I see so many questions and comments on here about acne and skin care routines that just aren't working anymore or not at all and the condition of their skin is not getting better. I didn't know if everyone knows the difference between cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical which is physician strength skin care (dermatologist office). The cosmeceutical product is only going to work on the surface of your skin and nothing deeper. This may work for a while but then you are stuck with nothing. A physician strength is going to get deeper into your skin and help to promote healthy cell turnover and you'll get much better results. Every one thinks it's so expensive to start but it's really not considering the amount of money you spend in all trying to find the right skin care in a drug or department store in all reality it costs about the same.

You are absolutely right Beautylovingirl!
I probably tried over 30 different drugstore products for my acne before I invested in a 3 or 4 pharmaceuticals and BAM! IT is so satisfying to see a few lovely bottles on the vanity instead of huge rubbermaid boxes full of "remedies" that never work.

Sometimes it ends up being cheaper than most over the counter stuff. I am on Pharmaceutiacals (antibiotics) for my acne. My skin is dry and tends to not enjoy products such as accutane, due to the fact that they tend to be too harsh on my skin. Because of that, I was placed on antibiotics and it has really helped to clear up my skin.
