Hello there, my pretties! Are we ready for spring yet? I am not necessarily ready for sun ( ), but I know I'm ready to bust out some bright colors and create my own spring magic. Rules are - there are no rules. ( Except - you must have fun! That's obligatory! ) We do feel like brights and pastels during the spring most of the time, but you do whatever you feel like doing. You do you! Try to go through your stash, and introduce us to a new pretty each day. If brights are not your cup of tea, this challenge is an excellent way to try to, well - challenge yourself. But, they are not a must. We are planning on doing this all spring long! Please, feel free to stop by whenever. So... Keep calm and put your lipstick on! My plan ( and goal ) is to shop my own stash. No buying new lipsticks, just giving some love to all my neglected lovelies. Let's see how will that go...

I'm looking for this lipstick or one very similar to it! The main character has worn it on the last 2 episodes of The Catch. Its a very light coral, very flattering on pale tones, and I have to have it! If anyone knows what it is or knows one similar, please let me know!
I have all 3 TF chocolate bar palettes. I like them but am a little bored and want to try something new. However, I don't know if I want to keep them or let them go. I can't think of anyone I know that would want them. What do you do with palettes that you want to get rid of?

So, I've never used this before but I was wondering if anyone can relate or has advice! Since the dawn of time (me experimenting with make up at age 11) I have struggled with finding an eyeliner or mascara that is long lasting. My eyes are watery I guess and spend most of my day wiping of make up from underneath my eyes. I've tried primers, pencil liners, liquid liners, gel liners, felt-tip pen liners. Water proof mascara, high end mascara, regular mascara. I have yet to find a product that stays on my eyes. Today I ordered the stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner, Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara and an Urban Decay Primer potion. I'm hoping these products will work well! Does anyone have any staple products they use that are long lasting?
Can someone recommend me a transparent glossy mascara? I have really dark eyelashes so I don't really need a black mascara and already have plenty of them. I just want something very natural that can help me curve them, settle them into place and make them look a bit longer.
I am currently shopping around and looking for suggestions for another full coverage (obviously will settle on medium to buildable full) pressed powder foundation to set my makeup. Currently I'm using both Kat Von D Lock It and Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation however I don't like that sometimes KVD will oxidize and sometimes the Too Faced doesn't last all day. I've tried Tarte's Amazonian Clay, Clinique's Sheer Powder, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, and NARS All Day Luminous. I have combination skin but don't have an issue with oil breaking through my makeup. I've been to three Sephora's and they just recommend ones I've already tried and at one store they told me they were too busy to get me a sample of one I wanted, oh well. I do have a love/hate relationship with Benefit and MUFE but am willing to try If it makes any difference the makeup that would be set with the powder is NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, Bobbi Brown skin corrector, MAC Pro Long wear concealer, Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, YSL highlighter, and ABH contour
Hey gang, I've been using Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder, and while I like it, I don't LOVE it. I also have an issue with how cheaply made the compact and applicator are so now that I'm out again, I thought I'd switch. Any recommendations on another primer? I'd prefer a powder, but I'm not married to it. My skin is really dry so I always have to take that into account too. Thanks!
Currently trying to decide between the Naked2 Basics palette and Becca Ombre Nudes palette. I have the Tartlette Clay Matte eyeshadow palette and find it difficult to travel with. I also find the colors to be somewhat hard to blend out and work with. Which palette do you think would be the best everyday palette for me?
Hello everyone I need help finding the perfect Eyeshadow Palette for my older sister who is finally getting into makeup (yay). She's in her early 30s, medium complexion, brown hair/eyes, and loves shimmer/glitter <3 Any help will be gladly appreciated she has Naked 2. TIA
I have been seeing tons of makeup artists using pressed powder foundations to set their liquid foundations. Besides adding a little bit of more coverage, why do they do this? I have always used the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder to set my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation. Both help my oily skin stay matte all day long. I am very curious to try a good pressed setting powder that is not translucent, any suggestions?

I am very greatful to be chosen by Sephora and Marc Jacob's beauty to receive the gratis of Marc Jacob's new Matte Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliners . I receive colors (Earth)quake a beautiful brown and (Grape) vine a beautiful purple shade. Texture of these liners is very smooth and creamy and they glide easily on skin. I rubbed the swatches 1 minute after wearing But liners were completely dry and they didn't smudge at all. They stay put when I run water on the wrist and just slightly faded when washed with hand soap, three minutes after wearing. In short apparently they live up to all the claims. I'll try them on soon and will share the eye looks later. For now here are the swatches. Top: Fresh Swatches Bottom: After washing with soap and warm water Thank you Sephora and MarcJacob's beauty!
Is anyone else having this issue? I apply my moisturizer and wait til its soaked in and i then apply Benefit's porefessional only on the t-zone and around my cheeks where I have more visible pores.. I use other primers for the rest of my face. My foundation goes on seamlessly but when I go in with concealer (usually Tarte Shape Tape) and I start to blend it out, my foundation starts to move around and come off!! I have waited for my foundation to dry and I still have the same problem... I always have to go in with more foundation to fix it! Does anyone else have this problem? I've tried using the Nars Creamy concealer to see if it was just the Shape tape causing the issue but the same thing happened.. I started to think maybe it was my beauty blender causing the problem but I never had this problem until I started using the Porefessional primer.
Am I the only one who can't stand Tarte Shape Tape? UGH it is so drying for me, and I have purchased two tubes of it now on two different occasions because I have been so convinced by all the raving (especially from girls with dry skin) that I should love it. Alas, I am in search of a good long-lasting, full coverage, yet hydrating concealer for the under eyes. I have tried and am not a fan of Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer or Urban Decay Naked Skin. However, I am open to any other suggestions! Thanks!
I received a sample of Lancome's Bienfait Teinté BB Cream (in shade 1/Porcelaine) and returned to the store a week later to buy it - only to find it's not carried there anymore! I also see that it's out of stock online. Will Sephora restock this item or are they phasing it out?
The first few times I used this eyeliner (with and without primer, with and without shadow) it went on perfectly. One swipe, full coverage and no transferring to my lid. After about 5 days it started transferring to my lids after 20 minutes of being on. In the past 2 days, even after storing tip down and shaking, it's going on lightly so i've had to put on more than one coat. The transferring was even worse! I'm not sweating - just driving to work. Is this usual or does it sound defective? Thank you for your thoughts!
If you're on BeautyTalk, you're probably well-aware of the nude lip trend and may even own a handful (or three) of these shades. While I love the trend, I still can't seem to find my "perfect nude" so I am very excited to start talking more broadly about UnNudes! UnNude lip shades offer a spectrum from standard nude shades to more bold, neutral shades. These are the mauvy brown, deep chocolate, rose-goldy-earth toned neutral shades and they come in a variety of finishes (matte, metallic, creamy and shiny).
Here's the challenge: rock an UnNude lip look between Monday, February 6th- Tuesday, February 28th. No requirement on how often to post but I'm going to try for every weekday!
Keep in mind, this challenge overlaps Valentine's Day so I am also challenging you to change it up by wearing a bold neutral instead of the typical red. (Hint: red is not an UnNude!)
Check the spoiler for examples of some of UnNude shades. Can't wait to see your take on neutral lips!
Spoiler (Highlight to read)
EDIT: I have changed the timing. This challenge will run through the end of February so keep the UnNude looks coming!
So I have Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Precision Eyeliner in Black, Kat Von D tattoo liner, and MAC powerpoint eye pencil in "engraved". So all three of these black eyeliners go on well but they look so bad after a couple of hours. Either they remain on one lid only, or they end up one inch higher than they were placed originally or they flake off in parts. Any suggestions as I received these as gifts, do not have the box or receipt and don't want them to go to waste. Thank you in advance!!
I bought one of their 4-pan "build your own" palettes and I'm trying to create a palette for daily use. I looked through Sephora and UD site and they don't seem to have a matte dark brown shade. It's kind of surprising that they don't have this color. =O I have hit the pan in my "Pulp Fiction" palette. This palette is basically my holy grail for the "brown/natural" eye look. I bought "Secret Service" as the medium brown lid color and I'm looking for a matte dark brown (an exact match or something similar to the color "Vengeance") to use as a crease color. I don't want to use black because that is too dark for daytime/daily use. They seem to have a whole lot of midtone browns in their current lineup, but a lack of dark browns. Did I overlook something or does UD really not have this color?
