Hi! I'm 13 years old and I'm allowed to wear concealer, blush and lip products. I want to start wearing a little mascara too, but I'm not sure how to ask my mom! I've never asked about this sort of thing before and don't want it to be awkward!! The mascara I want to wear is clinques naturally glossy mascara in jet brown. About as natural as it gets!
For all ladies who are waiting for Kat von D, I went to JCP Sephora to pick up the Vice 3 palette and lo and behold Kat von D's Holiday sets were out! I was completely surprised and excited to get them coz they were not even out online or Sephora store yet but here's a quick look at them on display. The lady told me they just got them in yesterday. I'll take better pics when I get them home.
I want this colour from Julep (May 2014) so badly, but it always shows up as out of stock. It is described as a "g olden pink taffeta shimmer ". I have tried Nars's nail polish in Orgasm, but it was too peachy/orange vs pink. Does anyone know of a dupe, or suggest colours to be layered for a similar effect?

There are a couple more not linked like a deluxe size foundation and stuff! Sorry if this was already posted!
Hi I have been thinking about spoiling myself with a lip product from YSL, but I don't even know where to begin! I really want some recommendations on what you lovelies find yourselves wearing the most often! What lip product and color would you recommend!! All opinions, pictures and swatches are welcome!!
i just saw a commercial for Manga Mascara! It looks so neat to be able to do, and before now, I didn't even think to do my lashes that way. Has this always existed and I just didn't know? Has as anyone done this before, with or without manga "mascara?"
I thought this would be an interesting challenge as well as difficult, but also help you discover creative ways and/or using up something you feel guilty of buying but never using. I'm a bit of an impulse buyer when it comes to eyeshadows. I have several palettes but I usuall end up just using the same one or switch it up with another commonly used in my collection and I thought that should stop. Recently I've been good about rotating palettes but it still doesn't get much use that makes me happy I bought it. At first I thought "a month should do it" but I know not even I would be able to keep that promise. The challenge is this. To pick a product that you haven't really got much use out of, and use it for an entire week. So an example would be "I haven't used much of the Kat von D sinner palette so I'll use it for a week now." Here's a loophole to this. You pick your item but you can still use other shadows from other things, the point is that the item you've picked has to be in your daily look. It doesn't have to be palettes or singles only as long as you pick the item and stick to it for a whole week. That way we won't feel so guilty about not using it so much. The item that I will be picking will be the Kat von D Monarch palette. I use it every once in a while but I haven't for 7 consecutive days. So starting this Sunday, that palette will be part of my every day routine until Saturday. Summary: It doesn't have to be a palette, it can be a single eyeshadow. It doesn't have to be eye shadow, it can be a lippie, blush, or mascara. *edited to add foundation to the list* Yes, you can mix it with other products but this will be the item you won't leave behind in your daily routine for the 7 consecutive days. You don't have to post a picture of yourself if you don't want to, but if you want to take a picture of your item of choice, you can, and if you want. All you have to say to yourself is I can commit, I can accept, and I succeeded!
So I was watching a youtube video of Vintageortacky and when I saw her Charlotte Tilbury blush, my jaw dropped. I had my eye on the YSL peachy one but .. this... just beats it, and can I say cute packaging? I wasn't going to jump on the CT bandwagon, but according to Cora this gives a nice natural peachy touch.. yep. This blush is called Ecstacy. And this one is the one Cora used called First Love.
So i got color matched by Sephora through their color IQ system. I was emailed my color (4Y07) along with the shade I would be in a handful of products. However, the shade that I would be in Bareminerals Ready foundation powder was not included. How do I see what shades Iam in other brands?
Hey guys! I am a 17 year old girl with very oily, acne prone skin. I find that my makeup usually looks great in the morning, but by the afternoon is extremely oily and splotchy. I need a great primer, foundation, and concealer option which will stay all day. I am a teenager, though, and don't want my skin to looked caked in makeup. I would like the foundation/ bb cream to be natural looking. Thanks!
I love Lancome's Teint Idole but the shade that I was matched with a year ago isn't quite right. The shade is 140 Iviore. There is one lighter shade, but there is no description of what the difference is. Does anyone know? It seems like this one has a yellow undertone and I am more neutral.
So Anastasia just released a new eyeshadow palette in collaboration with an amazing MUA/beauty blogger by the name of Amra Olevic aka "Amrezy" on Instagram. This collaboration took 8 months to create and is Anastasia's very first official partnership with a MUA. It is $29 dollars for 10 shades and this palette can only be purchased at the ABH website and in Ulta stores starting Monday. Some Ulta stores have it already. I am planning on purchasing it so if anyone wants swatches just let me know.
Ok so, I have a really hard time finding a foundation that looks natural on my face, I have really fair skin , but my cheeks and chin are always extremely red , while the rest of my face is pretty pale, I have yet to find a foundation that can cover the redness and basically make my face look natural and one color. It usually looks slightly orangey or just way too light. Any suggestions on what I can use to fix this never ending issue of mine?
I posted a previous post about starting a traveling box with samples and deluxe samples and a few ladies were interested in doing one! This is the 1st traveling box I am apart of and of course the 1st that I am starting. So, we need to decide if we are going to do a medium or small flat rate box. RULES No used items. No open items DO NOT take more than you put in. Let's keep this fun and fair DO NOT take multiples of the same sample PLEASE try not to keep the box more than 3 days Make sure to send your address to the person listed above you Once you send the box off, post the tracking number in this thread ALL unused items allowed (well maybe not nail polishes if it will make the shipping costs go up) Post a pic of what you take out, what you put in and what is left in the box before you send it off We are going to have fun and try to keep this going as long as we can! If you are interested in being in the box, I have a few spots left so post a pic of what samples you have in this thread to be added. To start off, we are only going to have 10 people! 1. CuriousCannibal 2. MegEm 3.MLLECC 4. tessie84 5. Kittichick 6. NicoleFrat 7. NightKnight 8. Sweetxteeth 9. Nishcakes 10. Kariyava
I have been struggling this summer with a rather large list of allergies and eliminating them from my life style. Now that my current foundation is running out - I am forced to look for something I am not allergic to! Anything out there?! Foundation/powder for oily skin?
I'm looking for a felt tipped liquid eyeliner that isn't an intense black color. I've been using Maybelline's line stiletto for a while and I've noticed that when it starts to run out it gets fainter, which I actually think looks better. All the grey liners I've seen looked too light and I don't like brown liquid eyeliner. Does anyone know of a liquid eyeliner that's something like a charcoal black instead of just black black? Thanks!
So I was on YouTube tonight and watched a video where Wayne Goss recommended adding food dye to your concealer to make a color correcting product. Ummmm say what? Is it just me or is it crazy to consider putting food dye on your under eye area? He shows putting concealer on the back of his hand and mixing it with red or orange food dye. This doesn't seem like a wise idea to me. Lately I've been feeling like Wayne isn't quite as honest and a straight shooter as he used to be. I feel like he's catering a little too much to third parties *cough* Jaclyn Hill Gerard Cosmetics. I also noticed his tags in this concealer video were a little crazy: kim kardashain flour bombed kim kardashian song kim kardashian makeup kim kardashian punk'd kim kardashian interview kim kardashian hair tutorial kim kardashian makeup tutorial kim kardashian hot 97 kim kardashian and kanye west kim kardashian dancing with the stars Not sure what Kim Kardashian has to do with putting food dye on your face! Hehehe I think Wayne generally has some great tips and tricks. But his tags and his titles are a little sensational. Like "THIS FOUNDATION TRICK WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!" I feel like he uses the titles and tags just to get more views and it annoys me. I still love Wayne and think he's generally pretty fabulous. But I just don't feel like I can trust him as much as I used to. Is it just me?
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me...I'm looking for a long wear lipstick, I recently purchased the sephora brand for 13$ because it said it was long wear, I noticed the other day when i went out to eat and wiped my mouth the lipstick came off and by the end of the meal it was all off.. not long wear at all. I was wondering if anyone knew a good long wear lipstick that wont smear and stays put throughout the day during meals drinks etc...preferably looking for a red and a light pink. If anyone can shoot some suggestions for a reasonable price I would highly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Have you guys seen these?! There are tons of shades and finishes to choose from, and you can build your own palette! I can't wait to try these; I wonder if Sephora will carry all of the shades? There are so many and I'd really like to go in and test a good chunk of them. http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1622745
