which is better to use under powder foundation for oily skin? Primer? CC? BB?
I have a very oily t-zone and within just a few hours (or less even?) my nose is very shiny. I wear powder foundation so which is better to use first? A primer? What about CC and BB creams?

BEST PRIMER?
I currently use Loreal's true match mousse concealer and I am planning to buy a product that helps with a couple of flaws I have.   1)Oily skin - After 2 hours or so, my skin becomes VERY oily and shiny. I would love a product to help my make up stay on for the whole day. 2)Big Pores - I have huge pores and I want a product to help me make them not visible .  3)REDNESS - This is my biggest problem. After I wash my face and apply vaseline lotion it becomes red on my cheeks and ESPECIALLY on the edges of my nose. The redness is somewhat a very light rosacea.    PLEASE HELP AND LIST SOME PRODUCTS DOWN BELOW ! I am a 16 yr old teen looking to spend under $40.

I usually use the St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer and find that it works well for me in the winter.  But it's a little bit heavy for me in the summer and my skin gets on the oily side and very shiny!   Any suggestions for an affordable lightweight summer moisturizer that can go on under primer + BB cream for daily use?

Flakey primer problem
I have oily skin with large pores in my t zone that always need covering up. I've tried many of those clear "gel" looking primers (porefessional, smashbox, too faced, Lancôme) but they always seem to flake up on me when applying. I have skin care products I apply underneath the primer but I refuse to skip those. does anyone else have this problem?

How do you get rid of older black heads?
I've had blackheads since 12 years old (I'm twenty three now). I exfoliate weekly and use facial masks 2-3 times a week. In addition, I use beta-hydroxy acid several times a week. I don't expect that my black heads will completely disappear but they not only remain stubbornly unchanged, they are slowly spreading into areas outside of my t-zone. What products should I try to keep them at bay? Is it time to visit the dermatologist?

Liquid foundations for oily skin!
I have used so many foundations and because i have oily skin its hard to find a good-long lasting liquid foundation. So far I've found one that I've liked and that's the new Stila foundation with concealer in cap. I was wondering what foundation is similar and or lighter (maybe even a powder than a liquid as well)? Plus I've noticed that my skin is very fair and more pink, so foundations with less yellow are much appreciated!!   Please and thank you!!! -Lydia

Moisturizer HELP!!
I need a new moisturizer and after reading lots of reviews i've narrowed it down to about 5 so if you have tried any of these please let  me know how they worked out for you. Also i have oily skin, prone to breakouts (especially when trying new products) and redness with sensitivity. So im looking for one that kinda does it all. My main concerns are oiliness throught the day and acne scars so id like it to help with both of those and i only need a morning moisturizer got the nightime one covered.  1. Ole Hen. -vitamin plus or sheer transformation 2. Kate Somerville -oil free or Goats milk 3. Korres -pomegrante balancing- i got a sample of this not sure how i feel about it tho, made my skin kinda oily a couple hours after applying maybe i used too much tho 4. Bliss -energizing+ C cream 5. Fresh -umbian clay 6. Boscia -revitalzing black

Still Oily...
A this point I have tried 4 primers, and none of them seem to work on m y skin. I always end up oilyy, and the make-up is coming off. The primers that I have used are: Smashbox Light Primer, Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free, Laura Mercier, and Benefit Porefressional Primer. I always use Too Faced Invisible Powder to finish it off, but it always seems to make me oily. I use Kat Vond D foundation, and Clinique BB cream. Any advice is welcome.  Thanks for your time.

Q. Have you tried SK-II?
I've seen SK-II mentioned again and again in interviews with celebrities (Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, some models and stuff) and it's carried in Sephora, so it's kind of within reach. I was wondering has anyone tried it? which product and is it good for oily skin?   I've brought stuff for my mom, but the main complaint was it's too creamy/thick since she have 100% oily skin. I think La Mer's gonna be a bit too thick, and I was eyeing the SK-II Essence for change of season/especially tiring days (but no pimples or oily mess allowed).

Oil control
Hi, I'm looking for something that will provide good oil control, perhaps a primer or a lotion.  I don't need a lot of coverage; right now I just use concealer where needed, a bit of Tarte bronzer and Chanel blush.  But my t-zone gets very oily by mid-day.  I have tried Boscia T-zone treatment, and a few different primers (like Urban Decay and Nars), but nothing seems to work.  Can you recommend a moisturizer, treatment or primer (or all three!) that will really control oil? Thanks!

Can NOT get my oily skin/nose under control.
It's beginning to get a bit ridiculous and, I admit, disheartening. I have tried oil-free cleansers and moisturizers ... all of my foundation is oil free and I've applied them on top of high-end primers as well as drugstore primers and nothing. is. working.   A good cleanser then primer then oil-free foundation will work well for no longer than 2 hours. My nose is an oil slick. My forehead and cheeks can go about 4 hours on a good day. Blotting powders are useless 30 minutes after applying and blotting papers only rub off my makeup, making my face look even worse. I'll leave the house with a flaky, dry nose due to the layers of primer and cleanser. I get to work and spots of oil have already began to show.   I don't know what to do.   My skincare regime: Morning - Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Cleanser Salicylic Acid pad from dermatologist   Evening - Noxzema makeup removed wipe Cetaphil or Mario Badescu Acne Wash with my Clarisonic Salicylic Acid pad from dermatologist Oil of Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer for Oily/Combo Skin

(Possibly) Weird Mattifier Question?
Hi everyone! I have what might be a weird (or stupid) question.   I have oily skin that's getting oiler by the day (particularly now as it's starting to get warmer in CA, where I live). I'm looking for an untinted mattifier that is stand-alone because all I wear on my face during the day is sunblock. I do NOT wear foundation, powder, concealer, BB cream, or anything. Just sunblock if I'm going outside. I've been using a sample of Dermalogica's Clearing Mattifier and so far it's all right, but I'm interested to see what else it out there since I've never actually TRIED a mattifier until this one.   So what I want is a mattifier (+10 if it also helps with acne/blackheads) that I can wear by itself or with sunblock. Any tips?
