Nails and Nail Art

I love doing my nails, and I find it relaxing for some reason.  Is anyone else like this as well?  Nail art is pretty fun as well.  What nail art ideas have you worked with and do you have any pics?

Here's one of my recent manicures I did.  I used China Glaze 108 Degrees and Caribbean Temptation along with L.A. Colors Nail Art in Silver Glitter (found it at the Dollar General.  Since it worked great had to go back for all of them since they were a buck each lol).

Polished my nails for something new today.  The base color is Orly in Seashell and the crackle is China Glaze in Haute Metal.  Of China Glaze's crackles, I believe the metal glitters are my favorite!

Thanks, pandapple6!  Half the fun of using crackles is picking out the base colors to put it with.

i LOVE doing my nails!!!i had an idea for toes:half of the nail(going shower way)is bright cherry red.the other half a nice hot pink. oh and i am going to get the blasted nail polish and use that.plz read all my posts they could use some answers/comments

@pandapple6  Thank you    And I know exactly what you mean about the drying time.  While I'm waiting, I'll end up needing to open something lol.  It almost never fails.  I had acrilics put on once, and that was last year for senior prom.  Never again lol.  Those things were a pain to get off. 

@nanobear18  I would love to find a bright cherry red polish!  I love red, but I haven't found the shade that calls out to me when I'm looking at nail polish.  I do like your idea, though   When you get the blasted nail polish you'll need to post a picture on here so we can see!

@kimmi1115 i use the essie red in lolipop.i think.not sure.but i will defintly post a pic soon of an idea i had...so keep up with me.oh and i will also do a blasted thing.whant ideas did you have?

I've always wanted to try the Essie polishes, but I end up caving on China Glaze polishes lol.  I'll need to take a thorough look at Essie's line of colors.

One idea that I think you may have fun with is polishing your nails with a very sheer pink and then painting the tips.  It's fun to use a base color on the tips and apply crackle polish over the color.  A funky take on the french manicure.

I really like your nails!! I do find doing my nails relaxing, I just hate waiting for them to dry lol! I have never had my nails done at a salon or manicure/ pedicure place so I have gotten pretty good at doing my own nails.
