I've had it for a couple of months now and I love it! You won't regret getting one

Re: Clarisonic Mia?

I put off spending the money on the Mia, and when I finally bought it, I regretted ever waiting. It really helps to unclog pores and remove makeup, it's made a huge difference in my skin staying clear. I do plan to buy the deep cleansing replacement head when I need it, but overall it has been one of the best investments I've made in a while.

Re: Clarisonic Mia?

Good morning, Beauty212!

In answer to your question as to whether the Clarisonic Mia is worth buying, my response is:  Yes!  Yes!  A thousand times--YES!

I realize that it's quite pricey but it's the best beauty/skincare investment I've made in the last year.  I have oily skin that is prone to hormonal breakouts.  However, after using the Clarisonic Mia, my skin is clearer and positively glows when I get up in the morning.  Plus my pores are minimized to the point where I don't need to use as much makeup for my complexion.

Although some people use the Clarisonic Mia twice a day, I only use mine at night to cleanse my face of all oils, makeup and other surface dirt that may clog my pores.  This allows my serum and moisturizer to do the work they are formulated to do while I am sleeping.

You can use any cream, gel or foamy cleanser with the Clarisonic Mia.  However, I would caution against using any cleanser with exfoliating granules or beads because this will cause too much stress to the skin.  Because it's waterproof, I use mine in the shower when the steam opens my pores.  When you first use it, you may experience some initial breakout; do not be alarmed or discouraged though.  This is what is called a purging period where all the built-up gunk beneath the skin's surface is coming through.  Even though it is gentle enough to use daily, you may want to start off using your Clarisonic Mia three times a week or every other day until your skin adjusts.  Your skincare needs should also determine which of the brushes you should use.  I started out with the gentle brush, graduated to the normal one and am now using the deep pore cleansing one because of the warm weather.  Just be sure to change your brushes every 3 months.

I would highly recommend this product!

Re: Clarisonic Mia?

Which Mia are you looking into? I know you've posted under the oily skin forum, but do you have any other skin issues? If not, I would suggest getting the regular Mia or the Mia2, but my suggestion is to get it on Amazon. It's cheaper. I hope this helps and good luck!
