I was looking for a general brand thread but it seems we don't have one. I blindly ordered the blush in Grisaille (to qualify for a promo), with such low expectations that I actually screamed "Oh. My. God!!!" as I was putting it on this morning. The texture of that blush is almost like a cream-to-powder, and super soft, like an angel's behind. The price is a little hard to swallow for something so little, and I wish the pan was magnetic instead of stick-on, but I still think I'll be picking up a few more colors because the formula is divine. What about you—what are your favorite Surratt items?
With all of the various threads dedicated to particular brands, I thought it would be fun to have one specifically for BITE Beauty. This thread is for talking about current products, upcoming releases and general brand love! I'm having a very formal event , but unfortunately I won't be able to afford a makeup artist. Any who, I'm very good at doing my makeup myself so that won't be a problem. so I was wondering id there was any product that keeps makeup/ eye makeup in tact? PLEASE ANSWER . Thanks, JCL
I have combination skin that gets oily in the t-zone but when ever I have a blemish it gets super dry and creates flaky patches and I also get very dry on the outside of my face, around my nose and under my eyes. I also have large pores on my nose that I usually try to cover up and make sure make up doesn't get in there but it always does. I work in a office and rarely go outside but everyday my makeup comes off on my phone or smudges if I barely press on an itch. I finally found a make up that matches my skin tone (I'm a red-head with pale freckly skin) in the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation (110=R220) and I love the coverage and the finish once I set it but even after setting it still rubs off during the day very easily. My make up looks good when I leave for work in the morning but when I get home that night it's patchy and has melted. I've tried a lot of different make up primers and none of them really seemed to extend the wear of my make up. I've tried -MUFE Step 1 Primer in Green (didn't really help color correct or keep my make up on longer) -MUFE Step 1 Primer in Smoothing (helped cover my pores on my nose and create a barrier but didn't extend the life of my make up)- -Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (made my face an oil slick) -Too Faced Hangover Primer (I LOVED how this made my face feel but it didn't help extend my makeup) -Benefit Porefessional (again helped with the pores but make up still melted off) I've even tried the Urban Decay Oil Slick makeup spray which made my face really tight and uncomfortable and the Urban Decay All Nighter which I don't think made much of a difference. I use the RCMA no color powder to set my make up (which I really like because it doesn't make any dry patches look worse and it's not as thick feeling as MUFE HD Powder and doesn't have sparkles like the Laura Mercier). If anyone could give me some advice to help all the work I put into making my makeup look good last until I get home I would really appreciate it.
I already have the Filmstar bronze & glow palette but looking into some of her other products. Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share esp with her Light Wonder Foundation, her blush and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? I'm interested in getting these three things but still on the fence about taking the plunge! Please let me know, many BTers opinions have helped me out on products before Thanks in advance!

A lot of the other big beauty brands have their own threads now, so I thought, why not NARS? Let's share news about new collections, feedback on products, etc here. To start, here are all my mini Urban Decay lipsticks.
Hey Beauties- We have ALOT of threads around here for Tom Ford products. I figured I'd start one thread where we can update each other on items as they come out or we see them available. For all my UK'ers, or people willing to pay for shipping from the UK, Harrods has Softcore and Nude Dip from the Fall collection available right now. Happy Shopping!
Seeing threads for lots of other lovely brands, with my love for YSL growing, I found it only fitting to start a YSL Love / Updates thread (if I missed an existing one, please let me know)! Looking for a foundation that can last 8+ hours, that's full coverage. Something that can cover up blemishes and redness with less than 2 pumps and survive 90+ degree weather with a dewy/natural finish. I'm currently using Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, but I don't know why it doesn't seem to be doing as much for my overall look. I've got dry, sensitive skin, and lately when I pair it with my Too Faced Hangover Primer it gets both flaky/cakey.
I heard that EOS lip balm can increase your lash length and volume. So, I tried it and it works amazingly. Is it bad for your eyes/eyelashes? I really like using it as a base coat before I apply my mascara, but sometimes the EOS gets in my eyes. There is some redness. Is there another way to increase lash length and volume without mascara/coconut oil?
I've been trying to find a replacement for my NARS Powder Foundation ever since it was discontinued and still haven't managed to find one that I love as much. Anyone have any recommendations or found one that is pretty similar? Thanks!
Hello, In the youtube video when concealing hyperpigmented patches, you have just used corrector and foundation. You people did not use concealor. My question is that one does not need to use concealers for covering hyperpigmented patches? Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcqPP6CDKCY Humair
I used Lancome and loved it but after a couple years i noticed my face was always flakey and it settled in my lines. I moisturize, use a primer, the works. I think my skin gets really weird in the changes of the season. I bought Lorac, and it really is hydrating but i'm not IN LOVE with it. I love the color but it doesn't stay on very long and my forehead tend to get oily looking throughout the day. I am looking for a foundation with great coverage for dry/combination skin. I am very fair and my skin tends to be acne-prone. but i think its due mostly to it being dry/irritated. Preferably middle of the road price...something less than $40. also if you have any general skincare product faves let me know too Thanks!

Hi all I will be attending a $75 plate dinner/fundraising auction for helping people with disabilities find jobs. (they even found me mine) anyways its this Sunday and I wanted to sort of boho style for the event. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for makeup looks. tutorials etc. I have blue - gray eyes and fair-pale skin and light brown - dishwater blonde hair that goes slightly past shoulders. I plan to beach wave my hair if that makes a difference with the face makeup. . I seem to manage easier with tutorials. I placed this topic in the eye makeup category on BT but I guess it could go in any makeup category. anyways, any help would be very much appreciated.
Hi guys! I was wondering if someone could help me out with finding a nice foundation or just recommend one. I am bellow the age of 18 and have normal/combo skin which leans more to dry skin than oily. I am searching for a foundation or BB cream with medium coverage or light to medium just not full coverage basically. Any foundation recommendations would be nice but BB cream also because summer's coming and I prefer BB creams over foundation throughout the summer. I hope someone can help me out, anyway thanks!
Hey folks! I've been talking about doing this for a while and finally decided to just get it started! I would love it if as a community we could decide on brand equivelancies and have kind of a master list to refer to for trades and TSB's. (Keeping in mind that LE/Unicorns etc are not accounted for here.) I want to start with this and eventually make a skincare brand list as well. I will post 3-5 brands every day and I want you guys to tell me what your thoughts are and where it would fit in these categories: 1. Drugstore A [run of the mill] (ex: Revlon, L'Oreal' Wet n Wild, Ulta) 2. Drugstore B [more desirable] (ex: NYX, Catrice, Sephora) 3. Low-end (ex: theBalm) 4. Mid-Range (ex: Clinique, Besame) 5. High End (ex: Bobbi Brown, Burberry) 6. Superstar (ex: CHANEL, Tom Ford) Spreadsheet: Spoiler (Highlight to read) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-xO9Y6Ot-v FZZvyZ6v8a7PYEpetFVs5kGDnPf5sN1bY/edit?usp=sharing https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-xO9Y6Ot-v FZZvyZ6v8a7PYEpetFVs5kGDnPf5sN1bY/edit?usp=sharing Please post your thoughts in a comment under the brand comment I make. Remember, we are only judging based on the makeup so if a brand also has skincare or perfume or something else entirely good for them but it's not relevant right now! :-) You will have one week to weigh in on a brand before I add it to the spreadsheet.
