Best night time moisturizer?

Hello ladies,

I've noticed that I'm starting to get some tiny wrinkles on my forehead and I was told that I might need a nighttime moisturizer. With oily skin I've always been hesitant to put much on my face besides my morning Clinique moisture gel, which isn't providing much moisture at night. What would you recommend?

Hello,

I too have oily skin and am concerned about lines and wrinkles. I use Poetry in Lotion which has 1.0% Retinol to resurface your skin and hydrate while you sleep. I would use every other night until your skin adjusts to it. It is amazing how you see the lines start to soften, especially forehead lines. After you cleanse your skin use this lotion followed right after. You can also use this on the nights you use your regular moisturizer more like a treatment. If you try this product you must wear at least an SPF 30 during the day. Hope this helps,

Hi, Sparksmcgee!

I also have oily skin, but as I get older, I notice that my skin needs a little something more than the Clinique Dramatically Different Gel at night.  Because the nights are still pretty cool where I live, even when I use the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Relief Gel, my face sometimes has dry patches around my lips.

Now that I use the Caudalie skincare line at night, I've fallen in love with the Vinosource Quenching Sorbet-Creme.  It's great for all skin types and absorbs immediately without leaving a greasy feeling.  A little bit definitely goes a long way.  I keep it in the refrigerator and it feels really great when applied.  When I wake up in the morning, my skin is glowing and well hydrated.

You may definitely want to look at a serum also.  I use the Laura Mercier Multi-Vitamin Serum, which I absolutely love!

Although it's a little pricey, I believe it is worth every penny.

first you need to use a serum! i have oily skin, too, and you should be using a serum and moisturizer at night. right now i'm using clarins bright plus intensive brightening smoothing serum and cerave pm moisturizing lotion. it's a great pair and at 41 i have no wrinkles except for laugh lines around my mouth! i used to use dermalogica daily resurfacer and an olay night cream and that was great as well. the only thing i'd like to add would be retinol, that's one thing i need to add to my routine.
