I'm pretty much new here..and I would like to know what are you dying/wanting to try in the make-up world? For me, I would like to try the Luminess Airbrush makeup...I watched plenty of commercials about it, thinking how does that not go in your eyes/mouth..etc lol? but it does use less...I'm all about using less, and a lightweight feel.
So my friend is brand spanking new to the world of makeup. She's trying to get into it, but everything overwhelms her kinda easily. We took a trip so Sephora last night and that went....interestingly to say the least. But we got her color IQ'd, shes a 3Y06. She got the Urban Decay foundation in the 4 shade. We have some eyeshadows to play with, so now we're just looking for blush and eyeliner. She has a gel liner but that gets messy easily, so we're looking for a good liquid. Preferably something chubby opposed to thin. Blush wise we're both clueless. Any recommendations for both would be great!
I am planning on hitting Rouge on November 7th with the 20% off event (by the way, what do you guys think about the GHD straightener?) so I have decided to finally splurge on a beauty item I have never given much thought, lip liner! The problem is, I have no idea where to start my search, what is your favorite red lip liner? Which brand would you recommend? Any suggestions would help me lots!
I'm looking for a set of brushes that includes a powder, foundation, contour, and blush brush. I know that contour and blush brushes can compensate for each other, but I'd really like a set with two different brushes, one for contouring and one for applying blush. (For an added bonus, I'd love one that included some shadow brushes as well!) Any recommendations? If not, I'm in love with that rainbow holiday set, but it's lacking a blush brush, so if anyone could recommend a relatively cheaper blush brush that I could buy alongside it, that would be super helpful. Thanks!
I have really light normal/dry skin. I like liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. I don't need a ton of coverage, just enough to even out my skin tone. I currently use Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer in Shade 01, but I want to try something different. I'm 15, so I don't need anything too heavy. Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi! I have a "make-up-question". I have used the Laura Mercier mineral powder before, and i used the colour "tender rose" which was perfect for my skin. I am a little more tan now, and i wonder which colour you think would fit me best if I used to be a tender rose? I have to mention, I am not very tan, so is there a colour that is just a notch of a darker shade than the tender rose? Thank you very much!
Halloween is quickly approaching so it's time to start practicing special effects makeup to get it just right! This year I'm going as an Army Zombie (sexy, of course) and I have noooo idea where to start on my makeup! Does anyone out there have any product recommendations or tips and tricks they would like to share? Some main questions and concerns I have are: What colors should I use and where should I focus them? I'm worried that heavy and gunky special effects/theater makeup will make my skin breakout - is there a way to avoid this? What did you use to make your wounds? Any advice and information that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. -Vessna

So I just received my Shiseido order of The Makeup Powdery Foundation (Item # 1456276) in the mail and had no idea that I would only be receiving the refill with a sponge applicator and not a case to contain it all. I just read in the Q & A’s section that they no longer carry the compact, but that it does fit into the Sun Protection Refillable Compact Foundation Sun Case (Item # 734814). Normally I would just order it, but I’ll be traveling & I leave town on Wednesday and they don’t carry Shiseido in stores, soooo does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions? Maybe it fits in another brand’s compact sold in stores? Any ideas of a temporary holding encasement? I feel like I’m in a bit of a pickle here!
I have a navy dress, silver necklace, pump red shoes and red clutch, blonde hair that will be in a messy bun style with curls, and blue eyes. My friends have suggested smokey eyes with a slight colour on the lips. And some other have suggested the big bold red lips? Please help?
I found a picture of a girl on Pinterest who had on the most beautiful eye makeup on, and I so want to be able to do it myself! The look is on the tenth girl's eyes. (She has on a pink t-shirt.) I was wondering if anyone could tell what she has on?? All help appreciated! (Warning, this picture may move the text around.)
I live in Texas, which means it's super hot all the time. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions on how to look natural and fresh without using pounds of make up? I feel like anytime I look up "natural looks" there's about ten times more products.
I had the MUFE HD foundation in 118 and it's for beige undertones so it was perfect on me... But now i got lighter! And want to get the 117 witch is one shade lighter but that's for yellow undertones... Am i going to look weird? Or do u think it's fine and u don't really have to match your foundation to your undertones... Whats your opinion? btw i can't go test it out myself that's why i'm asking for help... Thanks!
I'm 15 (going to be a sophomore in high school) and I was wondering how much makeup and which shades, brands, etc I should be wearing. Usually I just wear Stila liquid eyeliner, Korres lip butter, and sometimes a little foundation. Should I be wearing blush? Mascara? BB Cream? Eyeshadow? I was thinking about trying a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer for daily use, but I don't know which is better or what brands to try. I have medium brown/green eyes, medium-dark brown hair, and fair/light combination skin. Thanks for any advice!
Does anyone know if Sephora plans to release a Aurora or Belle Disney palette? I have already purchased my Ariel palette, which I am so happy they made, and I'm just dying to know what they plan to release in the future. Any info would be great; thanks!!!
I'm looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that will last all day, wont melt off my face, controls oil(this isn't too important but would be a bonus), and doesn't look too cakey on my skin. Please help me find this! thank you ladies!
