As a 3Y05, what color(s) should I get for bareMinerals' Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, Burberry's Fresh Glow B.B. Cream, Giorgio Armani's Luminessence CC Color Control Bright Moisturizer SPF 35, and Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage?
My Color IQ is registered 4Y06 (tested in store) - Any idea what my closest color match would be for the Makeup Forever HD Stick ? Unfortunately it doesn't come up in my short list. Not too sure how else to find it... suggestions? Thanks in advance
Here's a rose-steeped look for anyone who loves the colour! Comment below your favourite colour and I'll see if I can make a makeup look based around it. Face: I'm going for a natural, dewy face with a rosy glow. 1. A tinted moisturizer will give you that natural look: http://www.sephora.com/moisture-surge-cc-cream-hyd rating-colour-corrector-broad-spectrum-spf-30-P378 ... 2. This blush/highlighter hybrid is perfect for achieving that glow: http://www.sephora.com/ambient-lighting-blush-P384 963?skuId=1581313 Eyes: These rose gold eyes will match perfectly with the natural glow of your face. 1. Rosy eyes: http://www.sephora.com/naked3-P384099?skuId=157333 6 Apply the colour Limit through-out the crease using a fluffy blending brush. Apply Burnout to the lid for more colour. Use Factory as a liner if you want to stick to the soft look, or use Blackheart for a more dramatic wing. Apply a favourite mascara. 2. Natural brows: http://www.sephora.com/tinted-brow-gel-P187202?sku Id=829721 Lips: to finish off the look apply a rose-tinted lip. You can stick with the natural look by going for a simple lip, or class it up a bit by doing a matte finished look. 1. The simple (apply this starting in the center and use a moisturizer blend all over) : http://www.sephora.com/high-pigment-matte-pencil-P 283905?skuId=1321645&icid2=bite_lp_bestsellers_car ... 2. Matte and fancy (first use a lip primer - Bite Beauty has a great one. Apply this all over, first using the pointed tip as a liner, the again start in the center and apply outwards): http://www.sephora.com/matte-creme-lip-crayon-P387 705?keyword=1619691&skuId=1619600&icid2=Bite_Effec ...
I use Kat Von D's tattoo lock it foundation (which I love) and a primer from Bare Minerals for oil control (very oily skin), but I have noticed some patchy-ness and a very dry flaky nose as the day wears on. I moisturize and so on, yet my nose seems catch the foundation in a way that looks like I am going to peel at any minute. Any advice?
I really want to try out Burberry's new contour pen, foundation and base moisturizer, but I'm not sure what shade I should get; if I should go lighter or darker. I'm Chinese and have lighter skin on my face, possibly a light olive tone? I just have no idea. I currently use Laura Mercier's liquid foundation in "nude," but I don't know how that translates across brands.
Hello, I am interested in purchasing the kevyn aucoin sensual skin enhancer but I am not sure which shade. I was thinking he sx08. For reference, I am an nc30 in mac, stromboli in nars, and 6.5 in giorgio armani. Anybody with the same skin tone as me purchase the KA sse and if so, which shade? Thanks!
totally random, but did anyone else notice that the smashbox shape matters palette went from $65 to $55? i wonder the palette wasn't really selling and they decided to decrease the price. http://www.sephora.com/shapematters-palette-P39742 3?skuId=1721059 edit -- spelled 'shape' wrong. whoops.
If you have the choice of either or between the Sephora Hakuhodo or Its Cosmetic live beautifully brushes which one would you get? I am starting to invest more in my make up and not sure which one I should get: Sephora Hakuhodo set ($148) or Its Cosmetic live beautifully brushes ($100ish for 3 of them). I have only one multitasker kubuki Eco Tools and a beauty blender right now for my face. I would like to invest in a good set (mostly because of the softness). I'm a sucker for fluffy brushes. The Its Cosmetic live beautifully brushes in store felt super soft. I wasn't able to get a good feel for the Hakuhodo that was on display at a local store. I only need (or so I think) 3 brushes: soft powder brush, blush brush, and a buffer/foundation brush. Which one would you get? Is the Hakuhodo/ Its Cosmetic brush worth it?
hello, i was wonerding which foundation to buy. i am choosing between Double Wear, Tarte Amazonian Clay and Kate Von D! i have dry skin and my colour is very light with a pink undertone! Thank you for the help
Hello I am struggling to find a good color foundation. My chest/décolletage tends to me dark/splotchy (hormones) compared to my face/neck. When I match my foundation to my face/neck, it looks washed out against my chest... if I match my chest, I look ridiculously dark on me. Anyone have a suggestion? TIA
I really want to invest in a primer but don't know which one to get.... I have combo skin, I use Makeup Forever HD foundation but throughout the day it wears off ): does anyone have suggestions as to what primer I should get that is good for sensitive skin and prolongs your makeup?
When I dont wear makeup my skin is pretty normal except for I get dry on the sides of my nose and the middle of my chin. I am currently using makeup forever hd and by the end of the day (6-8 hours later) my forehead and cheeks get oily/greasy. Most of the time I use cere ve lotion only about a dime size under my foundation or Instead I will use smashbox photo finish acne primer but I never use both together. Could It be the lotion or primer that is causing my makeup to make me feel oily or is it the foundation or a combination of both?
So I recently bought an Artis Oval 10 brush. It is honestly one of the strangest foundation brushes I have ever used but it works amazingly! I've never experienced a brush that provides streak free coverage like this, I feel like I look airbrushed. I highly recommend it. My question: For anyone who owns one, how do you clean it? I saw they have a cleansing foam and cloth you can use but I'd rather not spend $50 on it. Has anyone tried anything else? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the brand!
I normally wear MUFE HD Liquid Foundation, which is the only foundation I have found that doesn't cake on me, doesn't make me look overly greasy and gives me the coverage I need. However, I lately have been feeling like liquid foundation just feels and looks so heavy and I don't want to look so made up every day when I am at school. I am wanting ideas for powder foundations that work well for oil/acne prone skin. Particularly I want something that won't cake throughout the day or oxodize. I wear a good amount of concealer to cover up my few acne prone areas, so it must work well with liquid concealer. Thanks

Hi I recently started using Nars sheer glow foundation and I am in the shade punjab and I really was wanting to try Nars concealer stick but unfortunately i don't know what shade i would be so i was wondering if you would mind helping me. Thank You!!!
I have the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. I generally use it in the crease between my nose and eye duct to help with "shadows" and underneath my eyes for brightening. Are there any additional ways I can use this product?
