SOOOOOO happy Sephora chose to add these to their repetroire (sp?) because they are two of my favorite nail polish brands. Anyone else psyched?! Esp. happy that I'll be able to own butter London's Black Knight ![]()

In my experience, glitttery polishes (not metallic or shimmery as much) last longest and are hardest to remove. I really love Wallis and Black Knight (best over a black if you don't want just layers of glitter). Knackered is beautiful too. Remember to paint the tips to help the polish last longer. I get about 5-7 days outta these if I'm careful. Hope this helps!

So, I broke down and bought Knackered last night. I feel overly guilty about spending that much on polish but it's sooooooo pretty. It literally looks like the inside of an abalone shell. ![]()
I've got bubbles again though... perhaps it's the base I'm using? I've been using the Sally Hensen Hard as Wraps simply because it's the ONLY thing that keeps my nails from breaking. I went a week without it and four of my nails broke. Buh.

Oh, also saw Black Knight in person. I NEED it. Didn't buy it last night though. I plan on going back for it. It's sooo pretty. I think it would be even cooler if you could use it for water marbling, like a galaxy. But I'm not sure if it will work with glitter polishes.

I use China Glaze's Strong Adhesion Base Coat but I have fairly strong nails... Glad you like Knackered! Yea, I've never done the watermarbling thing so I don't know whether or not that would work but it's worth a try!

butter london's lacquers are so worth the price - I get more complimets on my nails when I'm wearing Slapper or Trout Pout than I do on any item of clothing! I've found that with "3 Free" lacquers, if you use a 3 Free base & topcoat it works waaay better. I use butter london Hardwear (topcoat) and Nail Foundation (basecoat)

I'm pretty stoked. I really want butter London's Black Knight and Knackered. So much want. I also wanna try the Ciate polishes. Saw oil slick, and fell in love.
I was curious about SpaRitual. I like the packaging. The colors are really pretty too. I have so much nail polish that I don't even use though. D:
Now it seems whenever I paint my nails, I get bubbles in the polish, no matter how careful I am. >___<

I love Black Knight! I thought about getting Knackered too but it's too similar to something else I have. Oil Slick looks amazing but I haven't talked myself into ordering it yet.
SpaRitual makes my very favorite grey called Sacred Ground. I really like their formula so far.
Try swirling the bottles rather than shaking them up and down. The bubbles come from the empty air in the top of the bottle so avoid mixing that into the polish as much as possible. Also, be careful with your base coat. Most people just slap it on (I know I'm guilty) but the bubbles can sure start there. ![]()

What dupe do you suggest for Knackered? I've been to a couple different places, and haven't found one like it. D: I feel so guilty spending more than $10 on a bottle of nail polish.
I still have a few old Urban Decay shades. I'm wondering if I can use nail polish thinner on them so that I can use them again. Bruise is awesome.
Haven't found anything like that one thus far.

I have OPI's Not Like The Movies for Knackered but I don't know whether or not it's still available.
Bruised is gorgeous. I think Orly's Galaxy Girl is a pretty close dupe but hard to find... Sadness!

Oh! My bad for leaving this one out! Been dying to try Ciate thanks to Nikkie of Nikkietutorials who has raved about them. Plus they have a dupe for Chanel's Peridot (sp?). Good luck with the caviar mani! Tell me how you like it!

Love it! I didn't realize that the Black Pearl also has teal and plum beads to give more dimension.

I'm not going to try it yet, but I think it will be pretty easy to remove. I think I'll be able to remove the beads with one of my other nails. It seems like they would pop off pretty easily. I'll let you know if I'm wrong. ![]()
