It's on sephora.ca's main home page as a value/gift set but doesn't show up anywhere on the website.. hasn't even shown up in any of my emails but I've seen people say it was on the US site last month?? Did I miss it? Was it ever on canadian sephora or will it be soon??
Underneath their "Book a Reservation" link at the bottom of the page, Sephora offers 45-minute makeovers to those who spend $50 or more. I was hoping to go to a Sephora near me the morning of prom and have a makeover. I have $75 in Sephora gift cards that I am willing to spend. Am I qualified for a makeover? Can I use gift cards towards the makeover? Can I use the gift cards to purchase other products (perfumes, facial masks, etc.) after the makeover, as long as the total comes to $50? I have looked EVERYWHERE and I am struggling to find answers. Please help!
I am trying out the Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Foundation and I cannot get it to apply smoothly. It comes out patchy and scaly looking. I have normal skin and can usually use any kind of foundation and any formula. I've tried water based and silicone based primers, no primer, with and without moisturizer and nothing helps. I have not tried the Marc Jacobs primer. Could it be that does the trick? I have only tried this with a brush since that was recommended. Would a Beauty Blender help? I really want this foundation to work because the coverage is insanely full, which I like. Has anyone else with my skin type had this problem?
I'm sure I'm not the only fan of Japanese beauty products/makeup/brushes/aesthetic on BT. I like to keep up on upcoming Japanese beauty for my own personal purchasing, but since we don't have a thread for this, I thought I'd start one. Feel free to contribute whatever Japanese beauty or brushes float your boat. Some of my personal favorites are Addiction by Ayako, Three, and Les Merveilleuses de Laduree (I know, not exactly ' Japanese ' but they release a lot of their LE products there) But, I'm sure we have some fans of Jill Stuart, Suqqu, RMK, Chicca, Elegance, all the different Shiseido sub brands, and more, so let's share the love! Upcoming Collections: Three - 'Let the Happiness In' Summer 2016 - May 11 Addiction by Ayako - 'Never Ending Summer' - April 1/May 6
Looking for a foundation that can last 8+ hours, that's full coverage. Something that can cover up blemishes and redness with less than 2 pumps and survive 90+ degree weather with a dewy/natural finish. I'm currently using Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, but I don't know why it doesn't seem to be doing as much for my overall look. I've got dry, sensitive skin, and lately when I pair it with my Too Faced Hangover Primer it gets both flaky/cakey.
I really want to try out a new foundation. I have used beauty control foundation for at least 10 years and my shade was always about a Y-2, sometimes a Y-3. I have a yellow undertone and pretty oily skin. I'm wanting something with mostly a full coverage. I thought about trying the clinique too, but I have no idea what shade I would get. Help me please!
This is my HG foundation for years. But--as I've gotten older, I'm not producing as much oil I am still highly acne prone and struggling to find a moisturizer that will counteract the drying effects of this foundation but not break me out. So I was wondering, what moisturizer is everyone using underneath this foundation? Thanks!
I was looking for a general brand thread but it seems we don't have one. I blindly ordered the blush in Grisaille (to qualify for a promo), with such low expectations that I actually screamed "Oh. My. God!!!" as I was putting it on this morning. The texture of that blush is almost like a cream-to-powder, and super soft, like an angel's behind. The price is a little hard to swallow for something so little, and I wish the pan was magnetic instead of stick-on, but I still think I'll be picking up a few more colors because the formula is divine. What about you—what are your favorite Surratt items?

Can someone tell me the difference between these two? I love the matchmaker serum foundation because it doesn't break me out or irritate my super sensitive skin (don't love the color). I am looking for a fuller coverage, though, and I heard they may be discontinuing matchmaker. Are they pretty much the same formula? is there anything in Vibrancy that may break out sensitive skin? Any info/advice would be most helpful. Thanks.
I've been trying to find a replacement for my NARS Powder Foundation ever since it was discontinued and still haven't managed to find one that I love as much. Anyone have any recommendations or found one that is pretty similar? Thanks!
Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I purchased a Tom Ford lipstick and a YSL lipstick. I did return them due to them both being impulse purchases. I want a good lipstick for my wedding in June. I have the gloss "Blushing Bride" (because of the name and color), but I want a lipstick for under it. I have fair skin, and I plan on having a little color before the big day. I'm not into the bold lip colors. If I wear lipstick, it's Lancome's Color Design Sensational Effects Lipcolor in "Love It". What would you recommend to go with "Blushing Bride"? Thanks!!
I don't know how many of you are familiar with It Cosmetics, but I've tried some of their makeup items and really like their line. I was wondering do you think they will ever be carried in Sephora? They are midtier high end like Tarte or Urban Decay as far as I know (They are in the same price range) and I thought the stuff was really good quality. The brand is carried at Ulta and then they have their own website as well. I kind of do a mix of shopping at both Ulta and Sephora, but mostly Sephora. It would just be kind of nice if Sephora started carrying this brand. Anyone know how Sephora picks who they carry, etc? I don't think It Cosmetics is exclusive to Ulta, because it doesn't say that and if something is exclusive it's almost always known.
Hello everyone! So I am looking for a couple different options for everyday lipsticks, but the problem is I have never worn lipstick just because. The only time I wear lipstick is when I am going out and it is always a deep red. I have light skin with pink or neutral undertones, not yellow though. I lean more towards having my hair dark, naturally curly, with light brown eyes. My go to makeup trend is dark black winged eyeliner only on my top lid and light contouring. I also work at a hotel so my makeup cannot be super crazy! Help me, I want to get on the fleek lipstick train!
So, I was discussing how Sephora used to carry Paul & Joe a long, long time ago....I was looking for it, which led me on an excavation of my "no longer usable-but can't bear to part with it" makeup. Squirreled away I found my Tony & Tina (miss this company!), Tokidoki x Sephora, Too Faced circa 2000, Vincent Longo, Urban Decay circa 2000, MAC (anyone remember the mermaid-y Lure collection?), and so much more. Grabbed a few for a mini pic for some throwback fun. Even have some of what I think were the very first Too Faced shadows and the boxes! OH MY! The shade Trixie (the one with the face) was my first and I went through like 3 of them! As you can tell, even then I was big on buying back-ups. The paper sticker seal is still intact on the TF box of chocolates lipstick. It has to be at least 10+ years old and looks perfect! Show me what you've got!!
Hey everyone! I'm getting my makeup done at Sephora next week for my prom, but I'm not sure how I should do it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be so thankful. Picture of dress attached. I have light brown hair and light to medium skin.
According to a post on trendmood, Kylie Jenner's site "glitched" and some customer's information was taken. If you've ordered from her, you may want to check your account. I find this incredibly disappointing, and I won't be ordering from her anymore. My account is fine right now, but others have posted on Instagram saying large purchases were made on their cards.
