Hi, I am 12. I always watch juicystar07 and allthatglitters21 on youtube. They have inspired me so much to make a beauty guru channel, but am I too young? I also watch addicted2toofaced, and she is pretty young. I dont know also how to ask my mom and how to tell my friends. Please give me some advice, it would be so helpful! Thanks!
I absolutely love makeup. I've been doing it for about 4 years now, and I love everything about it. I own mostly drugstore with a few higher end products sprinkled in. As a high school sophomore, I don't have the money on hand to buy expensive products all the time, or to buy a $40 tube of foundation, then hate it, and it's hard to return stuff because I live in a small town, most of my shopping is done online, or in store when I get a chance to go a bigger city near me. So I need some help from experienced beauty lovers who know the ins and outs of high end makeup. What's some of you worth it high end makeup buys? For reference I have oily skin and my main concern is acne, and I like more full coverage products. Thank you so much, have a great day!
so i LOVE tha falsies mascara from maybelline ( i use the waterproof one, for curl hold ) and was wondering if there are any mascaras similar to it drugstore, highend, stocked in sephora...in dr. who's tardis ( seriously, does anyone else watch that show... tell me it's not just me) wherever. and prefrbly waterproof, i've never liked a non-waterproof mascara. p.s. merry almost christmas! or new years, or hannakuah, or whatever you celebrate! <3 :0
I know, it seems like a long reach. I'm a workaholic, and I work about 16 hours a day usually. I also have shifts all night. Basically, I'm not looking for anything with crazy coverage or glam! Do you guys know any products I can wear during graveyard that will benefit my skin, soak up oils, and maybe last up to 10-12 hours? I'm mostly looking for a primer and a foundation/tinted moisturizer. I am very, very fair with combination skin. Thank you!
I am interested in buying an eye palette for everyday makeup looks and I'm trying to figure out what to buy next. I already bought the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette so that's out. Information about me is that I have green eyes and my skin tone is light to median.
Which of the following is the best liquid foundation for oily skin? I say liquid because I tried Bare Minerals and don't like it, I also tried Make Up Forever Mat Velvet and it did not make my skin matte at all! Lancome TEINT IDOLE ULTRA - Enduringly Divine & Comfortable Makeup 14-Hour Retouch-Free, Oil-Free Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation NARS Sheer Matte Foundation MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 Let me know if anyone with oily skin has tried any of these and what is the best recommendation. I am also open to other foundations I may have missed that are also good. Thanks!
What is the best concealer for asian indian under eye dark circles that will not be drawn into the tiny wrinkles? I have attempted many though unable to achieve the desired, natural, well rested look without looking like I have risen from the dead....please help! Thanks, shaila
I am wondering what people think as the best concealer for blemishes. I don't like ones with salicylic acid. I was using shape tape and the nars soft matte but both are too pink in my shade and doesn't fully cover. Any suggestions?
I went to Sephora today to sample a few foundations: -Makeup Forever Mat Velvet Plus and -Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation But, the sales associate pointed me towards a few other foundations as well. -Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation -Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation and -Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation So, now I'm confused!!! Which one should I purchase in the full size?? To help you out, I have combination skin, slightly more dry than oily. My skin is only gets oily when I get hot. My skin is also acne prone, and in need of a full coverage foundation. If the foundation isn't completely full coverage, then I'd need an additional concealer. Which one of these foundations is not too mattifying/ works well with slightly dry skin, stays put, and doesn't break out or irritate the skin? Thanks
One of my eyebrows is higher than the other and also a different shape - much more arched whereas the other is more straight. Every time I go to get my eyebrows threaded, they can never do much about it. But when I fill them in, it's so obvious, especially in photos! I don't know what to do - any ideas? (I use ABH dipbrow, but any suggestions are great)
I was sooo disappointed to find out that Dior had discontinued their Extase line of mascara and need a good alternative. Tried Better than Sex, Rollerlash, They're Real (different but better than the others), Diorshow, ect but haven't found one that lives up to Extase. Your suggestions are appreciated- thank you.
In the summer my face tends to tan better than my chest and im not sure what type of makeup i should use on my chest to match my face. Its hard because i have freckles so i never use any face makeup (only stuff for my eyes/lips).
I'm wearing a navy blue dress and I'm using the Modern Renaissance palette for my eyes. I have very pale neutral-toned skin, blue eyes, and very dark brown hair. I would really like something that doesn't need to be reapplied to often and doesn't look super weird when it wears off.
as much as i love maybeline's mascaras, they smudge and flake like crazy. i need something that lengthens and separates (like maybeline's one by one) and keeps my long lashes from falling down over my eyes. most importantly i need something that doesn't give me raccoon eyes. p.s. i've tried hypnose, it burns like crazy. i guess my eyes are sensitive too.
I recently read that cornstarch can aggravate acne. I also read that talc is a known carcinogen. I am currently using Nars blush but I keep breaking out only where I apply it...I want to try something new but I can't seem to find any blush that does not have these 2 ingredients! please help.
I am looking for recommendations for an Asian bridal make-up and hair artist in the San Gabriel Valley, CA area (especially in Pasadena, Alhambra, San Gabriel) to do fresh, natural (not over-done) Asian makeup for my wedding day. I am hoping to spend $300 or so (including wedding hair/make-up and trial hair/make-up) to find an artist who is professional and well-reviewed. I also need an artist who has a studio or salon at which to meet since I don't want to have my hair/make-up done at my house or at the venue. Please message me if you've worked with an artist, and can highly recommend them. I'd prefer artists who work with a lot of Asian brides (some make-up artists struggle with Asian eye makeup), and who can do both hair and make-up. I am attaching pictures of the type of natural Asian make-up look that I'm going for. I
I want to get my makeup done for prom at Sephora and I have a few questions. If you've ever gone your makeup done here, what was your experience? Did you like the makeup? How long will it take? I'm also getting my hair done by a family friend before. I want to make sure I have plenty of time. Prom starts at 7 but we're also going to eat and take pictures, I've never been to prom before so I have no idea how long this takes. Any idea what time I should make my appointment? I'm also going to the mall tomorrow anyway and should I just make my appointment while I'm there, or would it be better to call? Any other tips/comments? Thanks!
I do have sensitive, acne prone skin, I want something that makes me look'alive' and covers on days i have a break out yet be natural and i can use it as a canvas for my face(to build up and go out )... Found ation? BB cream? .. I do have dry skin too and today I got the Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector, but it said online its for combination skin? It would be great if it had an SPF too! Please Advice!
I'm trying to justify spending the $ for a mid to high end TM I haven't worn a foundation, TM, BB cream or really any kind of facial tinting product in about 7 years so I don't remember how long bottles/tubes usually last. What kind of TM do you use, how many days a week do you use it and about how long does it last you?
So I've for a long time been looking for the perfect bronzer, and I've put it down to two bronzers, that I have to chose between. I'm asian with medium/olive skin tone, and I don't really have any skin problems. So I want to ask you, which one do you like better and why? Or if you only have one of them, why do you like or dislike the product?
Okay my face overall is pretty light/pale in color, but uh.. years of sun damage on my lower face has made my mouth area slightly darker. But my neck is pale so it looks super weird if I try to match the rest of my face to the color of my chin/mouth area. But if I wear a lighter foundation to match my neck and other areas on my face, the chin/mouth area looks really ashy and grey. I thought maybe color correcting can help me, to wear them underneath my foundation. But I have no idea which color works for brightening a big area of dark patches? The color isn't blue/purple/yellow anything, although I guess it falls under the category of "sallowness", but I've tried lavender colors before and it just makes the area look even more ashy and unattractive. Any ideas? Would orange work? I thought orange was for the green/blue like, for undereyes and such.
