Heart of the Ocean Gradient Nails
Since I'm a Titanic Geek, I tried my hand at gradient nails inspired by the famous necklace from the film. I was eager to give this a retry after I found the perfect glitter polish at Walgreens. I think that store surprises me every time I go in there lol. Pictures were taken with my iPhone inside and outside in the sunlight. The fake replica came from the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, and I probably stared at their real version of the necklace for at least five minutes lol.
The polishes I used for this look:
Sephora by OPI Nail Strengthner as a base coat
Sinful Colors in Hottie (yay for Walgreens' $1.99 nail polish! lol)
Finger Paints in Cerulean Seascape
Finger Paints in Artistic Azure (both I borrowed from my mom, she loves blue)
OPI in Into the Night
Seche Vite topcoat
Since the OPI shade was being stuck up and kept removing part of the Cerulean Seascape shade, I had to add in a bit of the Artistic Azure to kind of fix it. Even when it was kind of dry, the OPI shade still removed bits of it! I'm not too sure why it did that unless it has to deal with the polish formulas. I hope my nail polish posts have not been too annoying. If so, please let me know lol.
