I have had the issue with my foundation oxidizing and i have been on the search for a good silicone based primer but can't find one that works im wondering what are some of your favorite silicone based primers?!
I know this foundation is a drug store foundation but i'm really confused about whether its silicone based or water based? so I decided to reach out to this very lovely community to ask for help haha. If anybody knows if this foundation is water or silicone based please let me know! xoxo
I'm looking for something to add to my makeup to help illuminate my skin. My skin tone is fair/medium and I have a lot of freckles on my cheeks, so I have to be careful what I put on or else my makeup will look too 'caked on' or 'powdery'. I just want something lightweight that will add a natural glow/brightening effect to my look.
What's the difference exactly? I think I've been using the cream liner but as much as I love love loooove it at first, it dries up SO FAST! I've tried Urban Decay Super Saturated Cream Eyeliner and the It Cosmetics Liner Love. Both dried up on me with at least 1/2 the pot still full Any product suggestions for me?
Hi everyone! So I reallly want to buy a new waterproof mascara but I just can't decide on one. I want the mascara to be not clumpy, lengthening and volumising. Tell me what works for you. Thank you all in advance
Any theatre performers here? I will be in the play(for the first time) at our community theatre here and I will be playing a townsperson in The Music Man. I'd love to hear your recommendation or tutorials on how to do a stage makeup.
Recently Jaclyn Hill did a Ride of Die Tag video of her favorite "ride of die" makeup products and Tagged a bunch of YouTuber's to do the same! I thought it would be fun to share our absolute Ride of Die products and tell us why. Mine are: Tom Ford Traceless Foundation: Hands down the best foundation I've used. It doesn't budge on me and it absolutely doesn't oxidize. YSL Touche Eclat Souffle Powder: This is a little known loose powder. I've had it for almost 2 years and use it to set my Tzone. It is like airbrush on my face. Tom Ford Concealing Pen: The best liquid pen concealer I've used ever. The formula is so smooth and doesn't crease. ABH Clear Brow Gel: For some reason I've not liked anything from ABH, but her brow gel is the best. I've tried so many other ones and none compare to ABH. Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara: Love, Love, Love the way my lashes look with this! Fanned out and voluminous! Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick- Stoned Rose: Stoned Rose dethroned my beloved Negligee from Tom Ford because of shelf live. The color and formula are the perfect everyday rose for me. I can wear it with anything.

If i have light to medium skin tone and have pink and yellow undertones, love natural looking skin, have combination skin, don't want it cakey looking, and is known not to cause too bad or no breakouts, which foundation would be good for me?
It's Christmas in August! I just received a message from a BT admin advising that IT Cosmetics is officially coming to Sephora. I was advised that I would be receiving two complimentary products from their line to try. *happy dance* I can't tell you how excited I am. I've loved this line since I was first introduced to it from The Shopping Channel. Jamie (creator) works with physicians and plastic surgeons to create products that are fantastic for your skin. I haven't come across a product I haven't liked. I'm really happy to see the brand gaining popularity and the recognition it deserves. Who else is pumped?!
Hi Beauty Talkers! We're delighted to welcome the newest addition to our multitasking makeup essential family, Wanderlust Powder Foundation. We’re so excited to share our journey in creating this product. Why powder foundation? Co-founder Divya Gugnani: Pretty much immediately after we launched our Flash Focus Hydrating Foundation we got calls, emails, social media posts, and a barrage of inquiries about when we would have a powder foundation. A powder foundation? I didn’t get it. I hadn’t used powder foundation on my face since I was 16 and struggling with t-zone issues and teenage acne. But Lindsay was a believer…. Co-founder Lindsay Ellingson: I've always used powder foundation to mask my hyperpigmentation which, for me, is caused by melasma. I've struggled with it for years. When we launched Wander Beauty it became my mission to develop a talc-free powder that would cover imperfections without looking cakey, my goal was to create a powder foundation that actually looks like skin! But really, is it full coverage? LE: The first thing you will notice about our powder is the luxurious ultra-fine feel which translates to the most natural looking, flawless complexion. It's so lightweight on your skin but highly pigmented so it doesn't feel like a mask. One swipe of our foundation and my pigmentation is covered. Our goal is to enhance your natural beauty not cover it! But is it a multitasker? Is it an essential? DG: At Wander Beauty we focus on creating multitasking makeup essentials and for real this is... Any special ingredients? LE: We knew we wanted to make it talc-free so it wouldn’t look ashy or give a white cast in photos. We also enriched it with our favorite skin-loving ingredients from around the globe: Aloe Leaf Extract (Korea) – moisturizes skin and restores suppleness Hibiscus Flower Extract (France) – evens skin tone, increases elasticity, and protects against free radical damage Honeysuckle Flower Extract (Korea) – has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties Jojoba Esters (United States) – promotes skin healing with antimicrobial properties Safflower Flower Extract (Korea) – contains linoleic acid to unclog pores and stimulate regeneration of new cells What about the applicator? DG: I can’t stand dirty, makeup-filled sponges that break apart. So, we created an antimicrobial rubicell sponge in Korea that deposits our silky powder evenly for full coverage. It’s reusable and easy to wash with antibacterial soap and water. How do you wear it? DG: I wear Wanderlust in Medium on clean moisturized skin on days when I have meetings from morning to night or when I have a big event. It lasts till I take it off and gives me coverage while still looking natural. It’s my skin, only with an airbrushed filter ;-) LE: I like to wear Wanderlust in Light as a finishing powder over our Flash Focus Hydrating Foundation stick. It's gives me just the right amount of coverage with a radiant finish. The great thing about our powder is that it's so versatile, it looks just as great as a foundation on its own for a more matte finish. I'm working on improving my eye makeup, and I think it's time to invest in some good brushes. However, I have no idea where to begin. I don't do a ton of makeup: eye shadow, bottom eyeliner, and mascara. Right now I'm using some generic shade, blend, smudge, and crease brushes, but I want to start building my collection with some quality products that will last. Are purchasing the individual $20-ish brushes worth it? Or is it more economical to buy a set? I'm okay with purchasing the more expensive ones if they are truly of good quality and will last me for a decently long time. Also, what brushes are essential for a good eye makeup collection? Thank you everyone!
