer? I think it might be breaking me out?

Post Laser & Want To Heal Up & Keep Results SO NEED ADVICE ON SERUM!
OK, I had the Laser thing'e done to remove/zap where those cpl of red splotchy places on my cheeks were that made/ left those capillary's that were (I thought broken, but not the case) just more visible due to sun damage, aging, & hormone change . SO, now I need to make sure ("when I can put it on my face", I'm sure by the time it arrives to my home from shipping it will be fine) that during the healing process (when the thin, tiny scab's fall off / start to fall off) I am using the correct prod's to help heal up & diminish any sign's of pinkness ( from where the laser was/ scab was ), prevent any marking or minor scarring from the procedure & from future damage (free rad's, sun, etc.)     * (I did buy the FAB serum (haven'y used it yet, I had too many things to try out 1 by 1, & now not so sure if I need to try & or keep it for waaay post healing skin care regimen). Can y'all help me please & I need to make a choice (been reading for hr.'s) asap b/c I have a bad headache & need to carry on w/ the day! lol    SO here it is:   - SO, I see that there is a 100 point perk for a Bliss cream w/ Vitamin C & E in it. I thought a/b trying it but I am not 100% sure that it's ok for my skin which is dry & can be sensitive . SO, what do y'all think?  - Ole Henriksen has a mini of the 3 Little Wonders kit ( & a mini of the Sheer Transformation separate ). Do y'all think that would be as good, better, &/  for my skin type? *   And if I was gonna buy 1 of them full sized ( preferably a serum or serum/oil) to go under my REN Global moisturizer, which 1 would it be? * I like Ren b/c it works w/ my dry & sensitive skin . If need be I can stop it for while & use the # Little Wonders as I believe the Sheer Transformation is a moisturizer also Right? I have already got 1 BA's advice & opinion on the Ole. H. & Bliss but I would LOVE to hear what y'all think & which 1 to get & how (set, single, large, none of the above/ something different) ! Thanks ahead of time! Also if you have SPF Recommendations ( other than La-Roche Posay or Skin Ceuticals b/c they seem hard to find & are expensive, even though the latter is having a sell today...read it on Total Beauty) b/c I have a 100 point perk of Clarins SPF ( is that mineral, anyone know ) & think I am gonna give Josie M.'s SPF Oil another chance since I have it . But would def. like to hear & have something to either make me feel better a/b the SPF's I have or a better 1 for my dry & sensitive skin. I would like something suitable/ perfecto for my skin & also very comfortable to slap on by itself (over moisturizer of course) & under a cc/bb , powder, powder w/ spf,or the BareMinerals Serum Foundation. Thanks.

A thought about "items on sale"
So if you are like me, I stalk the sale section everyday (ok actually multiple times a day) looking for new items added to this section.   Yesterday I went into a SIJCP and noticed they have products on sale. Most were products from Sephora Collection but were drastically reduced. For example single eyeshadow and liquid eyeliners were $2.99 and online the lowest I saw were $5.00. (Regularly $13)   So I thought ran thought my mind, wouldn't it be nice If Sephora had "weekly specials" like most other retail stores. I don't mean the drastically low prices we see in the sale section for discontinued items or what not but maybe something like save $5, $10 or $15 off items from UD, LM, TF, Tarte etc depending on the price. (Something like $5 off a $30 lippie or like $20 off a more expensive item like Clarisonic)   Anyone else feel the same?

Mystery Bronzer!
I am trying to figure out this bronzer secret from my friend's wedding make up artist. I'm not quite sure how to describe it but she had this amazing bronze look on her face that I would describe as a luminous baked look. She would not tell me what she used! Frustrating.    I've used Stila's bronzer, Naked's bronzer and Lancome's brush wand.  The closest I've come is to the lancome brush and then sealing it with Urban decay's all nighter spray.    This sort of gets the idea across but it was more...crackly or baked? Reminded me of the dried desert texture but it probably means there was too much on her.

Her Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in Bronze 03 is also amazing! Depending on your skintone you may want to go a bit lighter than that however see post
