I went to my local Sephora today and one of the girls told me that after the holidays all of the Lorac products will be on sale. They're not going to carry the line any longer I went home and checked online (with fingers crossed) to see if perhaps it would just be my local Sephora losing the line, unfortunately they barely have anything online! I'm so sad right now!! Why Sephora, why????
Just saw the reviews for this collection coming out on the 26th on Temptalia's blog. Anyone else excited for this? I think I'm really loving the blushes and skinfinishes! Pretty highlighters are easy catching the eye aren't they?
I am trying to reorder Make Up For Ever and can not find the color type on my current bottle. The botton has the numbers #1 TC31A but when I enter that in the search I get no results. Can anyone help me identify my color so I can reorder?
If you got a $50 Sephora gift card this very second, and what would you buy? Personally, I would maybe get the Nars blush in Mata Hari and anorther MJB nail polish? They've both been on my list for a while... http://www.sephora.com/blush-P2855?skuId=221382 http://www.sephora.com/enamored-hi-shine-nail-lacq uer-P380707?skuId=1511328
I saw this going around on Youtube and I wanted to see what you ladies have to say and what you decide. I don't have all of these palettes, I stated the ones that i thought fit the category best. Some I do have though! Here are the questions! 1.) Best Packaging 2.) Best Color Payoff 3.) Most Versatile 4.) Best for Travel 5.) Biggest Regret 6.) Best Color Names 7.) Least Used 8.) Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island 1.) Best Packaging I have to give this one to Marc Jacobs. Their packaging is the beautifulest I have seen! I do not own it… YET! lol but from what i have seen, it is so sleek and beautiful!!! 2.) Best Color Payoff UD Naked i believe has one of the best color payoff out of most palettes! 3.) Most Versatile I think the Disney's Ariel Palette is pretty versatile since it was a collection of colors and finishes! 4.) Best For Travel . I take the Naked Basics palette with me whenever I go on a trip. It is small, compact, and it has neutrals that go with everything and range from day to night. 5.) Biggest Regret My biggest regret was probably the UD… i don't even know the name of it. It is a small square palette and is purple on the outside and has a bunch of shimmery colors that i NEVER use! 6.) Best Color Names I have to give it to the upcoming Too faced Chocolate Bar ! it has such yummy names that make you just want to eat the palette!! lol 7.) Least Used That once again has to go to that UD palette. I have NEVER used it and I have had it for a while. 8.) Most Loved Has to go to my Lorac Pro Palette . It is my baby! I use it all the time and create any look with it! I am in love with this baby! <3 lol
Okay so I used to have decent eyebrows naturally, but one day I got overzealous with my tweezers and ruined them. My brows used to be twins but now they're like sisters (maybe cousins). For whatever reason I can't color match a product for my eyebrows to save my life (and neither can the SAs at Sephora)! I need a brow powder/brow gel/brow product match. Any suggestions?
I noticed that both palettes are not only out of stock online, they are not sold online at Sephora anymore. Does anyone know why? Since they're not listed online, I can't check their in store availability which is annoying. Thanks!
This collection is launching Dec. 26th. I need to get my hands on those purple lipsticks!!! For those of you who missed Hautecore on Black Friday it should be in this collection. credits to makeupstash dot com. The post also said there might also be 3 pigments and 3 nail polishes. All Races, Idol eyes, Magic Moor, Carbon Jet Boy, No Apologies, Dark Outsider
Dear Ladies, If you saw my last post (it was deleted) I just want to apologize and thank you all for being concerned. I totally forgot this isn't like the instagram boutique community and we all don't have proof although I'd trust most of you because I highly doubt many perverts lurk on here lol. I shouldn't of made that post and should've just asked the people on the instagram btq's that do it from time to time. It wasn't against my parents wishes & someone with a beauty boutique instagram (with proof) is helping me and used her card to purchase it. thanks for caring! xoxo, kelly
Im learning how to contour and i have light skin. Im a light sand in the TARTE foundation and on a makeup contouring video it said go several shades darker than your base foundation. What shade would you recommend without making me look orange?
I'm a total lipstick junkie, but I hate dealing with the aftermath! Whatever lipstick I use (Estee Lauder, Lancome, Revlon, Bite Beauty), my lips get this weird coating at the end of the day. The coating balls up and can be rubbed off. I know it's not my lips drying out; there's no discomfort or tightness, and I always apply a lip balm beforehand. I don't apply thick coats of lipstick either, because I'm a fan of using lipstick as a natural stain. It's so annoying! I have to exfoliate my lips after only a couple hours of wear, when the lipstick can easily last longer than that. Reapplying more layers of lipstick or lip gloss doesn't really help. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
I have light skin with cool undertones, light brown hair & grey eyes. My standard eye shadow routine is pale yellow-gold for the highlight, bronze in the crease, and dark brown in the corner. I recently got a sample of stila's kitten and it's either too pink or too shimmery for me to use as a highlighter - it just makes me look old. Which of the naked pallets would best suit my coloring?
So, the year is coming to a close and I figured we could start a thread of our most loved and most used products (basically HG of 2013). Keep it going until January and lets keep it to lists and hearts ... If you want a review lets start a new thread or check other threads as I'm sure these will be much talked about products. Feel free to list as many as you like and edit your post if you discover another before years end. I noticed this brand on HauteLook today and have never heard of them before. So thinking they must be a high-end cosmetics brand, I checked out their website. Their blush and shadow cases look just like NARS, while their lipgloss tubes closely match Smashbox's Lip Enhancing or Limitless glosses. I tracked some reviews that raved about how well-pigmented the products are. LiSi's website has a 50% off entire site promo, which is enticing, but their prices were what concerned me a bit. At full price they are still below most drugstore prices for cosmetics. Take 50% off of that... well it almost makes it downright dangerous for me! Has anyone ever tried this line? If so, could you please share your thoughts and experiences with us? Thanks so much!! <3
Hi all, I'm looking for long wear lipsticks for olive toned skin. Specifically, reds. I'm drawn to deeper reds, so nothing fire engine-y. More purple-reds, berry reds, etc. I'm open to any shades that work well as I don't usually wear very pigmented lipstick. Any advice for a newbie?
I have two 10% off coupons for Saks that expire on the 19th. These coupons are good for the entire order, and can be applied to beauty, including brands like Chanel and Tom Ford that never go on sale. You can also use the code HOLIDAY to get free shipping. If you would like one, PM me and I'll send it to you!
So I am very interested in purchasing some products from EM Cosmetics, a new makeup line by Michelle Phan. I wanted to get your feedback on any items you have tried out so I can make the most out of my potential purchase
So I just spent the afternoon filming a dupe video for my channel and I wanted to get your opinion. I shot the video in natural lighting plus an overhead warm light and the other video with umbrella lights (both videos are of the same thing). The umbrella lighting is a little stark but the other lighting is a bit warm (and sometimes the warm light will hit my face in areas). Which lighting do you think looks better? Please let me know what you think Thanks guys!!!
So I have a gift card burning a hole in my wallet and I'm in the mood to use it. Got any suggestions on what to buy? I really don't want a gift set but would prefer 1 or 2 really good and special products. Other than that, I'm up for anything!
I'm assuming because I don't have smooth skin, and it's been rather dry lately. I've just amped up my skincare routine because it's getting worse. But I just feel like the blush doesn't sit right and looks... bumpy or something. Is this something a primer can help with? Or do I just need to hope the surface of my skin will change?
New Years is approaching and I am trying to brain storm nail design ideas. I am still up in the air about what I am wearing so I wanted something that would easily match everything. I was thinking either a French manicure or a very natural pink with a gold stripe. Any other ideas out there? I was thinking this but with a natural pink Or just a simple French manicure
