blush for woman over 50
I am 53 yr old woman who doesnt wear much makeup, but now I want to look better. I've been told to use a cream blush. I like the too faced, who's your poppy blush, what can I use in a cream?
A very light, pastel pink color applied to the apples of your cheeks and swept up can really brighten up your eyes and give a flushed, youthful appearance. A deeper color swept up your cheekbone and even upward on the temple can help give you a “mini-facelift”. Don’t be afraid of a little sheen on your cheeks, but you may want to steer clear of all-out glittery shades. One product that you may want to try is Stila's Custom Color Blush which is pH-balanced so it changes to each person's individual body chemistry to turn to the perfect shade that flatters you most. You can read all about it at: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P26

Have a great day!
Cream blush is lovely on all type of skins but especially on more mature skin.
If you want a peachy pink then, the industry standard at this point is NARS Orgasm which comes in the Multiple (their cream eye, cheek , lip formula)
Some others I like:
NARS Enchanted or Penny Lane : http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P54
Tarte: Blissful, http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P38
Hope this helps!
Tarte's Cheek Stain is a nice alternative to powder blush. Tarte Cheek Stain is sort of like a cream and you can use it just like you do a cream. You can apply it right from the tube or it can be brushed on. I am really loving many of the Tarte products right now. There are some gorgeous shades. "Blissful" is a warm peachy pink shade that might compare to the "Who's Your Poppy" shade you mentioned. I am also crazy about Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush. It is a powder, but the clay gives it enough creaminess that is doesn't feel dry or streak like a powder. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush Good luck in your search!
NARS Cream Blush in Cactus Flower or Enchanted would be pretty close to Who's Your Poppy by Too Faced.
Another good cream blush is MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Microfinish Blush. I'd suggest it in 6 Quickie for a brighter and bolder shade, and 7 One Too Many or 8 PDA for a softer look.
