Hi ladies! In about a week and a half, I will be going on a trip to New Zealand for two weeks. I'm super excited Obviously I cannot carry all my skincare and liquid foundation etc. in their original containers, so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for travel-size bottles and containers? The Sephora brand sets don't have such great reviews unfortunately
i'm looking for a good brow product that will fill in my eyebrows and last all day without fading. some people use multiple products to get this result but i only want to have to have 1 product thats quick, easy and effective. any reccomendations?
Have you guys seen these?! There are tons of shades and finishes to choose from, and you can build your own palette! I can't wait to try these; I wonder if Sephora will carry all of the shades? There are so many and I'd really like to go in and test a good chunk of them. http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1622745
So I have really oily eyelids. Yeah, I know gross. I've tried a few eyeliners in the past, and I do love them but they never last. I've tried drugstore and some higher brands. Examples: 1) Stila - it started to flake after the first few hours 2) Kat von D Tattoo Liner- Love but doesn't last more than 4 hours.. it fades 3) Maybelline Gel liner- it stayed but wasn't waterproof and smudged when i cried... yikes 4) Mac kohl liner in feline- smudged everywhere! pretty much a nightmare I'm not looking for a pencil.. I'm in more preference of liquid... maybe gel. I was thinking perhaps Marc Jacobs liquid liner, Benefit Push Up Liner, or even Tarte Gel Pot. I know its sort of splurge buys but I just don't know anymore. Please, any suggestions? A bit of more information. I like to do small wings and thats basically my makeup for the day. I wear it all day every day. So something that is smudgeproof and waterproof is a must!
Title is self explanatory and give specific palettes/colors if you want!! I really want to get my hands on Tarte's Rainforest after Dark (or whatever the name is)- it's so beautiful! But I just don't think it's happening right now have basically spent so much money and I'm feeling to guilty to put in an order just yet.
Hi beauties!!! I need your help finding a bronzer. Throughout the year, my skintone is light, and I wear UD's Naked Skin in 3.5 (or ED DW in Fresco, NW20, L'Oreal true match C3) for reference. In the summer, I get quite a bit tanner and all my foundations become too light for my skin. I try to mix these shades with darker ones I have, but they still end up being too light to match my body. My face is also lighter than my body because I exfoliate it. I don't want to buy a darker foundation, as I switch up what foundations I use daily, and I don't want to be limited to 1 foundation. I've been trying different bronzers to lightly use all over my face to warm up my complexion and darken my face a bit to match my body, but I haven't had any luck finding one that is dark enough/looks natural. I've tried: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil - doesn't seem to have any effect at making my face any darker? I have the regular and not the milk chocolate, but it just doesn't seem to be dark enough or something... NYC Sunny - way too orange Benefit Hoola - good to contour, not good for allover my face, as it makes me look muddy Nars Laguna - similar to my issue with chocolate soleil, it doesn't seem to do all that much to warm up my face, unless I'm contouring I've tried a few others from Wet n Wild and Physician's formula and haven't had anything that I've liked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Had this foundation for about a year and the packaging finally broke on me and the cap ALWAYS is so loose and ALWAYS falls off. Especially, in travel. However, I LOVE this foundation and I've never had a truer color match. Anyone buy a bottle recently and have trouble with the cap?
Please tell me Sephora will have them soon. Charlotte is a red to die for, and Jeanne and Ingrid are also at the top of my list. Can't wait! Hoping Sephora also has the NARS fall collection soon. The new Satin Lip pencils are already in stock, (cranberry and rose brown, I forget the names), but Jardin Perdu where are you? Waiting on pins and needles!!!
I swear, I tried a million eye make up removers and techniques, and I usually wear non-waterproof mascara because they are easier to remove, but I feel like I always have to tug the delicate skin around my eyes, and I know it's not good! I started noticing fine lines under my eyes, so I want to be more careful now! What are your tips? I usually soak to cotton pads with Bioderma, and leave them on my closed eyelids for 10-15 seconds, and then wipe, but I still wake up with black rings around my eyes. HELP!!
I'm looking to lighten up my makeup bag and save time. I've always hated having to put on a liquid, then a concealer, and then powder, and so on so I'm looking for an all-in-one foundation that will even me out and cover up some redness that I have. I'm guessing that's what medium or full coverage foundations are for? Could really use some help on this!
So school is soon approaching and I am going to be starting my masters degree in Epidemiology (excited yet scared)! Anyways, I am certain that I am going to be very busy and will only be able to go to the gym between class breaks or before class starts. Other than that, I will be researching, with clients, or TAing. My question is, do you or should you go to the gym with makeup on? If you do, what do you do with your face afterwards? Obviously I do not want to reapply my makeup on a sweaty face and if I shower, I would have to start my whole skincare regime again followed by makeup (which takes quite a long time). In addition, I would be in a male locker room and could you imagine what those "gym jocks" would think if they saw me doing my routine ... oh please (I hate when people judge). Any tips, advice or suggestion would be great to hear! Definitely let me know, thank you so much in advance! Michael, xo

The Kat Von D Foundation only lists descriptions from the original shades, not the new crop. I have fair skin with yellow undertones, and the Light 45 is slightly too pale. On the yellow spectrum, which color is next? I've compared and peered and sampled, and I'm flummoxed.
Hi dolls, Another palette from ABH?! I'M IN LOVE. The beautiful mayamia (on youtube and instagram) collaborated with them AGAIN to create this gorgeous palette. I'm so excited <3 P.S The Contour book will also be avail in January for anyone interested.
Everybody loves a Winged liner, but achieving the look can be somewhat challenging. The perfect product for beginners is Benefits They're Real liner, you are able to get a smooth line every Time. Another favorite of mine is Kat Von D Tattoo liner, the fine tip brush applicator creates fine precise line the color payoff with waterproof setting is an added bonus. What are your Favorite eyeliners? Why? Tips or tricks?
Here's the first Sneak Peek for the September Ipsy Bag: I actually unsubscribed last month which is a little surprising because I was a fan of the products I received in August but with holiday sets/collections coming soon I've decided that I would rather put my money there. For all of those still subscribed enjoy!
I love a guy who knows his skincare and makeup, and you guys certainly know your stuff! I'm really curious to know - what got you so interested? Were you encouraged by anyone or did you discover it all yourselves? Do people notice when you wear makeup? Do you get hassled about it? Do you get positive comments? I think it's great that you are here. I'd love to know how you got here, if you don't mind my asking. Girls are marketed to from practically infancy about beauty products - guys not so much! So, how did it all start for you guys?
Hello! I have a question I am sure is asked a lot. I am having trouble finding a foundation, well kind of. I was matched in store for MUFE Mat Velvet+ in No. 20 Ivory. I do really like this foundation but since its summer I went back in to find something a bit lighter looking and a more natural finish. (I have Combo Skin that gets oily through the day on the forehead). I was matched with the tool they have now and was told I was 2Y04. Well now I am really lost, how do I know what color I am and how do I go about finding a shade for me with out having to go and try them all on and not get pushed into one I don't really like. When I go to find my color matches through the foundation I already have it comes up with 1R03 and a totally different set of colors. Now I have also gotten my hands on MUFE HD in 115 Ivory and it also looks good on me. So If you can help me out I would much appreciate it.
