What companies have you gotten samples from?

I just wanna ask what companies give out free samples when you contact them. I only know of Mario Badescu and L'occitane. Smiley Happy

Who doesn't love free samples anyway? Smiley Happy

I was really hoping to try Coola, no where around me sells it that will give out samples...Ulta. So I emailed them, but they said they didn't have the resources. :\

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Thought I'd post this update, I finally heard back from Mario Badescu about the samples I requested back in August. Apparently they no longer ship complementary samples to Canada but offered to send them to me as a one-time courtesy for the huge delay and misinformation.

Thought I'd pass this along to any other Canadians.

For the ladies who have ben sent samples from FRESH, are you in the states or Canada? I havent emailed yet but their website says they dont ship outside the USA and I am in Canada.

My closest Sephora is over an hour away and I dont always have time to spend getting SA to make me up samples of the FRESH products I am wanting to try (rellay interested in their black tea line) and I dont like buying, testing and returning if it doesnt work for me.

That's awesome! Did you just go to contact us on each site and send them an email asking if they would send samples? (I probably should just look through this thread to find the answer but figured I'd ask you Smiley Wink )

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Thats how you do it! I have template emails pre-typed. I add in what particular products I am interested in. Have a brief description of your skincare/haircare needs and what you would like to achieve. A lot of places email back almost right away with suggestions of products they think would work for you and a lot will send samples of those products to you to test before purchase.

Really? L'OCCITAN said no to meSmiley Sad

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Thats odd.  They replied immediatly to my request saying samples were in the mail and I could stop at any store and get more if there were other things I wanted to try.

I requested samples from Mario Badescu in late August and still haven't received anything - is it normal for it to take this long?

I'm in Canada...

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

I got mine relatively quickly. They are super friendly. Emailing them about status may be helpful.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

I signed up for them right before you did (if I remember).  I got them a long time ago.  Maybe because I am in US?
