I FINALLY got Naked!!!

Hi everyone!  I just had to share something-I have been wanting the original Naked Palette since the day it came out, but I never bought it due to cost and the fact that I had many other shadows.  My sister saw that I had been eyeing it and playing with it every time we went to a Sephora store, and so today after I got home from a trip, she gave it to me as a gift.  It doesn't matter to me that I have fair-light skin - the colors are absolutely perfect for the type of looks I like, and they are such great quality!  This is my first set of Urban Decay shadows and I'm so glad I can finally appreciate them!  Let the experimenting begin!

Isn't that palette fabulous? I really truly do love mine, it works SO WELL for those days I don't feel like doing a crazy made up eye, but can instantly take me from simple day makeup to smokey night looks.

I'm not sure if they are up yet or if all already know but Urban Decay is changing some of their shadows.. a few colors are disapearing but there are great replacements for them! And, if you are like me and have those one or two favorite shades in your naked palette.. they will be available individually! VERY exciting for me..  Really, out of 4 different Urban Decay palettes I have had the original Naked is by far my absolute favorite one. Love love LOVE it!

YeeHaw, maltipoo!! I got MNAked at the beginning of last year and it's still my go to palette for everything from work to sophisticated parties. I am amazed at how versatile and UN boring it is! I've been a UD junkie for a while and it's becasue I love their bright and glittery shadows. Who knew that I would set most of those aside to use the Naked palette paired with the 24/7 eye and shadow pencils for eyeliner! (A neutral eye with a pop of color as a winged eyeliner is my favorite new combo). Now if I could only save up for Naked 2..........

Congrats, Maltipoo!  Although I was extremely big on brights, I believe the Naked palette has returned me to the ways of neutrals lol.  Be warned: once you get one Urban Decay palette, you'll be wanting more lol.

hahaha! What a nice gift! Ill have to hint to my sister more often..... I love naked! What i love is that you can make tons of looks! Ecpecially with the original and 2! I love mine. So happy for you!

So happy for you!!  This is STILL one of my main shadow palettes that I use on myself and on my clients- and I bought it the day it launched!  You will love it and have so much fun creating new combinations.

I swear I get more compliments when I wear this palette than any other...

Good morning, Maltipoo66!

I know exactly how you feel.  I bought the Naked Palette on Christmas Eve while in Sephora purchasing Christmas gifts for my sister and mother.  It was prominently displayed and although I've used MAC products for years, my attention was riveted by that beautifully pigmented pallete.  Before I knew it, I slipped it into my basket.  I've heard of the brand before but this is the first time I ever purchased an Urban  Decay product.  I absolutely LOVE this palette!  My skin is dark, but the shades are universal.  I also think it's a great value because if I had to purchase these eyeshadows individually, it would cost me a pretty penny.

You will love it also because the colors can be mixed and matched and you simply can't go wrong.  ENJOY!

Good for you! Naked is so fun, and there re so many color combos you can make. I wear like 5 colors a day sometimes...just playing around with it.
