What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

Re: What's on your plate?

😛 😛 😛 No!!!! I will not give in ^_^

Re: What's on your plate?

haha! This is the place for enablers. We will tell you you do when you don't!

No one should ever come on here saying.. Should I buy it? haha.

Re: What's on your plate?

Very true.

Re: What's on your plate?

We ask and say the "I don't" and "Do I need/should I buy" statements and questions for effect really so we don't look like uncontrollable consumers, haha!

Re: What's on your plate?

Naa no honey no sugar either just tea. I like sweet tea but I don't think the sugar would be good for my throat. I probably let it go a little too long because I always think if I just keep going I can shake it off but that didn't work this time.:O

Re: What's on your plate?

Just tea works for me! I'm currently sipping on a cup of green tea!

Re: What's on your plate?

@lylysa- I can't do honey and warm tea I'll gag. I only like Iced tea. I got a shot and some antibiotics and some good ole' cough medicine with codeine. The cough is not as irritating as other things.... HINT HINT.... But no moving on from that....

Re: What's on your plate?

LOL! 😉

Oh no on the gagging! Maybe some iced tea with honey rather than sugar then?

Re: What's on your plate?

@lylysa- Haven't eaten yet but making myself a grilled chicken salad.

Re: What's on your plate?

Yummmmm! What all are you going to put in?

Aww, I didn't know you had a cough! I'm glad to hear you slept well through the night, that's always so irritating when you're sick and TRYING to rest and a running/stuffed nose or dry throat/cough keep you up.

Honey and warm tea! 🙂 Get better soon!

They're so interesting!  The colors they come in are fascinating to see and the outer peel is just so unique!  It's like eating passion fruit jello that has some form of nutritional content XD

Re: What's on your plate?

Probably, they primarily come from Vietnam, so you're most likely to find them at the Asian market.  I kinda stumbled on them by chance at the big Rosauers in this area 😛
