8. Long lasting abrasive surface

10. Gentle on the nails 

Tip. Store in a container to protect the file unless you like keep pieces of glass in your pocket (don't put pressure on it!).

I love my glass file. My bf broke my last one! I had to run out and get a new one right away.

Also! You can file in either direction with these without worrying about the nail getting small cracks/chips/tears in it.

Well I had NO IDEA that glass nail files were around for years! I was watching a home shopping channel and the product came up, I was mesmerized just buy how attractive they were. Today I was window shopping at TJMaxx and ran in to the last one they had to offer. Simply amazing! Every girl should have one, even my husband thought they were "nice" which is like a regular person saying WOW!

I LOVE glass nail files! For awhile I was getting chipped and peeling nails. I thought it was because of my basecoat or something, then a manicurist told me to switch to a glass file. Everything you've mentioned is totally right! I made the switch a year ago and will NEVER turn back, in fact I've converted my mother and aunts to doing the same thing! Ladies you won't regret getting one for yourself!

I have been a fan of glass nail files for years. They are supremely durable and are the perfect balance of gentle and rough. I also love the fact I can use them on rough spots on my hands without damage.
