Should I buy the acne brush set Mia 2, or is a regular Mia 2 ok for problem skin?
I have recently posted on the forums about my terrible chin acne, and think I will finally bite the bullet and invest in a Mia. I'm not sure whether to get the regular Mia 2, or the acne brush Mia 2. Any suggestions are welcome!

The original Mia works great! the sensitive brush head is fine for acne-prone skin. It does a great job at cleaning your skin. Just remember to start out using it a few times a week and slowly increase the usage so that your skin can adjust. It helps with oiliness and pore size and helps to keep the skin and the pores unclogged.

Hi alea4240 - Well, makeupobesessed just pretty much took the words right out of my mouth. I would also say get the regular MIA and just buy different brushheads, some regular, some deep pore cleansing and alternate as needed. I don't know enough about the Mia2, I've seen it and just read a little about it but can't fully wrap why the changes they've made make it so much better. I also was a hold out on the regular Mia, I waited quite a while before purchasing it, I wanted to see what more people would say and to see if they made any changes or worked out any bugs.
What you honestly could do is call Clarisonic directly and speak to somebody, if she or he seems nice you could probably ask more questions and get good honest info, they will sometimes say things like' you know, the regular Mia is fine" or 'OMG you definitely will get a much better result with Mia 2' Or, they may even say something like, wait a little longer because a huge special is coming up.
Sign up for email from clarisonic, beauty.com/drugstore.com, QVC, I mention those just because I have the most faith in their brands and their policies - although, you need to check beauty & drugstore return policy. I bought mine through QVC *good return policy* as a TSV (todays special value - best value of day- won't go below that $) They don't always do a TSV of a certain product more than once, but they do with Clarisonic because it has a life of its own. Usually they have specials around holidays, Summertime, with kids getting ready to go back to school, I'd bet money they have a TSV for that. So maybe call and get info from Clarisonic directly. Then wait for the QVC TSV, with the lower price, some bonuses and always great colors and patterns. I'm so envious when I see the new gorgeous ones, mines pink, my signature color. Don't pay full price though, I really believe they'll be a Back 2 School TSV, maybe in August.
I hope you'll come back and let us know what Clarisonic says if you contact them. I also look forward to you coming back and telling us what a great price, color/pattern and bonus's yoy got. Good luck with this, I know I drove myself crazy trying to make my mind up. Take care and hope to 'chat' with you soon. I hope you enjoy your summer. ![]()
