Pretend there is no dress code--What's your perfect makeup look?

There have been too many serious threads lately--let's start a fun one!

If there was no dress code and no social norms, what look would you rock daily? I would wear glitter eyeshadow non-stop!

Defined, overt, detailed, and striking!  I don't have the pic on this machine, but I went with a Tron Legacy inspired look which had a cat eye o the inside of the loop and on the outside of the eye had a wraparound which was a stark, bold, ovular line to a a point on either side of my nose.  That and a bold lipstick.  There were smaller details in the lines but they didn't show up well. Definitely over the top, and I wanted to rub my eyes by the end of the day, but I think I wore it well :smileyhappy:

If I could and if I had the right eye shape for it, I'd be rocking this look :smileyhappy:

Since I'm an artist (like a watercolor artist, not a makeup artist haha) I've always really been into crazy colorful, conceptual eye makeup. That would be so cool!

I've always really loved Cherry from Studio Killers' makeup <3

luckily I'm allowed to do whatever I want with my makeup, but I prefer minimal makeup on myself. bb cream, blush, filled brows, and mascara. lipstick if I feel like wearing something dressier than a t shirt and jeans. I prefer reds (ruby woo is my default), and I also wear OCC lip tar in black dahlia often.

whenever I try eye shadow, even neutrals, I feel like I'm a little girl playing with my mother's makeup or I feel too dressed up.

A little bit of everything.  If I were younger, I'd do it anyway :smileyhappy:

This really isn't so lofty, but as a student, I'm strapped for time as well as relatively inexperienced. If I could, I'd dress like a pin-up girl in full makeup every day...that's what I aspire to! Here's some of my inspiration:

I would basically be Lucille Ball... bright, classic, true red lips all day every day!

I'd probably stick to a gold sparkly eye or some purple. Then just like a plum lip I think. I would quite like to have my hair (as mentioned below) yellow like Gagas… or when it was teal… or curly and light pink. Pretty much anything she wears I'd love to try.

I would rock eyeshadow winged ALL the way out, 80s glam status, heavy contouring, rhinestones, insane color combos, the whole nine. If Glam, Goth, and Sci Fi/Cyber had a weird tangle love baby, that would be my look. :smileyvery-happy:

Yup, I'm the same way being more restricted by time constraints and age appropriateness than dress codes.

The only makeup product I can't get away with at work is black lipstick, which is fine since I don't wear lipstick anyway.

My work has a dress code but no real makeup code. Makeup is "up to our best judgment" according to HR.

I would go for a look like this:

Red lipstick is literally my obsession, and I love how simple yet smoky the eyeshadow is in this look as well. But I would add some false lashes just for fun!

If there was no dress code, and i had all the money to maintain it i would...

Wear 6 inch high heels everyday

Have yellow hair

show off my body

Basically i would dress like lady GAGA

I'm living the dream - I don't really tone down my look and am not subject to any dress code (the benefits of working from home and tech jobs - notoriously lax on dress codes! I think ours is "are you street-legal?") PTA meetings are fun to drop in on, though - women seem to be very judgmental of one another if they don't fit the look of a group (and it doesn't matter if it's someone like me with an edgy look at PTA or my soccer-mom-ish friend that likes to join me for goth-club-nights - it's so frustrating!)

Things I rock now full-time that I've had to tone down or cover in the past:

Large, visible tattoos
Half-white, half-black hair and a 'hawk
The reddest, blackest, purplest, fuchsia-est of lipsticks
Smoky eye whenever I please - dark or neutral or purple, usually
Jewel-toned nail polish (I don't glitter but I'll metallic every now and again)
Mostly-black clothing (I wear purple every now and again)
