Hi! So it's my first time posting here and I'm looking for an eyeliner I can use on my waterline and also lower lash line. I'm new to eyeliner but have really been loving looks with a pop of color on the waterline and also lower lash line. I love make up forever so I thought about trying their new Aqua xl liners but I have seen some good reviews for the urban decay 24/7, Marc highliner, and the nars larger than life as well. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Here's the issue: When I'm putting on my makeup in the morning, my foundation never seems to want to stick to my nose. It will be blotchy and is NEVER as smooth as the rest of my makeup. I sweat from my nose...wondering if that is the problem. But I try to put it on when I'm cool, and it still never seems to help. Here's my makeup routine: I use Marc Jacobs coconut primer, then the concentrated foundation. I brush it all on with the Pro Airbrush #55. Then, I use the E.L.F. contouring brush to put a little bit of Bare Minerals bronzer on my cheeks. I use a Bare Minerals kabuki brush to put Cover FX Illuminator on the bridge of my nose, the top of my cheek bones, my forehead and chin...and that's about when my nose makeup starts getting blotchy. Then I go over it with the Marc Jacobs Perfection Powder (using a foundation brush I purchased at ULTA) and brush and brush my nose to try to smooth it out. I have also tried using a beauty blender, but that just seems to rub the makeup off... I have dry skin, but sometimes my nose can get oily. Could that be the issue?? PLEASE HELP. This is killing me inside. ;'(
It gets super hot and humid where I live and I'm out side a lot for 8+ hours. So i'm looking for a good primer, foundation and concealer. I currently use Estee Lauder double wear and I like it for the most part because it is full coverage and its so full coverage I dont even need a concealer with it and I find its the only foundation so far that has lasted the longest without sweating off. But the negative side is that it makes my skin patchy/cakey especially between my eyebrows and sides of my nose since I have kinda dry skin. So basically i'm looking for a long lasting that lasts at least 8+ hours or more in a sweat proof primer, foundation and concealer for dry skin.
On Thursday, June 23, I ordered four of the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks from ColourPop. Looking at my account today, it says that it's been paid for, but the order remains unfulfilled. Having never purchased from ColourPop before, I was wondering if this was normal and if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks for any and all answers! :-)
I'm going crazy! I swear, no matter what mascara I use or eyelash curler, my eyelashes refuse to hold a curl. I've noticed that this has been happening for the past year. They use to hold a curl and look how I wanted them too, but not anymore. I've used heat on my curler, tried a few different curlers AND used waterproof mascara and they still refuse to stay curled for more than 5 seconds. My eyelashes now look straight and always clump together whenever I wiggle the mascara wand. I have even tried applying fake eyelashes a few times but I'm awful at it. Currently, I use a tweezerman & cover girl eyelash curler as well as the waterproof Maybelline Full 'N Soft mascara.
So, I've been looking for a foundation for oily skin. I tend to sweat from heat or what not very easily and haven't tried very much out there. I've been told about tint moisturizers, BB-CC Creams, minerals, but i can't seem to find one that looks the way I want it to on my face. I'm looking for something light, doesn't transfer too much, WATERPROOF??, and basically something that doesnt look like its there at all. I just need one for redness but don't want anything that make my oily skin more oily or crack. HELP! haha as you can already tell, im all over the place with what I'm looking for. Any guidance?? Thanks Beauty Queens.
I'm tryin to choose btw That Glow and Sun Dipped! I've seen a lot of diff reviews on how Sun Dipped or That Glow work on diff skin tones. I have a pretty medium skin tone with yellow undertones, and sometimes get tan/browner in the summer. I'd appreciate the help, thanks y'all!
MJ Coconut Primer + KatVonD Lock-It Foundation (liquid) + bareMinerals bareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer. Yyaaahhhss!! Wow, what a difference the damp beauty blender (just bought my first one) & the Marc Jacobs primer made! Barely used any Lock-It. Treated the blender like a cushion compact applicator & just kept patting. The Lock-It foundation applied in such a lovely thin, even layer. So natural looking (but still had coverage). I applied the bareSkin bronzer serum also with the blender (barely damp) as a true bronzer just where sun would hit. So, so pretty!! Loved it!! I did use a pat or two of KatVD Lock-It powder foundation over 2 small patches of melasma on my chin, and Guerlain Les Violettes pressed powder to set undereyes, and to barely add a finish very sheerly in t-zone.
Hi people! I wanted to know some suggestions for a light foundation for dry skin over the summer? I am into very glowy, radiant skin. Oh, and I want to make sure it looks good in flash photography ! Thank you!

It doesn't matter what foundation or primer I use, my foundation ALWAYS starts to separate on my face after a short few hours, starting on my nose area and spreading to my mouth, chin & forehead. I don't know what I am doing wrong. PLEASE HELP ME
Hello! So I've always been intrigued by makeup but found it all overwhelming. Typically I just use a foundation and mascara from Walmart. I really would love to learn about how to choose and apply different products, while after watching videos and reading many blogs I'm still overwhelmed but thankfully not as much. I know it's going to be a learning process that I hope will be more fun than frustrating. Anyways, I'm trying to take it step by step so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on a good starter kit of brushes for a beginner. I'm not wanting to spend a crap ton of money, but I also don't want to cheapen out and have to replace them anyways. So I would be willing to spend a bit more for a decent set that will last me a long time. If this helps in recommending anything my main focus is to have nice flawless skin but until I'm more comfortable I plan to keep it kind of neutral (so nothing too crazy for eyeshadows). I'm not sure if that would matter that I plan to keep it neutral for at least awhile but I just want you to get the best picture of what I'm hoping to achieve. Anyways, I'll stop rambling now! Thank you so so much in advance!
I have been using Cover FX N40. I was using translucent powder until I went into this public bathroom one day and my face looked like I had white dots all over it from the powder settling in my pores. Then I switched to a pressed powder. I live in a remote part of Alaska and cannot go into a store for help. Someone help me please....
anyone knows how does Too Faced | Born This Way Foundation works on combination/dehydrated skin? I really like how it covers blemishes without looking heavy! I have oily skin and but dry patches on my cheekbones, in between my brows and chin. Also, i live in a country with tropical rainforest climate. How does this foundation performs in heat and high humidity? Please feel free to recommend any products (primer, foundation, setting sprays) suitable for me!
I recently discovered that my skin is incredibly reactive and many ingredients cause breakouts. I want to sell the makeup I can no longer wear. Does anyone have a suggestion of how to do this to get the best price? I have considered Glambot, but it seems most people only get 10 percent of the retail value of their items. Thank you!!!
I find rust colors and gold tones look the best on me, there's so many palettes like that I have no idea what to get. Green and purple don't really work for me. I've been using the eyeshadow palette from the lancome holiday beauty box, but I'm extremely low if it helps. I could try something outside my comfort zone too.
I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and my dress is hot pink on the orange-y side but not quite a coral shade. I love wearing bold lipstick but I don't want to match too much to the dress so I'm not sure what colors to wear for my makeup. Suggestions?
