What's on your plate?

What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? Smiley Very Happy

Re: What's on your plate?

Oh my, the grass is green where you are!!!!!! I haven't seen anything green in at least 5 months. I am so jealous.

Re: What's on your plate?

The weeds are green where we are. ha ha.

We seem to get enough wetness each week just to make the weeds grow.

But I guess I cannot complain too much.

I hope you have much verdancy in your future.

Re: What's on your plate?

It's has been awhile since I have posted here! So tonight I am posting two meals.

My dinner: pasta, ground pork, asparagus with a little bit of olive oil. It looks like mostly ground pork, but it is just covering up all the pasta.

My dessert: apple slices with peanut butter, heavy on the peanut butter Smiley Wink

My man's dinner: homemade sausage pizza (the crust was not homemade)

My man's dessert: chocolate chip and pecan cookies

Re: What's on your plate?

Yum yum yum! And kudos for going heavy on the PB!

Re: What's on your plate?

My plans for dinner tonight will be cooking up a baked mac n' cheese bread crumb topped casserole with applewood smoked bacon and broccoli! I have some left over steak cubes that I'll cook up as well.

Give it to me! (Stephen Colbert)

Re: What's on your plate?

Mmmm. My type of snack! Even has coconut oil instead of vegetable oils or seed oils like most snacks do!

Re: What's on your plate?

Snackaroons...more like Gimmeawholebagofthem-roons

Re: What's on your plate?

Good thing I didn't have couple bags of these at work. Otherwise, I'd devour them and gain 500 lbs to drown away my sorrow lol Smiley Happy

Doesn't look fancy shmancy, but it's super yummy! Veggies roasted together with some chicken drumsticks.

( Bad lighting, sorry... )

Re: What's on your plate?

Yum!

Re: What's on your plate?

Bad lighting does nothing to hide the fact that looks delicious! Is that sweet potato and asparagus I see?

Re: What's on your plate?

Nope, no sweet potatoes. Cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, onion and garlic.

Re: What's on your plate?

Ahhh, okay, looked sort of like sweet potato fries for a second. Either way, yummy yummy!
