Have you guys seen these?! There are tons of shades and finishes to choose from, and you can build your own palette! I can't wait to try these; I wonder if Sephora will carry all of the shades? There are so many and I'd really like to go in and test a good chunk of them. =1622745
I'm planning to make a trip to sephora tomorrow. My concealer creases but I heard there are good powders to set under the eyes after concealer. Does anyone know any good ones?
Once I get the box back I'll pick out some items and donate the remaining items to 'The River' (a local organization that takes and redistributes new and used makeup/beauty items to women in need). I've given beauty products to this organization before and they're really good.   * Please make sure every item is in a plastic ziplock bag to prevent spills.   Donts’s ■ DON'T keep the box for more than two days. Keep it moving! If you are traveling or a special circumstance comes up, we can work to rearrange things. (ALSO YOU MUST INCLUDE A TRACKING NUMBER it makes it more fun anticipating your turn) ■ DON'T put unsanitary items of any sort into the TSB. We want to have fun and get gorgeous, not sickly ■ DON'T put any drugstore items into the TSB. ■ No reserve items in the box for others, and don’t ask to have any items reserved for you. This is unfair to others participating. ■ DON'T swatch items from the box. This is a hygienic precaution that we must take, as a lot of people will be handling these items. ■ DON'T take more than what you put in. Please trade at or above each item’s retail value.   Do’s ♥ Please contribute high-end beauty products only. No drugstore items. I was recently gifted a $25 gift card, which I am very excited to use, but I have no idea what to get. I figured I would need a little more cash to cover the cost of what I may want, so I decided to budget myself at $40 so I wouldn't have to spend too much money. As excited as I am to go shopping, I have no idea what to get. I was thinking I would try Josie Maran's makeup because I have been loving their skincare, but then I started looking into other brands and their products so I am no longer sure what I want to get. So I was wondering what makeup products you guys would recommend that are under $40. I am pretty much open to any type of makeup because I always love trying new items and new brands.
I recently bought the HOURGLASS Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil, because of the great reviews. I was going through a Brow Wiz way too quickly. When I found out the Hourglass pencil is 0.014oz, for $32 ($37CAD), compared to 0.003oz $21($27) for the Brow Wiz, I was sold. If you compare the 2, the brow wiz is so much more expensive! You would pay $98 ($126 CAD) for the same amount of product! I even compared it with drugstore products and it's still a better value.   So, my question is, do you have any other go-to products that you think have such a great value?
I own the anniversary set of the brushes for Sonia Kashuk and I love them. However I hardly ever shop at Target and do not buy makeup from there, but I have been curious about these brands makeup wise when I do go in. So what do you guys think of them? Is there something specific I should try out? The Pixi liner's sound really nice.
I'd like to rebuild my makeup bag, and recently came into some extra income. What products do you recommend to use in a daily routine?
Has anyone seen the Tom Ford 2014 fall collection? I saw it on Temptalia. I love neutrals so I'm def eyeing the palette. It says available August but I'm not sure exact dates. 88288?skuId=1603299&om_mmc=ret-us%2Bnews1%2B201408 ...
Hi beauties, I'm thinking of giving foundation primer a try. Currently I am using Perricone No Foundation Foundation Serum and I adore how it looks and feels - it just doesn't seem to stay on all day, thus bringing me to my two questions:  will a primer help the foundation stay on longer and will using a primer interfere with the anti aging and skin benefits of the foundation serum?     Oh and I was thinking of beginning my primer experience with Laura Mercier because I have a deluxe sample size. Thoughts?
Okay I KNOW this is months early BUT I want to start making my wish list early this year for all the stores that usually have good deals around the holidays. I know Sephora does the VIB 20% off... But that is all that's coming to my mind right now... Does anyone know or remember where all had good beauty deals last year that will/maybe have deals this year?
I'm looking for a full coverage foundation i have tons of dark freckles i need a foundation to hide them any suggestions?
I have been haunting the HK section, hoping a few leftovers may turn up (Other than the two that are always there). Look what I found! Already signed up to be notified.   Looking forward to seeing this collection, and I hope they have a launch party for Rouge!
I bought it yesterday and not sure I like it on my skin..  I bought the color light boost and it's yellow but idk.. I'm thinking of getting my money back. I used it to brighten up my eyes but it looks a bit ashy. I normally use mac prolong wear concealer in nw25 to cover dark circles, and  then I use maybelline fit me concealer in sand to brighten it up. I feel like this is a better method. I wanted to try something different so I bought the mac brightener but I'm not too crazy about it.
Can anyone tell me which brands and products to use to contour and highlight? I want to start doing it but I don't know which ones to buy
I was reading the newspaper last week when I saw the title How I Stopped the MAC Attack in the Everyday Cheapskate column by Mary Hunt. Ms. Hunt decided to part company with MAC and find drugstore substitutions that were not only cheaper but also of an equal or better quality than her MAC products.   I will put her list down below and her comments (MH) about the product.   Hope this is helpful!   MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (C3) = Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup 250 (Medium Beige) MH: Full coverage, lightweight and just plain amazing   MAC Studio Fix Pressed Powder (C3) = Physicians Formula Magic Mosaic Pressed Powder MH: Light, glides on and doesn't get clumpy   MAC Pre + Prime Skin Primer = Monistat Chafing Gel MH: Yes it sounds crazy but it's outstanding and outperforms any primer she knows.   MAC Eyeliner Pencil = Prestige Waterproof Eyeliner MH: Smooth, glides on better and waterproof   MAC Studio Sculpt Lash Mascara = L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara   MAC Lipstick (Sequin) = L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche matte finish in 560 Saucy Mauve
Currently i am using rimmel london- stay matte primer. I am wondering if other people have suggestions for a good primer. Also opinions on setting spray/good setting sprays? What is better a setting spray or a high definition powder?
I noticed that Sephora listed a Tony Moly lip balm. Does that mean that Sephora is going to carry the Tony Moly line? If so that would be really exciting. ut%20brand_logo
I just hit VIB last week, and I got my 10% off card in store the other day. So, I figured to avoid "wasting" it, I'm gonna give myself an early birthday present and spend about 200-250 and use my coupon. I ran through a lot of my top priorities on my Loves list when the 2x/3x/4x points thing was going on, so now I don't know what I need!    I was thinking about maybe splurging on POREfessional, since I currently use something similar from L'Oreal, but after the first few uses the product started coming out with puddles of oil underneath, and I have really oily skin as-is, and I noticed POREfessional was oil free, but otherwise practically the same... Or any other good oil controlling primers? I just love how smooth the pore products make my skin, even though I don't think I have any major pore issues.    I also was trying to find an opaque, creamy orange colored lipstick. I love the Kat Von D A-Go-Go color, but I'm sometimes really shy about using super-bright lipsticks, and I don't want it to not get any use if I buy it. So I was wondering if maybe there was something a bit more muted, but still a pretty orange I could check out?   Another lipstick color I was looking for was a good red. I have fair to light skin with soft pink undertones (Once I get all my foundation on, at least). I was hoping to find a slightly dark shade of red, maybe a glossy one, since most of my lip purchases lately have been matte stuff.    I'd like a good waterline eyeliner recommendation too. I've never had much luck with keeping anything on the waterline.   I've been looking at the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brushes. They're really cute and seem to be great quality, but I'm scared to make the jump from my ELF brushes. Should I?    I've been looking for a good lengthening mascara too, and I was considering Dior It-Lash and KVD Immortal.   Finally, a pallet. The only big ones I own are Moonshadow In the Tropics and Chocolate Bar. The Naked I has my eye more than the other two, but I feel like I also have a ton of great neutral shades already in Chocolate Bar. Maybe if there's any pallets with some well-pigmented pastel colors? Baby blue, light pink shades, mint green, soft greys...   I'm open to any other stuff too. If you love it enough to rave about it, I'm sure it's worth checking out!     I'm also interested in skin care, especially oil control. I just have no idea where to even begin.   Thanks!
I need emergency help with makeup  for my senior (AHH!) pictures! I have no idea what to do for makeup, so any tips would be awesome!   I already know that I am going to use EL Double Wear foundation, but thats about all I have decided! Product recommendations (I have super light skin, foundation shade 1N1, medium brown hair, and blue/grey eyes!) for eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc would be awesome. Also any application tips would be helpful!   thank you all so much in advanced!
I recently found a great coupon for 8% off SEPHORA through Ebates which you can use an unlimited amount of times for AUGUST 2014.  From my research, I learned that SEPHORA hired Ebates to stimulate sales during the recession by offering this coupon.  The way this works is that SEPHORA pays Ebates a commission every time you use them to buy something.  In return, SEPHORA pays you part of that commission (which is how you get the 8% off).  This stimulates business and everyone makes out!!!
I recently bought a set that includes a Josie Maran argan oil, cleansing oil, and argan oil moisturizer. The argan oil and moisturizer exceeded my expectations and I am really loving those two products, but I have not been able to get the cleansing oil to work. I used to use a cleanser from Neutrogena because it easily removed all of my makeup; I just used my ring fingers to very gently graze over my skin with this product and it would easily remove everything. But it really irritated my skin. With the Josie Maran one I have to really tug and stretch my skin to make it remove my makeup, and even when I do this it still only removes about 40% of my face makeup (and all I wear is face powder, bronzer, and blush), but it really agrees with my skin. Does anyone have any tips on how to make this remover a bit more effective? I really love how it agrees with my skin so well so I don't want to waste it.
Hi dolls, I'm obsessed with the what are you wearing thread on BT , but I find it hard to post a full faced selfie all the time! I noticed a lot of people are lip product junkies like myself on here and thought it would be a good thread to start. I also think it might make people more comfortable with posting a picture of their lips instead of their whole face (I know I don't want to see mines up close and personal all the time). I think a brows of the day , eyes of the day , etc. would be great too for people who aren't as comfortable posting a selfie. You can always post a selfie in this thread though (: Here's whats one my lips today!  1. Bite Beauty Rhubarb lip pencil 2. TF Perfect Lips Lip Liner in perfect spice
mac vs nars
I use makeup forever hd foundation in n123 and I use nars sheer glow in Stromboli.. I want to try out mac foundations, but I'm not sure what shade I am. Can anyone give me some color choices for mac so I can check them out in person.
I think this is my new addiction brand I couldn't help myself and just placed an order   Is anyone buying it too?
What makeup products can be shipped to the UK ??
So today while cleaning out my purses it struck me that I haven't used my Urban Decay Ultra lip glosses in a while, which were my favorite lip glosses. I have two and found it odd I didn't come across one of them. After checking everywhere I could think it could be I'm bummed that I can't find them Anyone else lose a favorite?
I have several foundations but I really haven't found one that really clicks with me, except for the new Laura Mercier flawless foundation, I still haven't finished my sample but when I do I'm going to buy the actual size. Thing is, that one has a matte finish on me, which I like but I want something glowy. I was thinking of buying YSL Touche Eclat but I dont know if that one is a good fit for me since I do get oilly around the nose and it's more noticeable with the Texas heat.    To get to the point of this title, would you recommend nars sheer glow? It looks like it'd have a satin finish but it still gives you the type of radiance that I'm trying to find... thoughts, suggestions, anything is welcome, thanks!    Oh, just to mention what foundations i have: Big Easy Tarte 12 hr  clay foundation LM flawless sample elf flawless foundation MUFE velvet mat Illamasqua skin base   I don't like powder foundations, I had bought a TF powder foundation.. just not my thing. :\
