Natural Highlight?

Hi I was curious if anyone had a recommendations for natural highlights for people with fair/light skin tones?

I don't wear foundation, I just want a little glow to my face.

Thanks!!

Re: Natural Highlight?

Hi @glamfanxo

There's so many great options recommended here! I'd love to add a few more suggestions. Wander Beauty Catch the Light Highlighter is a very soft natural highlight. It's a cream formula. I have the shade Sun and it's great for yellow skintones. (:

Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Twinkle really adds that little bit of twinkle to your skin! It's a nice nude pink color so it'll also be nice for adding a slight bit of color to your cheeks.

Guerlain Météorites Illuminating Powder Pearls is also amazing for a beautiful subtle highlight. Not to mention the packaging and product itself is gorgeous! They have many shades available, so there's definitely one that can suit your preferences.

XOXO,
Marieke

Re: Natural Highlight?

Hi @glamfanxo,

I suggest Hourglass's Ambient® Lighting Powder in the shade Ethereal. It is meant to  be used as a finishing powder but is also great for a very natural glow it also gives your skin a blurred and diffused look so your face will appear soft.

Another option is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact. It gives a subtle glow and is not overpowering.

I hope this helps!

Best Wishes,

Janean

Re: Natural Highlight?

Hi @glamfanxo !  I'm in a similar boat - I don't wear foundation and I'm fair with freckles.

My absolutely favourite highlighter for everyday glow is the RMS Living Luminizer. I can't express how much I love this highlighter. It's the only one I've ever used up and re-purchased!

Another highlighter I recommend is Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12 hour highlighter. I have the shade Stunner and it's really wonderful. If you apply lightly with a fan brush it gives a nice glow, and it can be built up for night's out 😉

Edit: Honorable mention! The Cover FX highlighters are also great at a relatively low price point. You don't get a huge amount of product, but realistically you use very little anyway. Should last a long time! Celestial is a really great shade for light skin tones and it can fit the "glowy" bill for sure.

Re: Natural Highlight?

I have fair skin, and two of the most 'natural' looking highlights on me are the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in 'Pearl' and the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in 'Highight 01'. The Nars Illuminator in 'Copacabana' might be another good one to check out, but from what I remember it's a little more shimmery than the Becca. 🙂
