News Flash for Nail Junkies!

I am more obsessed with nail polish than I am with make up these days.  My makeup I've whittled down to a daily "neutral with a POP" look for work, but my nails are where I go all out. For those of you similarly obsessed, I wanted to let you know about two things!

First off, Julep is having a special where you can become a Julep maven and try out one of their boxes containing polishes and other beauty products for $0.01. Yes, that's right ONE CENT!! for the first month. I plan on trying it out because I'm a sucker for  a bargain. You can cancel whenever, so it really is only going to cost you one penny to try their stuff out!! If I'm not absolutely in love with their stuff, I won't buy another box, but for a penny I couldn't pass it up!

The code for that is: COLOR2012 at checkout! FYI: I'm in no way affiliated, I just like to pass on a good deal!

Now, for the other news. I am a Rescue Beauty Lounge nail polish freak wanted to let people know that reviews of the long awaited Fan Collection are out. The fan collection is a set of four colors that were created by the fans! The founder held a contest where people submitted photos and descriptions of their "perfect color" ideas, picked 11 out of the ones that were submitted, then let the fans decide by vote, which 4 would actually get produced. If you want to check them out, All Alquered Up, Scrangie and Kelli Gonzo all have swatches/reviews up. These polishes are $20 a bottle, so if you don't have the funds, you might not want to look, because you WILL fall in love!!

I ordered on March 12, and got my package today, March 15! It didn't hurt that the package shipped from WA to CA and that the time interval didn't include the weekends (non-business days), but I'm still impressed with quick shipping.

And they'll send an email to remind you to do that before you get charged on the 27th of the month. How nice of them c:

And it is a subscription service, but you can cancel whenever you want, including right after you sign up! That was my original plan, but I actually really like the products, so I 'm going to just pick and choose which months I want to get something!

It worked! I got my first 1 cent box today and sooooo worth it. I got a green polish called Sophia and a vibrant orange named Natasha. I love it. I also got a full size hand exfoliation. And a nail file....all wrapped so pretty. Thank you so much for the code to get this and i know weve spoken in private but i wanted ppl to see what u get and possibly u get more referrals. I want to get some referrals myself. Is it ok if they cancel after the first month? That's what I planned to do, I can't afford to keep it upright now. But for a Penney, u can't beat that... Thegreeen is just in time for st. Patsy's day... I was a bombshell....what were u on ur quiz? What colors did u get? The good things is I donthave colors like these at all.... so it's great. And the hand exfoliator was a full size!

I was a Boho Glam, but you can pick what style you want your box to be each month. You don't have to stick to the one you tested for. Also, you don't have to get the box every month. YOu can also pcik and choose if and when you get a box if you don't want to get one each month. The people you refer have to be in the program for at least 30 days so tht you can get referral credit.

I got Alicia Which was a sparkly aqua blue, which I LOVE because I love that color and glitter, and the other was a nice soft salmon creme, which looks really great with my skintone! I LOVE the packaging. TOTALLY going to reuse it! LOL!

Thanks mermadelove - The offer from julep sounds incredible, I have to give this a try, never heard of their brand either. I'm going to check it out. @makeupobsessed: Did you use the one I originally ave you or one they sent you with your referal link? Beause when someone from here tried to use the one I originally gave (Color2012) they told her it had expired. Weird.......
