foundation vs bb & cc

(0) Hearts

I am currently using Bare Minerals foundation, I have oily prone skin, large pores, not really acne prone tho. Looking to simplify my makeup, from moisturizer, primer, foundation, and setting powder. Need advice as far as BB and CC creams.  I am 36 and also want anti aging, but it seems anything anti aging is very moisturizing, which my severely oily skin cannot handle.  I am not looking for a heavy coverage either.

Do you use cream/lotion moisturizer underneath foundation/BB/CC? I know that most foundation don't contain moisturizing/anti-aging stuff, most BB/CC cream contains primer and anti-aging moisturizer, so those and can be used without moisturizer/primer underneath (as long as you are getting proper SPF). You can try that and see how your skin likes it

The most potent/effective anti-aging stuff are best done at night. The best thing you can do during the day is to make sure the skincare have high SPF and anti-oxidants. You can try a serum w/SPF instead of a cream moisturizer under make up, such as these: http://www.sephora.com/protect-spf-55-serum-sunscreen-P238608

I do use an oil free moisturizer at night, and in the am i do not use a moisturizer.  I Use NARS Pro-Prime skin smoothing face prep, then Bare Minerals ready foundation with spf 20 and then perfect light mineral veil on top of that.  I was hoping to find a good tinted moisturizer or bb or cc cream that has spf in it that would be ok for oily skin.  I am not concerned with heavy coverage or anything.  I just want to simplfy what I put on my face everyday into one easy step.  I work inside all day, and in the spring/summer if I am out in the sun, I do use a facial moisturizer with spf.  Thanks for the advise :smileyhappy:
