Hi lookinolder. Are you looking for a loose powder to set makeup, absorb oil, provide coverage?

If you don't need the coverage, and just want something to set makeup or absorb oily (or both), I recommend the Tarte Smooth Operator Micronized Clay Finishing Powder. It mattifies and is translucent so it won't look cakey.

If you want a powder that absorbs oil will providing coverage with a natural finish, I recommend Laura Mercier's Mineral Pressed Powder SPF 15. It's oil-free and water resistant so it stands up to oily skin. The SPF will also be a benefit for you in AZ. I also love how the compact is easy to take in a purse or bag for mid-day touchups.
