Maltipoo Makeup Look: Gold Neutrals

Hi!  This look was requested by Makeupobsessed.  It's a gold/brown look that is very neutral, but is by no means a no-makeup look.  This is appropriate for daytime or can be built up to be suitable for evening.  I know I have done a lot of neutral tutorials, but I feel like they are timeless and never go out of style, so it's nice to have a couple options on hand.  I'm going to try out a new format for this look, so let me know which way you prefer!  Here we go:

1. Apply a gold base or an eye primer (I used Mac's Bare Study paint pot) all over the lid, and set it with a pale gold eyeshadow (I used Sephora's mono shadow in Californian Blonde):

2. Apply a bronze eyeshadow on the outer 1/2 of the lid and in the crease (mostly in the outer crease):

3. Deepen the outer V with a darker brown (I used a dot of Urban Decay's Darkhorse, stamped it in my outer crease, and blending to my outer V from there). I added a pale highlight shadow to my brow, and then added brown eyeliner along my top lashline, winging it out just a tiny bit:

4. Apply mascara, an touch up any shadows you want to emphasize (I went over the gold on the inner 1/2 of my lid to brighten the look.  Here's the result!

Maltipoo, I Love, Love, Love this look!  As always, you look so pretty and I like the step by step new version so I can see how you blended the colors and make sure when I'm doing the look that mine looks like your tutorial at each step.

Speaking of tutorials, I think we all should give you the PhD in makeup looks, you are such a fabulous teacher!
