Since Sephoramusthave started threads about different brands, I figured to inquire about a few brand(s) into one thread. The majority of these are not located close by to try.
Face Stockholm
Other than browsing their products on the web, I have yet to run into or try these products. They seem to have a pretty good selection with color. A few interesting skincare products as well.
There is a store in NYC (and two more locations in NY) and their products are mentioned from time to time in the press. They seem to also be at a few spa small shops.
RMS Beauty
The only time I have heard about this brand was through a vogue magazine article. It claims to be a pure organic line of cosmetics. Not much selection at the moment but it seems intriguing.
Embryolisse
Seems to be used by quite a few British youtube channels. Skincare products.
Curious if anyone has had any experience with any of these brands. Are there any brands that strike your curiousity but are unable to try (in person) due to location?

Tom Ford, Chantecaille, and Cle de Peau (I dont know if I spelled it right, but these are some of the higher end brands that I see in magazine all the time...and I would like to try them on to see if they are worth the price.

I've been to the Face Stockholm store in NYC, it is staffed by very nice ladies and has fascinating product in attractive packaging. It almost looks like a clinic in there, it is very white and chrome decor, tidy and clean looking. I got one of their cleansers, which works well, but I'm not sure that I'd get another one, since the sales tax in NYC is 8% (yow!) and it didn't work any better than other cleansers I already have.
There are a bewildering array of skincare items from obscure companies at the DermStore website. I get interested in them from time to time, but it's impossible to tell how well they work.
I am curious about Lisa Hoffman beauty- they have a Scentifyer that makes fragrance recommendations, like the lamented Fragrance Finder that Sephora used to have. ![]()

Oh almost forgot, have been wanting to try Mally Cosmetics Mascara and Liners, apparently they are suppose to be super waterproof.

There are several brands that I so wish Sephora carried. I get a twinge of pain each time I have to spend so much $$$$ at other department stores, when I would rather be accumulating beauty points ![]()
Chanel - for their blushes and glossimers alone.
Dolce & Gabanna - incredible lipsticks!
Deborah Lippmann - LOVE her nail polishes

ooh very interesting!
I haven't tried any of these brands but am pretty interested in doing so! I've also heard good things about Burberry makeup (sold in department stores) and have tried a new-ish brand that opened a store in our local mall called SkinFood. Super cute makeup and skincare that was really nice!
I bought a face spray and some different toners and masks, so gentle and light, cute too!

Hi Ladies,
Like Diana said, we had a new store (skinfood) open up at our mall and I was in love with all of the products. The prices are so affordable and they have SO MANY items. I think its actually been around for awhile however, this is the first time that I've heard about it. I also like the Burberry brand too. I checked them out at a local department store and the packaging is really pretty. Most of the products are weighted and feel really heavy. One brand I wished we carried was Chanel Cosmetics and Armani! Both of them have amazing lipsticks and tons of colors. I freelanced for Armani awhile ago and the foundation was such a hot seller![]()

Thanks for the info guys.....most of the brands I use are available on Sephora . I sometimes shop at other sites but usually get the same brands (sorry Sephora). The only other brands I purchase on a regular basis that Sephora doesn't carry are LUSH and Kiehls (they have a make-up remover I really like). I have used alot of Asian brands in the past, and I've heard that they BB creams (especially for the fairer of skin) are the best. I have notced that Sephora is adding new brands which is great. I am gonna purchase a Matte for Men product for the bro. Maybe some more affordable brands might be an idea. I hear so many good things about certain NYX products for example.

Great topic!
I really like all of the brands that have been listed so far. The NYX brand has a wide range of affordable products, I really like their jumbo eye shadow pencils, blush, eyeshadow, and lipliners. All of their items have great color payoff and come in a wide range of colors. I'm also a huge fan of Lush! I love their bath bombs and melts, especially the bombs...they come with a ton of different things baked into them from glitter to rose petals.

A new brand that I recently learned about is FACE Atelier, which is a bit of an underground professional makeup brand. The formula creates an optical blurring effect to give the face a soft flawless finish. But what I like most about the brand is the fact that they have products called Zero Plus and Zero Minus, that will actually lighten or darken your foundation for a perfect match. Both Zero products can be used with other foundations, they're perfect for those that can never find the perfect foundation shade or even to tweak your foundation color (which many of us need to do as the seasons change).
