What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

We found a new pizza place by our house. I was really excited to try it. It is called Pizzaish. The orher pizza place we normally go to hasn't been producing their best pizza yet and that is another reason I was excited to find a new and amazing pizza place .

We got two different kinds. The half on the left was jerk chicken. It had a mango salsa. I wil the mango was cut up smaller. But it was tasty. The pizza on the right is truffle oxtail. It was my favourite out of the two.

@peculiarzmakeup Thank you. It was such a tasty treat. I will definitely be going back to try the other flavour combinations. My son ended up ordering the Buffalo chicken one and he really enjoyed it!

@CookieGirl1 They do! The next one I want to try is coconut curry chicken. I would have tried it the first time, but my SO doesn't enjoy cilantro.

I tried a new product from Whole Foods.  Frozen passionfruit chunks.  They're so tart, with just a little bit of sweet.  Lots of flavor.  I think I'll be reaching these when I'm in the mood for sour gummy candies. 🙂  Although they would make a great sauce for vanilla ice cream, or dipped in dark chocolate, or....

You know, @Ispend2much6, I can't remember ever having passionfruit at all.  Maybe I need to explore this...

@CookieGirl1. I highly recommend it. The only other time that I remember having it was in a Panera smoothie but that didn't compare to this.

Today I also I tried Trader Joe's new French roast coffee.I ground the beans but left some exposed to the air when I went to my bedroom.

I noticed there was a strong smell of weed in the house!

 I was ready to open my window to see which neighbor was smoking when I realized the scent was  from the ground beans and was so strong that it permeated the house!

It tasted a lot better than it smelled, fortunately.😉

Strawberry rose almond milk and avocado summer roll  I had the new Hailey Bieber strawberry glaze soft serve (it was too sweet wouldn’t recommend, her smoothie creation is a lot better)
