Oily skin - need a good moisturizer

I have very oily skin and am looking for a good moisturizer. I want something that is not greasy and does not make my skin oily. Something that my skin can absorb and not just sit on the surface. My skin also tends to flake which makes everything even worse and I have mild acne. I have tried Philosophy, Clinique, Murad, Proactiv, etc. Please help!

Korres Yoghurt cream is spectacular for oily and combination skin.  It's one of my all time favorites and never made my breakouts worse or caused new ones.

Juice Beauty has an oil-free moisturizer that I also liked when I using their acne line.

I think the Korres Yogurt cream would be great for light weight hydration without oil.

Try using an exfoliator, to remove flakiness and keep skin smooth.

Im a big fan of facial mists. They are great to use after cleansing or though out the day for a quick boost or moisture and freshness.

Kinerase "Lotion" is a great lightweight moisturizer that is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and is ideal for normal-to-oily skin (and it's non-irritating for even the most sensitive skin like mine).  You can find out more info on this moisturizer on Sephora's website:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P100110&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=5794.

I hope this helps you.  :smileyhappy:

I have very oily skin that also gets pretty dry (either from harsh cleansers, or the weather), and I've found that Argan oil works quite nicely for me. I usually just use it at night, but if areas of my skin seem especially dry in the morning before I put my makeup on, I'll put just a little in those areas. One or two drops covers my whole face. I haven't noticed my skin breaking out any worse than usual since I started using it, and as long as I don't put too much on, it soaks into the skin nicely. Josie Maran Argan Oil For what it's worth, argan oil was also the only thing that worked on my lips when they cracked really badly when it started getting cold this fall.

Try bio elements 'beyond hydration' moisturizer. It's formulated for oily skin, and it's a gel so it's not heavy at all. I have oily skin and it helps me A LOT! Good luck hun :smileyhappy:

Oil of Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer for Oily/Combo skin is great. It squeezes out rather thick but absorbs into the skin rather nicely.

I have super oily skin and I totally understand what you mean ! My husband would even tease me that I could use my oily skin to make fuels , lol. I am tired of trying so many products and finally set down with Caudalie vinopure matte. It's awesome and helped me a lot. I can think of any other moisturizer for my skin.

I also have oily skin, and my personal favorite is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing gel...I realize that you said you have tried Clinique but I know that they have a lot of different lotions and this one has definitely been the best for my skin. Hope that helps!

I suggest the Boscia oil-free day and night moisturizers. They are by far the least greasy face lotions i've ever tried. Some people say it doesn't offer enough moisture and therefore it's truly for the oily/combo skins. It contain some gentle oil-control properties and no harsh ingredients.  Their cleansing gel is great too. Contains no sulfates so i recommend massaging onto face in circular motions for a good amount of time since it foams a bit less than the high-sulfate ones. I've noticed many people with very oily or acne skin use cleanser that are too harsh. this will only result in more oil production and irritation to skin (turning red/itchy, etc). FYI, foaming cleansers that comes in a tube that squeezes out like toothpaste are way too harsh and stripping of the skin. They need a lot of artificial/chemical ingredients to help them foam up so much and those aren't healthy ingredients. Foaming gels are much more gentler.
