I'm curious if anyone watches Sephora TV? I like the make up ones where they show you applications and give a list of products used at the end, and some of the nail/hair ones. Altho there's no search or favorite functions, does anyone else like or watch them? o.O Aaand I was going to embed a couple of my favorite in here but apparently you can only embed youtube videos and there's no html tab for me to go in and write it in. http://www.sephora.com/sephoratv/sephoratv.jsp?ooi d=BzbXQ3NDoFKUEurBk_xFJ9Q962PtNomR http://www.sephora.com/sephoratv/sephoratv.jsp?ooi d=o2OWlrNTq9qYtQTUYJCHlGme4x0XBw1_

I have seen this post before so I thought it would be fun to do another one. Because what someone may love you may hate. Here is my list: -MUFE Mat Velvet Plus, I bought this because I get oily in summer but I feel like it makes a greaseball -Benefit Boing- Just didn't get the hype -NARS Deep Throat- Expensive for the size, and color looks pretty in pan but have to apply a lot because it is sheer -Ole Henriksen Truth Serum- Made me break out more
What do you guys think about this years kit? Will you be buying it? I just saw it in the new arrivals section but is not for sale yet.. What are you most excited about in this kit? Im still debating if i should get it! Link to the kit: http://www.sephora.com/sun-safety-kit-P379059?skuI d=1524727 *UPDATE 5/8: Sephora took it down since it's not for sale yet, but it will be for sale mid-end of May!! Check back!
When I got into makeup about a year ago I felt like Sephora was like Toys R Us for people who loveee makeup. You can sample products in the stores and theres always soooo many options for what you're looking for. However now that Im starting to get my staple makeup products down I find that there are some things I will or already have repurchased because they work sooo well for me. My repurchased items are... -Naked Basics Palette: I lovee the neutral looks I can make with this palette while also having the option to make it a bit bolder if I wanted to. -Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer: I love the consistency of these products creamy and go on soo smooth. -Smashbox Lipstick in Primrose: its my lips but better lipstick and sooo moisturizing
This is probably the weirdest question ever asked but whatever, here it goes! I normally have had pretty tame eyebrows, so they've never been waxed/plucked etc. before. But lately, hairs have popped in between them and on top and below! I don't know if they are noticeable to other people but they are bugging me! Plus, I think getting my eyebrows shaped would add some nice definition to my face. But what do you think? Does it hurt really bad? Am I going to get it done and have waxing phobia that's worse than my unibrow phobia?? Please help!
Has anyone given this a try or thought about getting this? I heard many reviews about this, especially Dim. I want to get BT opinions on this one before I go into Sephora. I know I won't be walking out with just one item.
I've been thinking about venturing into the world of falsies and am finding that there's HUGE price differences between different types. Based on old threads and limited personal experience, I definitely get that glue is super important and that no matter how much you spend, you really shouldn't use the same pair too many times. My question is, how much difference is there between more expensive brands like MUA versus cheaper ones? Also, can people recommend some favorite cheaper sets?
Okay so I have noticed that not all the sharpeners can work with all the pencils! I currently have Nyx Jumbo eyeshadow pencils and Nars Velvet Gloss lip pencils! I wanted to know if you have them and what sharpeners do you use for them! Can you use the same one for both? Or is there one i can find that has both?
Hey everyone! After years of struggling with bad skin, I have finally decided to take on a healthier lifestyle - not just to improve my inner well being, but also my outer (skin, hair, etc.). With that being said, I'm hoping to hear some of your success stories: did drinking more water help improve your skin, did your foundation start working and applying better after making healthy changes, etc. Looking for a little inspiration! I hope to hear from you guys and get your input!
I know mascaras are supposed to be replaced every 3 months, but what about foundations, concealers, blush, powders, eye shadows and lipsticks/ lip glosses? I recently went through and got rid of makeup that I knew was old. Now, I'm not sure what should be tossed or used up.
I need help with a foundation for rosacea - I am 69 years old, with somewhat dry sensitive skin and today for some reason my cheeks are on fire and don't know what I did to cause this. have not used anything different - any help will be appreciated.
I've been using Ole Henriksen Sheer transformation before my primer and it's been working pretty good for me, but i was wonder what other moisturizers would be good for applying before makeup to help with oil control and make skin look better, any suggestions?
I've heard its name so often and it hasn't been in the stores recently so It looks like online would be the only option for me for the time being...but is it really that great? What's given it such a great reputation?
I haven't tried too many products from this brand but I am considering being a consultant since I stay at home with my son. Does anyone have favorite products from this line? I have liked some of their eveyshadows and the satin hands collection.
I'm wanting to buy a new liquid liner because the one I have right now (I think it's Maybelline...) is starting to smudge/melt as it gets warmer out I'm looking for one that will last all day and is fairly easy to apply. Any recommendations?
Ok I thought it would be really fun to do a thread about what is your favorite beauty products for each color of the rainbow. If you don't have a beauty product then fashion works as well ^_^. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, & Violet are the colors. Indigo for me is a more blue purple color. So if you skip Indigo don't worry ^_^ Here are mine (so hard to pick just one for each) Red - Mac Charmed I'm Sure lipstick Orange - Maybelline Orange Edge Lipstick Yellow - Inglot 474 Eyeshadow Green - Mac Jealously Awake Eyeshadow Blue - Orly High on Hope nail polish Indigo - Urban Decay Ransom eyeshadow (not pictured it was in a palette) Violet - OCC liptar in Belladonna
I just saw this in the NEW section and I'm thinking about getting it! I love these type of kits and surprisingly enough EVERY SIGNLE item in this kit, i want to try. Usually theres 1 or 2 items i dont care for but not this one! Though I have owned the NARS Orgasm blush before and loved it. I was sold until i saw it was $75... I mean it's reasonable considering the sizes of the products you're getting but do you think it's worth it? I would defiantly not even think twice to buy it if it was going for like $50 What's your opinion on the kit? http://www.sephora.com/super-stars-beauty-essentia ls-P379411?skuId=1521830 - 0.035 oz Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder - 0.06 oz Sephora Collection Microsmooth Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Black Light - 0.16 oz NARS Blush in Orgasm - 0.5 oz Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment - 0.5 oz Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil - 0.33 oz Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - 0.3 oz Benefit They're Real! So i'm going to a Quinces(Like their 16's for latin girls) Cruise on June 8, and I need to do my own make up for the main party. It consists of all the girls in white, extravageant dresses dancing around a stage. Under strong lights, it'll easier wear down your makeup. I already have a foundation base, (Kat Von D in Medium 52) but I need a primer since it kinda cakes up easily. Well, more accurately saying, it gets into my pores. I use a normal makeup sponge from the drugstore to apply it. Any budget-friendly primers out there for a 15-year-old, with oily skin? Also, I need subtle products for my face that will match my white and silver accents. If you need more info to make a suggestion, please feel free to ask.
I started wearing make up more often after I gained 20 punds and everything seems not so good. collecting 3 foundation, 3 blush on 2 lipstick and I started learning a lot on make up like need moisturizer, primer setting spray and trying to learn eye shadow now but not sure if im going to learn it. thanks
Lately I've been loving the color purple and wearing a lot of It. Note: I haven't worn all things purple at all times, i mainly have played up my eyes with neutral lips, but at times I've worn my fav purple lip colors. I really like Loracs Starry-eyed eyeshadow trio in Starlet, Nars velvet matte lip pencil in Never Say Never, MUFE Aqua eyes in Metallic purple and OCCs lip tar in Darkroom Plum-- I thought this was too dark for me, but with just wearing black eyeliner, it isn't as dark as it seems. OPI Blasted purple glitter for my nails i usually love pink, but purple really seems to do my brown eyes justice. Anyone have their favs in purple?
