Ok so I have looked up reviews and some people like this and others don't. A lot of people are really helpful on here. Is this stuff really worth it? I don't wanna waste my money if I don't like it :/

Everybody loves a Winged liner, but achieving the look can be somewhat challenging. The perfect product for beginners is Benefits They're Real liner, you are able to get a smooth line every Time. Another favorite of mine is Kat Von D Tattoo liner, the fine tip brush applicator creates fine precise line the color payoff with waterproof setting is an added bonus.  What are your Favorite eyeliners? Why? Tips or tricks?

Here's the first Sneak Peek for the September Ipsy Bag:   I actually unsubscribed last month which is a little surprising because I was a fan of the products I received in August but with holiday sets/collections coming soon I've decided that I would rather put my money there.   For all of those still subscribed enjoy!

I have the Laura Mercier pressed powder bronzer Golden Bronze. What is the equivalent product?

I love a guy who knows his skincare and makeup, and you guys certainly know your stuff!  I'm really curious to know - what got you so interested?  Were you encouraged by anyone or did you discover it all yourselves?  Do people notice when you wear makeup?  Do you get hassled about it?  Do you get positive comments?   I think it's great that you are here.  I'd love to know how you got here, if you don't mind my asking.  Girls are marketed to from practically infancy about beauty products - guys not so much!  So, how did it all start for you guys?

Hello! I have a question I am sure is asked a lot. I am having trouble finding a foundation, well kind of. I was matched in store for MUFE Mat Velvet+ in No. 20 Ivory. I do really like this foundation but since its summer I went back in to find something a bit lighter looking and a more natural finish. (I have Combo Skin that gets oily through the day on the forehead). I was matched with the tool they have now and was told I was 2Y04. Well now I am really lost, how do I know what color I am and how do I go about finding a shade for me with out having to go and try them all on and not get pushed into one I don't really like. When I go to find my color matches through the foundation I already have it comes up with 1R03 and a totally different set of colors. Now I have also gotten my hands on MUFE HD in 115 Ivory and it also looks good on me. So If you can help me out I would much appreciate it.

Manuka Honey enriched pigments - that are suppose to be organic, this sounds very interesting.   This is a new product I just saw on Sephora's site !!! http://www.sephora.com/modster-manuka-honey-enrich ed-pigments-P387690?skuId=1619790   I wonder if it also smells like honey??   What are your thought's ladies and gents?

Last Friday I had the opportunity to go to the Bite Beauty event at my local Sephora (Les Ailes (Ste-Catherine), Montréal) and had the opportunity to create my own bespoke lipstick shade.    It was definitely my favourite Sephora event to date!   They transformed a corner of the store into a mix between a candy shop and a chemistry lab, and I was given the occasion to sit down with the super lovely and helpful Sarah from Bite to create the lipstick I always wish existed!  Not only did I get to create the exact shade I wanted, I was also able to choose the finish, and essential oil scent.     I know they do the same thing at their lab in NYC.. Has anyone else had the opportunity to create their own Bite lipstick either at the lab or at an event in their store? I'd love to see the shades you created!

Hi beauties!!!   I need your help finding a bronzer. Throughout the year, my skintone is light, and I wear UD's Naked Skin in 3.5 (or ED DW in Fresco, NW20, L'Oreal true match C3) for reference. In the summer, I get quite a bit tanner and all my foundations become too light for my skin. I try to mix these shades with darker ones I have, but they still end up being too light to match my body. My face is also lighter than my body because I exfoliate it.   I don't want to buy a darker foundation, as I switch up what foundations I use daily, and I don't want to be limited to 1 foundation. I've been trying different bronzers to lightly use all over my face to warm up my complexion and darken my face a bit to match my body, but I haven't had any luck finding one that is dark enough/looks natural.    I've tried: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil - doesn't seem to have any effect at making my face any darker? I have the regular and not the milk chocolate, but it just doesn't seem to be dark enough or something...  NYC Sunny - way too orange Benefit Hoola - good to contour, not good for allover my face, as it makes me look muddy Nars Laguna - similar to my issue with chocolate soleil, it doesn't seem to do all that much to warm up my face, unless I'm contouring   I've tried a few others from Wet n Wild and Physician's formula and haven't had anything that I've liked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Face
I was looking on the Ulta website and saw a new BECCA pressed powder shimmering skin perfector in champagne gold. I wondered if anyone has seen swatches of this. I already have Moonstone, Opal and Rose Gold so the question is do I need it?? LOL...of course. But I was really wondering how different it is from Moonstone. I'm not sure how to link a picture but you can find it on Ulta or the BECCA website. It says it's limited edition (ha ha, so was rose gold) and it has the same stamping on it as the holiday rose gold had on it.

I swear, I tried a million eye make up removers and techniques, and I usually wear non-waterproof mascara because they are easier to remove, but I feel like I always have to tug the delicate skin around my eyes, and I know it's not good! I started noticing fine lines under my eyes, so I want to be more careful now! What are your tips? I usually soak to cotton pads with Bioderma, and leave them on my closed eyelids for 10-15 seconds, and then wipe, but I still wake up with black rings around my eyes. HELP!!

I am debating on switching my makeup routine if there is makeup more suitable for my skin type.   Throughout the day I get an oily t-zone, and I have acne prone skin (majority of it on my chin and around my mouth area).    I prime with Cover FX mattifying primer (doesn't seem to do its justice for me), I use Kat Von D lock-it tattoo foundation, which I LOVE the coverage with that due to my acne and lots of hyper-pigmentation. I then use **bleep** full cover concealer to cover any imperfections, I just use a revlon pressed powder, rimmel bronzer and revlon blush. I then use Urban Decays de-slick setting spray.   Could anyone make an suggestions on products I need to swap out, or entirely new makeup routine that is more suitable for acne.   Thank you!

Does anyone know the eye make-up used on the "Inspire me" icon picture? Of the girl with the gorgeous purple smokey eye? I am dying to know the products,so I can re-create that look.

In my late 20's, I have finally come to the point in my life where I feel like I should be wearing makeup on a regular basis, but I have no idea what to start with. I am not looking to blow the budget but I am looking to experiment with some looks.   About me: Blond hair, blue eyes, pink undertones in skin. Looking for a natural look that can cover up dark circles under my eyes. Maybe with a little smokey eye. I need something that can be done quickly. Can anyone help?

I posted a previous post about starting a traveling box with samples and deluxe samples and a few ladies were interested in doing one!  This is the 1st traveling box I am apart of and of course the 1st that I am starting.   So, we need to decide if we are going to do a medium or small flat rate box.     RULES  No used items.  No open items  DO NOT take more than you put in.  Let's keep this fun and fair  DO NOT take multiples of the same sample  PLEASE try not to keep the box more than 3 days  Make sure to send your address to the person listed above you  Once you send the box off, post the tracking number in this thread  ALL unused items allowed (well maybe not nail polishes if it will make the shipping costs go up)  Post a pic of what you take out, what you put in and what is left in the box before you send it off   We are going to have fun and try to keep this going as long as we can!   If you are interested in being in the box, I have a few spots left so post a pic of what samples you have in this thread to be added.   To start off, we are only going to have 10 people! 1. CuriousCannibal 2. MegEm 3.MLLECC 4. tessie84 5. Kittichick 6. NicoleFrat 7. NightKnight 8. Sweetxteeth 9. Nishcakes  10. Kariyava

Hello everyone!   I need some help finding a good concealer for my dark circles and minor pimples. I bought COVER FX concealer yesterday, I wanted to know has anyone tried it, how did it work? I like the Nars Creamy Concealer, but it finishes in no time with me. Are there any other concealers that are good, let me know     Thank you for all your help

Hi All, I have these two mini lipglosses from Tarte's 2013 Holiday Clutch the Spirit set. One is called "Laugh" and the other is called "Spirit."  They are 2 of 8 mini lipglosses that came in the set and both are a light nude (one more pinky than the other), OPAQUE, lipglosses. They are minty, but aren't tingly. I absolutely love them, but they are the size of my pinky finger and I'm running out of them.    Unfortunately it doesn't look like Tarte makes these in full size.    Can anyone give me some recommendations for similar glosses?  - Beige nude sort of color - Opaque, not sheer - Preferably not tingly and not plumping (I have big lips and don't want them any bigger!) - Can be scented, but I don't really care for scent   I have Laura Mercier's lip glace in Bare Baby which kind of fits the bill, but it's not very long lasting...anyone has any good suggestions for me? Thank you!!

I love this brush and I know you will too. This is the Sephora Lash Fan Brush #220. I have very light Eye lashes to a point the are unseen (top photo). I am able to create natural looking full lashes with this brush (bottom photo). Take any mascara of your choice, In this photo I used Bare Minerals Lash Domination, and saturate the brush with product right from the Mascara wand. Then apply the brush to the base of your lashes and wiggle side to side and in and upward motion to the lash tip. For extra volume, you can tight line the eye with a brown or black liner of choice. No clumping results. Remember to curl lashes before applying mascara. I love the outcome.

Have you guys seen these?! There are tons of shades and finishes to choose from, and you can build your own palette! I can't wait to try these; I wonder if Sephora will carry all of the shades? There are so many and I'd really like to go in and test a good chunk of them.     http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1622745

Is it good? I just bought the nars foundation in Stromboli. It's a good match and I like it, but I want something for lighter days. Does anyone know what color in the tinted moisturizer would be close to stromboli

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I know this subject has come up on here several times. I used to wear green contacts (prescribed by my eye doctor) for fun. Recently, I found a website where you can order them without a prescription. I bought a bunch of fun new colors, including some of those large circle ones.    I remember reading the cautions on here about the dangers of using improperly fitted contacts but I figured I'd be fine (last time I'll not listen to BT'ers! lol). My thought was that tons of other people use them and don't have issues.    I wore them for about 5 hours on Saturday. Sunday, I woke up with weird blurred vision in one eye, and by Monday I was in a lot of pain. After spending time at my optometrist (and receiving a long lecture) I am being treated for a corneal abrasion caused by the poorly fitted contacts.    Today, I can't even begin to explain how badly my eye hurts. I couldn't sleep last night because every time my eye twitched the pain woke me up.      Moral of the story, don't be dumb like me. I just figured I'd try to caution other people, especially with Halloween and whatnot coming up to be careful, because how I feel right now is absolutely not worth the risk.    I'm just hoping I won't end up like pirate kitty. Although I'd rather have one eye at this point than the pain.

Hi BTers!   I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on an inexpensive fluffy crease/blending brush similar to the MAC 217. I see a ton of tutorials where people use this brush and it looks amazing, but I'm not sure I want to spend that much on a single brush right now. Does anyone know of any other good ones??   Thanks!!
