Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)
Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄
Veggie quinoa bowl for lunch today with chili lime sautéed Kale, Siracha & soy sauce roasted chickpeas garlicky roasted broccoli &, roasted curry roasted sweet potatoes & quinoa w/ spicy guac, hummus chili flakes & lime for toppings) it was a lot of different flavors on one plate but it tasted amazing]]

Buddha Bowls tonight. I made them a few weeks ago and absolutely love them so I am rotating them throughout my summer dinner menu.

Tried chicken cauliflower "rice" pilaf the other day... Not bad. But, nothing special, either.
But! What I made from the cauli rice leftovers the next day was pure awesomeness! Cauli crust pizza! And, it was a winner! The crust turned out so amazing! ( There's home made smoked pepperoni kinda meat under that cheese. And, those are black Kalamata olives on the top. )
So much win! And, so much yum! 🙂

Hello! Today I had the day off from the kitchen so my husband made smoked pork butt on the grill. It took 5 hours for it to cook and it was lusciously yum! (ETA: I was unsure if "butt" would be bleeped out. Glad it wasn't! ;))

Hello! My spiralizer has struck again! 😉 Today I made stir-fried chicken with Romanseco broccoli, with carrot and broccoli noodles mixed in.
it looks to me like a spiralizer is a good investment I've been pondering getting one for a while now.
This one looks good, too!
Newest experiment - cauliflower "potato" salad. This is so good, straight to regular menu it goes! 🙂 Yum!
