Magic mike/ Channing Tatum

I now this belongs in the lounge but my app doesnt have that option....Sorry! Anyway, I am super excited to be going to see Magic Mike this week with my girlfriends. While I'm not a huge fan of strippers , they're okay, I am a huge fan of Channng Tatum...especially after The Vow. I loved the butt shot, lol. Anyone else going to see Magic Mike? Any other movies out there I must see? I don't believe I've heard of anymore worth seeing.

It's Magic Mike time tonight gals! I can't wait! I do not expect it to be a deep, grownd-waking movie worthy of an Oscar, but I do expect Channing and Mathew to be entertaining, as a shirtless Mathew McC is always a pleasure to go see.

Hello! 

Saw the movie on Saturday!  Now, don't expect it to be the greatest movie ever, because well... it's not.   The script lacks something to be desired, as does the acting...and well, the plot.  But, there is no denying the fact that Channing Tatum has moves, and a fantastic body.   My biggest complaint about the movie? 

Not enough of this guy.

If you're looking for a fun girls night out, then I do recommended it.   If for nothing else, the audience is always really entertaining during the times the movie isn't.   We were sitting next to a group of 50+ women who were clearly big fans of Matthew McConaughey, and they were hootin' and haulerin' any time he was on the screen.  Too funny!

I'm tempted to see this movie, but want to see Ted because I adore Mark Wahlberg! Strange from me since I'm not much of a movie go-er these days! My old bf and I would see a new movie every week for about a year straight, I think it sort movie-d me out!  

My mom loves Channing Tatum ever since she first saw him in Step Up. I actually saw a movie on FX the other day, Stop Lock , with him, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Ryan Phillipe which was very interesting.. Seemed very anti-war to me but then at the end was almost sort of propoganda like to me.. Very conflicting feelings about it and it makes me wonder why it wasn't advertised in theaters so much?

I'd like to see Snow White and the Huntsman just for the makeup and effects  but other than those I don't have too much of a preference.

Can I tell you how much I L.O.V.E Channing Tatum?!  Diana's mom & I would get along fantastically!  My family loves going to the movies, so we have quite a list to go see this summer... The Amazing Spiderman, Ted, The Dark Knight, Brave, Thats My Boy... the list goes on & on!  But I'll be seeing Magic Mike with my girl friends this weekend & totally cant wait.  Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Adam Rodriguez...  sigh.

I'm seeing it Thursdays so I'll let you guys know how it is. I love Channing Tatum and Mathew McC, and Adam Rodriguez too. I loved Channng Tatum in the Vow and 21 Jump Street even though it's so nOt my type of movie, he was funny. I'm just a sucker for chick flicks.

lol, it looks like a fun movie. I wanted to watch Horrible Boss and Bad Teacher (mostly cuz I love Diaz and the fact she's unabash/not apologetic for her behavior, lololol) last summer and never got around to it, now I just feel lukewarm about them. I did watch The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo after much hype and it was nice, but a bit too much sexual violence for me.

I'm sort of obsessed with Snowwhite & the Huntsman after seeing the trailor (love a strong female instead of oh-I'm-going-to-weep-and-be-weak-until-my-prince-rescues-me, and love Charlie Theron), which leads me to be obsessed with the movie inspired kit from Benefit. I never watched any of the vampire stuff so I didn't have any prejudice against KS. I couldn't go see it in theatre that week so I digged up a terrible home-video of it someone in the theatre shot with babies crying and staticky noise in the background. Other than that I've just been following TV shows and manga as usual (America's Got Talent, GRIMM, White Collar (Matt Blomer is such an eye candy), and mangas like Noblesse, Girls of the Wild's).

Hey beautytester - I'll call your last summers Horrible Bosses and Bad Teacher and raise you The Smurfs!! I was so excited, it was supposed to be Winnie the Pooh, but at the last minute in the ticket line my niece just begged to see Smurfs, I gave in, Of Course. But I did say, not in 3-D, okay? She agreed. (although I'd have probably given in if she pressed the 3-D thing, Well, probably not, not sure how I'd do with 3d and couldn't have left her even to just sit right next to the door, still inside the building, I'd have been too scared.

WOW!!! I actually am rethinking that and am quite certainly I could sit through a 3D movie.

Is Magic Mike in 3D???

Heck, guys get to go to places like 'Hooters" and stare at things in 3D all the time, why should they have all the luck and all the Fun???!! **

A ton of my friends rushed out to see it this past weekend, seems like a fun movie! 

I definitely agree, it irks me when there's the cliche damsel in distress. I saw Prometheus this past weekend (which I loved) and the main character was anything but helpless. If you enjoy sci-fi movies or the Aliens trilogy it's one that shouldn't be missed! I was expecting it to be really slow after all of the reviews I read, but I was thoroughly captivated the entire time.

hi makeupobesessed - I'm right with you, there's just one problem I have with his nane. It really shouldn't be Channing Tatum, I think we need to start a petition to change his name to Channing Tat-YUM! Didn't see Magic Mike yet though. I also am not the biggest fan of  male strippers but I make an exception here. Can I ask you something? Do you think Matthew McConaughey has gone from super hot to kinda sleazy? I love the southern accent, and have always thought ws delish, but he seems to have changed, not exactly sure when it happened, he just seems....off,or something. (actually I haven't always thought he was all that, Just remember seeing his name everywhere and pictures and talk about his heat level when he was 1st up and coming and was in the movie where he played a lawyer, Sandra Bullock is in it. Can't think of the name of it, but after I saw hime in that movie, I was sold, thought he was amazing) Maybe it's just because I haven't seen him in things that were more of a stretch lately, that and I've gotten a little sick of always seeing pictures of him, shirtless and brushing his teeth on his way to the mailbox.

I saw TatYUM in a movie called Dear John...LOVED IT!! You'll have to see it, I think you'll like it. Then there was "The Eagle" it's a dirty movie though. I mean they're all dirty and fighting, it was like the middle ages or something, I can't remember details, the brain just isn't workin' with me. wouldn't have watched it without him, but I'm glad I did. Then I saw him in a movie with Vince Vaughan(love him too) called the Dilemma. Didn't realize it was him at first, took me a minute. It was also  good.

Geez, just looked up some of his movies and there are a lot, including Step Up, so I guess that means he can dance, would be interesting to compare TatYum in Step Up vs Tatyum Magic Mike. Hmmmm, it almost seems like a science project or something. I think you simply MUST see both of these movies ASAP, probably a few others too, just to be certain. In the name of science, of course.
