I've been hijacking threads lately with my various color challenges. It's time for it's own place! The rules: Each week (Sunday- Saturday) there will be a new color to incorporate into your makeup looks. It can be one item of that color or a whole face. Try to incorporate it 4-5 times during the week, and post your pic, or discuss your colors here with everyone! If you can only do a day or two, that's fine too! This should be fun! For folks on a No Buy, it's a great way to Shop your collection. I hope you'll join me! *schedule to the end of the year Spoiler (Highlight to read) Nov. 1- 1-7: drugstore week Nov. 8- 14: brown Nov. 15-21: my new things! *give those newer things some love Nov. 22-28: bronze nov. 29-Dec 5: oldies but goodies*give your lesser used items love! dec 6-12: green dec. 13-19: Champagne dec. 20-26: Red Nov. 1- 1-7: drugstore weekNov. 8- 14: brownNov. 15-21: my new things! *give those newer things some loveNov. 22-28: bronze nov. 29-Dec 5: oldies but goodies*give your lesser used items love!dec 6-12: greendec. 13-19: Champagnedec. 20-26: Red
Hey Beauties- We have ALOT of threads around here for Tom Ford products. I figured I'd start one thread where we can update each other on items as they come out or we see them available. For all my UK'ers, or people willing to pay for shipping from the UK, Harrods has Softcore and Nude Dip from the Fall collection available right now. Happy Shopping!
With all of the various threads dedicated to particular brand releases, I thought it would be fun to have one specifically for new and upcoming BITE Beauty. This thread will be for products and collections separate from the Lip Lab Limited Release collection of this calendar year, which can be found over here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Lips/Bite-Lip-Lab- Sephora-color-of-the-month/m-p/1847087#M18730 Upcoming: CYBER MONDAY (NOV 30) Lip Lab Limited Release Set of 12 Crème Deluxe Lipsticks $298 Limited edition set that includes one of each of the LLLR monthly releases from this year Current: (CANADA ONLY) Luminous Crème Lipstick in 'Mauvember' (LE) $28 CAD http://www.sephora.com/luminous-creme-lipstick-mau vember-P404012?skuId=1765106 Luminous Crème Lipsticks in 'Bellini', 'Mimosa', and 'Kir Royale' (LE) $24 http://www.sephora.com/luminous-creme-lipstick-P28 3903 BITE Mix N Mingle Luminous Crème Lipstick Duos (LE) $14 https://www.sephora.com/product/P403441 Best BITE Rewind set of four deluxe Matte Crème Lip Crayons in tin (LE) $25 https://www.sephora.com/product/P401615 BITE Discovery boxed set of BITE bestsellers, including deluxe and full-size items (LE) $55 https://www.sephora.com/product/P401617 BITE Mix N Mingle Luminous Crème Lipstick Duos - new colors! We're excited to announce that for the month of November, we are teaming up with The Movember Foundation with the release of a custom Mauve(ember) shade for sale exclusively in Sephora Canada stores and on Sephora.ca.
Inspired by her Father’s winning battle with prostate cancer, BITE founder, Susanne Langmuir, wanted a fun, easy and meaningful way for women to support the men in their lives facing health issues. Our custom blended mauve shade is a way for women to proudly participate, spark conversation, and ultimately raise funds for men’s health during the month of Movember.
100% of BITE's proceeds from each 100% natural Mauvember lipstick will go directly to The Movember Foundation - the leading global organization committed to changing the face of men’s health. We hope you all #JointheMauvement!

I am looking for a higher end concealer that doesn't crease, looks natural and lasts on oily skin. I have tried a lot of drugstore concealers, and I find that they are too harsh for my sensitive skin and crease way too much.
I already have the Filmstar bronze & glow palette but looking into some of her other products. Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share esp with her Light Wonder Foundation, her blush and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? I'm interested in getting these three things but still on the fence about taking the plunge! Please let me know, many BTers opinions have helped me out on products before Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! I'm NC40 and kinda new to highlighters. I bought Becca's champagne pop and love it. Any recommendations for medium skintone? I prefer sublt non glittery (nothing more than becca). Il love the LM matte radiance... but thats too white for me. Its a beautiful highlight on the cheek though. What are your favouriteS?
For years I have been trying different skin makeup products both drugstore and high end foundations, concealers , moisturizers and powders all claiming to keep oily skin matte and while some did just that it was always at the cost of looking cakey. My skin only needs light coverage products to cover up redness, blemishes and dark circles around my eyes ( and something that keeps my oily t zone mattified). However I have yet to encounter any natural, light coverage products for oily skin that do just this. It seems that the foundations are either too much coverage(don't look natural at all!!), the concealers crease too much and look too cakey under my eyes(and feel dry) or they just drip off my tzone all together(it gets gross).Does anyone else experience this with makeup products and has anyone found any products that work on oily skin but look natural?
Looks like Sephora is the one who will do the collab! I can't wait to see and of course I MUST BUY ALL!!!! The Sephora + Jem and The Holograms Collection will include four items, an eye shadow palette, a liquid lip color set, 80's inspired florescent lipstick and a branded compact mirror. More details on the collection will be releases this summer. The list of branded items also includes four semi-permanent hair dyes by Manic Panic and clothing and accessories by Shopbop Starting in October 2015, Sephora will offer a four-piece Truly Outrageous makeup set inspired by the show’s characters, including a 24-shade eyeshadow palette ($39), a five-piece liquid lip set ($25) a two-sided compact mirror ($18), and Jem’s signature fluorescent pink lipstick, aptly named Truly, Truly Outrageous ($16) I know some of you are SUPER AWESOME at finding things!!! Please post and share with us if you do
hi I'm interested in a nice dewy glow finish for my dry skin. Can anyone suggest any drug store or Sephora makeup setting sprays that will make my makeup last with giving me the dewy glow as well.? I would appreciate suggestions. Looking for an affordable spray that will do the job. Thanks.
I've tried everything for my poor lips -- Chapstick, sugar scrub, Vaseline, Hurraw lip balm, YSL Tint-in-Oil and lip gloss -- but nothing seems to work. They stay chapped and dry year-round, and when the weather turns cold they crack and bleed. It may be something I need to see a dermatologist about, but her waiting list for the first appointment is six months at the moment. Do y'all know of anything I can try that will help? They burn and sting constantly, and it drives me crazy. HELLLLLPPPPP! Thank you in advance.
I want to start anew, I tried looking for recent threads and I couldn't find any. Show us your finds. I believe I found a Guerlain Maxi lash dupe in Almay brand. Here are the pictures and wand comparison. I also applied it to my lashes and my lashes look the same as when I appl y Guerlain (sample I had). My lashes look long and full after one application, as well as natural. Also, they are SOFT, just like with Guerlain. I'll post pictures of my eye in a bit. even though the almay looks more full, it does the same thing guerlain did for me. I definitely say give this one a try unless you can't live without the rosy smell guerlain has the one on the right is with mascara. i removed it on the other side. One thing this mascara claims is that your lashes will grow longer with prolonged use. I for one am willing to t ry this by buying more when this one runs out because i'm actually liking the mascara application.
Quick question: my mom wanted a eye shadow palette focusing in the brown family. I was torn between the Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette and Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics. Which palette would people recommend? Thanks!
On the Bite Beauty thread, we've been recently discussing the transformative effect that Bite Beauty's Opal (comes in lipstick and gloss; both exclusively available at Sephora) has on different shades of lipstick. I would love to see what Opal does to all different brands and colors of lipstick. So, if you have Opal lipstick or gloss, could you please post a "before" picture of your lips with whatever lipstick you choose and then an "after" picture with Opal applied over the top of it? The more colors you want to try, the better! Thank you!!!
Like most girls I've been wearing makeup since jr. highish age and have always struggled finding the correct shade. I'm also very low maintenance and prefer super simple, easy to do makeup, but I've been dealing with severe adult acne and have started using makeup more and more to help cover up and draw attention away from my problem areas. I went to a Sephora store and was color matched as 1R05. I bought the bareMinerals matte foundation in fair and correcting concealer in light 1, which both match my skin wonderfully. I'm wanting to find blush and/or bronzer to do some simple contouring, but am totally lost as to how to choose the correct shade. Please help! Thank you.
I've just recently found out this brand was a thing, and I am really interested in them. But, while I am a sucker for witchy themed makeup (shocking right?) this brand is pretty steeply priced, so I'm afraid of shelling out for something that might end up being a dust catcher. I didn't find many of the reviews for them, though I tend to not really like reviews unless I'm at least passingly familiar with the reviewer anyway. I signed up for their newsletter and they sent me a nice coupon ($10 off $50+ if memory serves) so I will probably end up going for it but I would love to hear what BT has to say about them! (They sure know how to grab attention though don't they?)
In light of being one of the lucky recipients of a very generous gift from Sephora and Touch in Sol, I would like to dedicate a thread to the Korean based brand and it's products. I personally am not familiar with Touch In Sol. I have seen it on the Sephora site and have overlooked it many times due to a lack of familiarity with the brand. I am a blank slate. I'm eager to try it out and see how it compares to other products and try my hardest to give unbiased reviews. Let's face it, they were a gift and I already love that! Please feel free to share about any products you've tried, loved and cherished, or hated and thrown out the window. This is an information sharing thread, not a fan page- Anything goes!
I just got an email showing this limited edition set of three Louboutin lipticks in the original rouge color. The packaging is so pretty, but I don't know if I can justify spending this much on lipsticks ($90 each, plus the pretty packaging). For those who have purchased and have been using the Louboutin lipsticks - are you enjoying them? How's the formulation, compared to Tom Ford lippies, for example? Overall, are these lipsticks worth the price? I know part of the cost goes into the tubes, which in themselves are pieces of artwork. But, that alone is not enough for me to spend $90.
I believe I used too tacky a base for my Too Faced Natural Matte. The eyeshadows seem super powdery and there is a lot of fallout. Would the Neutral Matte be any better- even though some of the shadows are the same and overlap but are the shimmery shades better or do they have the same amount of fallout? I am thinking about exchanging the Matte palette but then again perhaps I need a better primer. I used too tacky a primer which I already know was my mistake and the eyeshadow clumped in places and seemed patchy. Who loves this palette and how do you prefer to use it? Do you find the fallout a turn off?? Thanks <3
With so many users looking for the right product to use on their fair/pale/alabaster skin, I thought it would be great to start a thread specifically for this. Some of the main questions I see have to do with the following: - Foundation/concealer shades - Contouring - Highlighting I'll be posting comparison reviews and photos of everything I can get my hands on with these categories, as well as any others that people would like to inquire about. If you'd like to give input as well, please list the following: - Skin IQ/MAC ID/describe skin tone and undertones - Skin type - Foundation matches (make it clear what is a perfect match if you have one, and what is slightly off) - (optional, but highly helpful) Photos of your skin with and without makeup, swatch comparisons, etc. Please ensure there is proper lighting, with little colour overcast (like fluorescent lighting).
