What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

@Samtian  Looks yummy! We recently ate at IHOP after years of not , and I thought their omelets were really good.

@Ispend2much6 I hope it was a great experience. My local one we don't go to anymore because of the last few visits being horrible.

We ordered takeout from Earls but i wanted to feel like I was eating a home cooked meal so onto a plate it went!  Salmon and mushroom rice with peanuts and salad with radishes and the most yummy cilantro vinaigrette.

@heartsmyface Salmon, rice and salad all sound delicious. Cilantro vinaigrette sounds like the perfect salad dressing.

@JoSometimes  food tastes better on a plate.  The salmon was so good too!  Takeout salmon is tricky but it was perfectly just-cooked and super moist:)

I saw this Asian grocery store pop up on social media and absolutely had to check it out. I found some Pokémon cup ramen, which my kids were all to eager to put in their shopping carts and happily devoured at home because it featured their favourites: Pikachu and Eevee.

@Mellmars1185 @Samtian They’re really neat and super cute, though kinda pricey for what you get. My girls were super happy to eat them though.

@JoSometimes Omg!  Hahah, do they sell just the Pokémon Narutomaki without the noodles?   I very much want those untainted by gluten!!   😍😍😍😍. I immediately went and showed my husband and he has agreed to ‘take one for the team’ and buy some so I can see it in person!  😆

I don’t know if you can buy the cakes by themselves @heartsmyface. That would be amazing if they did! I would totally buy a bunch… for my kids…

Your husband is a good man for making the sacrifices necessary for you to see a cup for yourself.

Pho: From Coast to Coast

There are times during the year when I could happily have a bowl of pho every day. The first pic is from when I was in New York. The second is from the other day when SF was not only met with grey skies and fall weather but rain. Both his the spot. 😋
