Getaway promo bag

Silly question--but has anyone used the "Getaway" travel bag for flying yet? I'm curious if it really passes carry-on security. (Great promo btw.)

Yes, everything included IN the bag will pass TSA screening for a carry-on. The issue, I think, is the bag itself. Although it's the right volume to pass the TSA (one quart), security favors clear plastic bags (e.g. Ziploc baggies) whereas the Sephora bag that comes with it has a bit of a frosted finish that isn't totally transparent.

Thanks--yes, it's the bag itself I'm wondering about. It looks like it would hold a lot more than a Ziploc, so it would be great if it passed!

Unfortunately TSA requires carryon products to be placed in those ziploc bags. Too bad though because the getaway bag does hold quite a bit in it
