Have makeup money to spend at sephora and I'm up for some suggestions . What are your makeup must haves? 😊 or what is on your wish list?
For reference, I use Bare Minerals powder foundation in medium tan. I know a lot of people like the banana shade in the original Anastasia contouring palette but I'm not sure if that palette would be too light for my skin tone.
I have Fair-Tannish skin, blue eyes, and blonde eyebrows, eyelashes, and hair. I really want a everyday, natural look. Right now, I wear black eyeliner on the edges of my waterline and black mascara, but it feels a bit intense. Any tips?

The Marc Jacobs mini kiss kiss bang bang lipstick was listed under the rewards boutique last month, but it's no longer there. Does anyone have the link for it?  Thanks!

Hey Beauties- We have ALOT of threads around here for Tom Ford products. I figured I'd start one thread where we can update each other on items as they come out or we see them available.    For all my UK'ers, or people willing to pay for shipping from the UK, Harrods has Softcore and Nude Dip from the Fall collection available right now. Happy Shopping!
Hi guys!   So lately I've been looking at my stash and trying to not feel overwhelmed by all that I have. I think a lot of us on BT fall into the hype of things and go a little crazy at times. Sometimes it works out in our favor however and something we purchase is JUST what we needed or wanted and you're like YESSS glad I picked that up! So...share your enabled/hyped up/impulse beauty buys that worked out well!   Some of mine: - Beautyblender + BB solid cleanser (OK, so this was a gift but I am really, really happy to have discovered these. I have tried other sponges but I feel that they don't hold up as well. The cleanser is a miracle for getting cream products out and making your brushes/sponge almost brand new) - Guerlain Perles d'Etoile, Holiday 2014 (The regular Meteorites in Dore don't do much for me, but these lightly-bronzey pearls are  everything on my skintone. Perfect for some glowy warmth. Well worth the investment as they will also last forever) - KVD Ladybird palette, Painted Love lipstick in Lolita, Foiled Love Lipstick in FTW  (often, sale items can be a miss but these discontinued items at a great price were so worth it. Perfect colors, great pigmentation. I am glad I jumped on the bandwagon with y'all when they all went on sale!) - Tom Ford Nude Dip palette (Yes, you should get it once it's back! The shimmery taupey/silvery shades are beautiful and not overdone) - Becca Rose Gold pressed - Perfect color, especially for deeper/tanned skintones - Ole Henriksen Truth Serum - Enabled by BT, I finally got a sample using points. Used regularly, it really lightens dark spots and smooths out my skin (products go on better!). It seems to last awhile too. - KGD Spa Water - While it isn't the best for heavy duty eye makeup, it is really great to use for removing lipstick, and for taking off any remaining makeup. When I use it to take off lipstick, my lips feel soft and moisturized in the morning. It just feels good on my skin, and never stings my eyes. I am still testing out the Bioderma cleansing water to see how it compares
Out of all things make-up, lipsticks have got to be my all-time favourite product. I have an embarrassing collection of 50+ lipsticks. Because of my passion for lipsticks, I'm wondering what everyone's HG, stranded on a desert island lipstick would be? As of right now, mine is Chanel's Coco Shine in 54 Boy because it's an easy go-to and also hydrating!   Other favourites include Nars Audacious in Anita, Marc Jacobs' Le Marc Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and MAC's Brave

So, I did the lipstick challenge with Greenchilli and all the ladies in that thread and I thought it might be fun to do the same thing with blush.  I don't have enough blush to get through a month, but I figure I'll go until I have gone through all my blush.   So the challenge is: wear a different blush every day until you run out of blushes or reach 30 days.     Anyone want to join me?   Day 1, 12/28/14, Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape Day 2, 12/29/14, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface Day 3, 12/30/14, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty Day 4, 12/31/14, Nars Blush in Torrid  Day 5, 1/1/15 (omg first time i've written the new year), Illamasqua in Tremble Day 6, 1/2/15, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay in Irreplaceable Day 7, 1/3/15, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay in Bashful Day 8, 1/4/15, Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Glow Day 9, 1/5/15, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay in Whimsy Day 10, 1/6/15, Tarte 12-hr Amazonian Clay in Embraced Day 11, 1/7/15, Tarte 12-hr in Blissful Day       1/8/15, no blush for reasons of extreme lateness in the AM  Day 12, 1/9/15, Tarte 12-hr in Fearless Day 13, 1/10/15, Tarte 12-hr in Breathless Day 14, 1/11/15, Tarte 12-hr in Exposed Day 15, 1/12/15, Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Red Cheeks Day 16, 1/13/15, Tarte cheek stain in Blushing Bride Day 17, 1/14/15, Meteorites Perles de Blush Day 18, 1/15/15, Hourglass Blush in Luminous Flush Day 19, 1/16/15, Stila Convertible in Lilium Day 20, 1/17/15, Too Faced Natural Face Palette - powder blush (no name that I can find) Day 21, 1/18/15, Too Faced Natural Face Palette - cream blush Day 22, 1/19/15, tarte cheek stain in dreamer Day 23, 1/20/15 Smashbox Master Class III in Rosy Day 24, 1/21/15 Smashbox Master Class III in Flush Day 25, 1/22/15 Dior Rosy Glow Day 26, 1/23/15 Smashbox Master Class III in Carnation
On your website the Thomas Roth CCcream is on sale for $19 but when I add it to my cart it shows up for $48 .How do I get the sale price?
I've been looking into my makeup stash and realized, wow I do own A LOT of foundations/BB cream, here's my list (and my impressions): CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua (beautiful finish...but tends to be too dewy for my combo skin) CHANEL Perfection Lumière Velvet (LOVE LOVE!) MUFE HD (my HG foundation) MUFE Pro Finish (my HG powder foundation) MUFE Mat Velvet + (I love this one, but too matte to be used in winter) IT COSMETICS CC Cream (not my favorite but I like it) TARTE 12-hour full coverage foundation (feels heavy and "mask-like" on the skin) TARTE BB Tinted Treatment (beautiful finish/cover but I think it breaks me out) TARTE Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation (Just doesn't do it for me...) ILLAMASQUA Skin Base (what was I thinking?) LIOLE Beyond the Solution (nice coverage but tends to feel heavy on skin) LIOLE Triple the Solution (another cake face alert) SKIN 79 Hot Pink Super BB Balm (nice coverage but tends to lean on gray side) BAREMINERALS Original (Simple and natural, I love this one when my skin behaves !) and...countless drugstore foundations that never seem to work well with my combination/sensitive skin !   And what about your collection ? Are you a foundation hoarder like myself ? I would like to know

I’ve been wondering how to store my brushes in a convenience way where I could still access them daily and keep them organized and sanitized.   I currently have them in a revolving organizer with separated compartments that sits on top of my vanity. I try to keep them separated by clean/dirty side and then by eye and face but since I’m usually rushing when doing my makeup, I just end up putting things back in the wrong places.   I need ideas because I’m tired of rambling and spinning my organizer a dozen times to find the brush I need. I have been thinking about getting a brush roll or a stand to keep clean brushes then when used/dirty put then elsewhere like a basket for washing.   What do you suggest? Tell me what you do.    How do you store/keep your everyday brushes?   Do you display them in a jar with beads or a jar with a lid?   Or keep them hidden in a drawer that you pull out?   How about keeping them in a brush roll or binder?
A lot of the Surratt stuff has sold out or is close to selling out.  It's a brand I just don't know and haven't tried.  Anyone have experience with the brand?  Love?  If so, what items and shades do you recommend? Watching it sell out…I'm now wondering what I'm missing!
Hi guys,   I am using NARS TM colour Finland (a little too white for me) and wanna switch to YSL Fusion Ink, what colour should I choose? B20 or B30?   Thank you!

Hi BTers, do we have a thread for this? I'm on the Tom Ford Updates thread and I thought some of us might also want to share on Chanel. Eagerly awaiting the Chanel Mediterranee Summer 2015 and of course what's new for Les Beiges this summer. Share some pics, news, what are your 'must haves' for Chanel releases coming up? I'm really interested in this nail color and seriously debating about the bronzer. I'm trying to decide what road to go down for bronzer, the new Estee Lauder illuminating gelee, or the new Guerlain Terracotta powders, or this beauty... As far as the date, I've been talking to my Chanel SA and the collection seems to be coming out later than they thought. I think I saw somewhere it would be May. Share some Chanel here The cheek stick…and the neutral nails :-)
I am reordering smashbox halo hydrating perfecting powder. Mine says it is light, but I am not seeing a color choice that matches "light"
I have light-medium warm-neutral skin. They don't carry it in stores, so I can't test it out and I don't know if it's worth ordering as I hate returning things. The colour just seems way too light and cool toned for me (i have warm-neutral undertones). Also curious about the Boscia BB cream, if anyone has an opinion on that.    Some comparison shades for reference:   Estee Lauder Double Wear in 2N1 or 2W1  Smashbox BB Cream in Light Nars All Day Luminous in Santa Fe Color IQ 2Y06/4Y06   Also never tried a MAC foundation, but I like to think that I am NC 25-30 (judging by Youtubers who wear the same foundation as me).
hi everyone. i wanted to purchase the armani luminous silk foundation but not sure on the color to purchase in nars im in the shade punjab, i was thinking of getting shade 5. any recommendations will be nice!
Hi, so...I'm looking for a bronzer for soft look (not for hardcore contouring). I really like the shade of Benefit Hoola, but I just can't accept the packaging. I just can't. Do you guys know any product very very similar to Benefit Hoola yet doesn't come in that box package? I will appreciate your help! You can just give me some names and I will do my part of research!

Oh man, I just received this in my email, and this is the first I'm seeing of it! I'm loving this collection! I'm a total NARS addict, and LE NARS is even more addicting! I already want the 'Starscape' blush, the eye duo, and the lilac multiple. Hopefully Sephora will get some of this for the summer as well... Anyone else as excited as I am?!
I've read a number of reviews at different beauty sites and I'm trying to decide between the dolce & gabbana beauty glow (Natural 10) or armani sun fabric (100 or 400) bronzers. going into a store is a difficult with my schedule, so that's why I do a lot of online shop and try.    i want a natural look, more matte than shimmer. I have fair skin, medium auburn hair, with a lot of pink and red in my face. I've read that the Armani tends to fade out over a few hours while the Dolce & Gabbana can be orange?  Thanks for your input!
Hi everyone! As long as I've been doing/obsessed with make-up, which is 3 1/2 years, I have never been able to pinpoint if I have a warm or cool undertone. When doing all of the classic tests (skin tone, vein color, hair/eye color, silver/gold jewelry), I seem to be just about even. I'm fair with freckles, my veins are blue, I am strawberry blonde, I have green eyes, and both silver and gold jewelry look wonderful on me. I've asked multiple Sephora employees about this, and each time I was given a different answer. It makes buying lipsticks difficult, since most are made for certain skin tones. Really didn't know why I didn't ask this on BeautyTalk sooner, but oh well, I'm asking it now!
Does anyone know if Sephora has considered selling a monthly subscription box with trial sized makeup, hair and skincare products (similar to Birchbox, Ipsy, etc..)?     Forgive me if there is already a discussion thread on this topic.
I want to buy the tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush, but I don't know which shade to buy... I'm blonde and blue-eyed and my skin is naturally red and flushes easily, so I'm looking for a more subtle tone (but I still want to look bright and happy). Thanks!
Hey guys!  Next month I'm going to be moving from Hawaii to Georgia.  I have most of the details worked out (shipping my car, flying my kitties, etc) but I'm not sure what to do with my makeup.  I have no idea how long it will take household goods to arrive in Georgia, and I really am scared to pack all of my goodies away.  I'm thinking about shipping most of my makeup to my husband (he leaves two weeks before me) but I can't do that with perfume (I've checked with USPS, UPS, and Fedex).  I'm not even sure if I have the option of packing it with household goods because it's flammable.  I feel like my only option is to take it in checked baggage...but it's so much perfume!  Anyone else ever done a huge move with makeup and perfume?  I'm already starting to go through my makeup and getting rid of anything I don't want, but most of it I do want to keep.  I'm also trying to use up as much as I can of my foundations, hair products, etc.  Any input would be appreciated.  Also, any moving tips?  I'm definitely trying to plan in advance to decrease the stress related, but this is my first big move as an adult.  Thanks!
I attended today's Rouge event in VA and for the life of me could not locate Stila.  I asked a SA and was told Sephora would no longer be carrying the brand, with the exception of their black eyeliner (I'm not sure which formula).  My friend in CA also noticed Stila was missing.  Is Sephora phasing the brand out on a whole or was this just select stores?  Should we be looking forward to some great Stila sales? I'm a bit disappointed, since I've recently started exploring the brand again! The Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette is amazing!   EDIT- We have our answer! Stila has been pulled from some stores, while others are still carrying it and the brand will still be available online
Her full line will be offered exclusively at Holt's, it'll be out in June (Just in time for her new collection)! Who else is excited about this? Since I'm between US/Canada I don't have any counters near me. Maybe now I'll get a chance to finally swatch a few more things from her!
