I'm asian with normal skin. I'm currently using the benefit hoola bronzer. It's pretty light on my skin, so I really have to pack it on. Is there a darker bronzer out there but doesn't look weird on my asian skin.

I absolutely love makeup. I've been doing it for about 4 years now, and I love everything about it. I own mostly drugstore with a few higher end products sprinkled in. As a high school sophomore, I don't have the money on hand to buy expensive products all the time, or to buy a $40 tube of foundation, then hate it, and it's hard to return stuff because I live in a small town, most of my shopping is done online, or in store when I get a chance to go a bigger city near me. So I need some help from experienced beauty lovers who know the ins and outs of high end makeup. What's some of you worth it high end makeup buys? For reference I have oily skin and my main concern is acne, and I like more full coverage products. Thank you so much, have a great day!

The Swatch Board
I have swatches of UD liquid aura compared to Milk holographic supernova.  I really wanted to get the Supernova holographic look with a formula that is lighter to wear.  I found at first swatch they are similar with Milk having a more pigmented swatch.  The UD seemed to far after a couple of hours with the holographic pigment when I tried to strategically apply as a highlight.  As a mix-in it did have a pretty lightening effect that was very natural!

Hi Beautiful People,    I recently decided to overhaul my makeup collection. I've tossed a lot of products and purchased some new and improved items as well. In depot-ing my favorite shadows, I discovered that the Laura Mercier Gilded Rosegold shadow I purchased long ago was not in a pan. (I figured this out after I already broke the case/shell it was in). l am interested in finding something small enough to fit in my small z palette. So, eyeshadow or single blush size. I don't care what brand (or even price) as long as I can find a replacement. I mostly use this on my eyes in the inner corner or as a highlight. Granted, this shadow is probably several years old and should be tossed, but I can't let it go without a replacement.    Let's just say I knew who to turn to in order to find the perfect substitute.    Thank you to everyone,    J

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,   I have purchased the Too Faced Peach Palette and I have a quinceneara coming up for which I want to do my own make up (I am the guest). My sister has the ABH Modern Renaissance palette which I might borrow depending on what look I will go with. I need some advice from all you experts on the type of brushes I need. I have been watching some YouTube videos and some of the artists have soooo many brushes which gets me lost.   Please please help on guiding me to brushes and brands. I have E.L.F. brushes but I heard of Sigma brushes.   Thank you in advance.   Also, how to people put fake eye lashes by themselves?!

I'm considering investing in a Naked palette for every day use; however, I'm not sure which one would be best for me. I'm blonde with hazel eyes and pale/fair skin. I also wear black glasses daily. Right now I'm using the Elf Prism Palette in Sunset as my daily one, but I don't use the darkest shade much. I'm looking to expand my eyeshadow abilities and colors, and it seems like a Naked one is a good way to do it. Thoughts?

DISCUSSION THREAD FOR NARS ORGASM   I bought my first NARS product in 2012/2013, it was the NARS Orgasm blush (ever classic). I remember when I first bought it, and my friends judged me for spending so much money on BLUSH. But I didn't care, I knew it was destiny. It continues to serve me to this day and every time I look at it, I fall in love all over again. Such a rich and beautiful color for so many shades of skin.   With the Spring 2017 NARS orgasm roll out, we now are presented with an Orgasm family. Liquid blush, lipstick, etc... it seems that NARS is re-branding its trademark color and re-franchising the color to many other NARS products. I do love it, because the orgasm color is so beautiful in of itself.    However, my main concern is that.. has the color changed? Has NARS switched the formula on us? I went into Sephora not too long ago to make a swatch against my skin tone and I must say, it is not the same orgasm that I know and love. I'm not adverse to change, but has anyone else noticed it or am I going crazy? I just feel like the new color is more a pop-pink, rather than a soft, natural blush you get when you, uh, ...climax.    Open to any comments or arguments!

I have dry skin and need a foundation that is good for dry skin preferably around 45$.  I like medium to full coverage...any suggestions?  Thank you so much!

Hey!  I find that mixing the Becca backlight priming filter with my foundation helps it blend in for a more skin-like appearance (with a glow).     But does anyone have other recommendations for primers that mix well with their foundations?  I don't mean applied separately but mixed as a foundation cocktail!
Face Q&A
I know, it seems like a long reach. I'm a workaholic, and I work about 16 hours a day usually. I also have shifts all night. Basically, I'm not looking for anything with crazy coverage or glam! Do you guys know any products I can wear during graveyard that will benefit my skin, soak up oils, and maybe last up to 10-12 hours? I'm mostly looking for a primer and a foundation/tinted moisturizer. I am very, very fair with combination skin. Thank you!

My usual primer hasn't been working very well lately so I tried a sample of the NARS and love it! It seems to dry down my eyelids a bit so I was wondering if anyone has used this long term and noticed any skin issues? I wouldn't want to dry out my skin long term to prevent shadow creasing in the short term.   Thanks!

Hello BTers, Any recommendations for a good, slim eyeliner? I prefer gel eyeliners (no pots if possible), but find that most of them are too thick, and so I don't have as much precision.

hi,im looking from a new high coverage foundation with a glow like finish and I can't seem to find a shade thats like gobi by nars in other brands so really my question is there anything like it.

I need recommendations for a concealer. I am 54 with combination skin and some purple on the inside of the under eyes, but no bags. I have fine wrinkles under my eyes and at the corners. No deep creases or dryness (pretty oily this time of year).    Products i I have used this past year (only one is a concealer- so maybe that is part of my problem):    Ole Henriksen Perfect Truth CC Eye Cream - made my eyes itch. Still have half a tube left. Only Ole Henrickson product that has caused me issues.    Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer - Great coverage, but too drying. Still using though. It would be great if I was 21 or even 31.    YSL Touché Eclait Radiance Perfectimg Pen - Was my favorite even though it technically isn't a "concealer". I ran out. Didn't cover my purple as much as I would have liked, but it didn't settle into my fine lines and it did make my eyes look more awake. I pretty much went to this instead of the Kat Von D until I ran out.   Help! TIA!

Hey everyone! Ever since I saw this makeup posted on Instagram, I fell in love. Olivia Munn looks BEAUTIFUL!   I'm hoping someone could suggest some products to recreate this- mostly the lipstick and blush though. And maybe the eyes as well. I'm sad and slightly annoyed that the artist is ignoring everyones pleas about the makeup and what he used on her. Seriously, so many people have asked but he hasn't responded, yet has continued to post new looks every other artist I know posts the products along with the look.   Anyways, thanks ahead of time everyone   PS sorry accidentally posted in Acne!
Lips
I am a HUGE fan of the Fresh Rose Lip treatment. I love the sheer color it has and it's so moisturizing! And I just came across the No Lipstick Lipstick from Perricone MD, so I'm very very tempted to buy it. I have a TON of lip products, but I find myself always in the market for an everyday go to lip product. I need something that is not really heavy on the lips like lipstick. I do have Bite Beauty's Chai lipstick and it's so gorgeous but I think it's too much for a simple look. Do you guys have an everyday lip product that you go to for a simple lip?
