Is it sad that I check every morning and see if it's been released yet? When I get home too? Is it even sadder that I used a $100 bonus card from work to buy an egift card for myself in anticipation of this collection? I was OBSESSED with this movie as a little girl!!! When I was very little I remember my Mom being gone on a trip to Italy and my Dad knowing how much I loved this movie had the bright idea to buy me everything Little Mermaid in sight on a Walmart trip. LOL I have Cerebral Palsy and am in a wheelchair so I always wanted to be "part of their world." (like everyone else kind of thing) I so WISH that I had gotten the Cinderella Mirror when I could have as I a castle FREAK as I LOVE LOVE LOVE the castle at WDW. I am still devastated that I missed out on the mirror! Anyway, I will be snagging the Ariel mirror and palette, what about you?
Hey everyone! I just did something drastic to my hair! I went from a dark, rich red to a light blonde. I love it, but I'm not sure if the makeup routine I have will still work out with this new shade. It seems to change my face. If anyone has any suggestions for how to look my best or adapt the colors I use, I'd love to hear it. For reference: green eyes, porcelain skin running towards cool tones, and not at all afraid of bright, bold colors!
I'm fourteen and since I don't really have that much money, I'm trying to find good products that are more in my budget. My max for each product would be 30-40 depending on what it is. I consider myself sort of a medium beige by the way. Here's a list of the types of products I would like... •Bronzer •Black Eyeliner (pencil please) • Mascara •Blush •Eye Shadow Palettes •Luminizer I would like a nice summery glow . I was wondering if foundation and primer should be used? My skin is pretty normal & just a couple pimples pop up on occasion. Do I even need it? What brushes should I even use? (quality drugstore brushes and what product to use them for please) I have no idea what they do or what to use on them! I know they can cost an arm and a leg, but I'm not trying to make it look professional but I don't want to look like a hot mess. Sorry so many questions! I really have no idea where to start and I'm hoping someone could help.
I need a full faced look that will last the hot weather and be waterproof. I have used mufe waterproof concealer but would like a good bronzer, blush, foundation, etc. Any price range as long as it will stay on in the water. Thanks
Just beginning this year I've noticed that I have started to purchase more high end products... Sephora. I somewhat stopped buying from the drugstore. I think mainly due to my sensitive skin and how bad it reacted it a lot of drugstore products (my personal experience). Though, there are products that I only go to the drugstore to buy. Like mascara, eyeliner, and revlon lipsticks. Other then that, I find myself mainly buying higher end makeup for everything else. I guess it's just personal preference. What's your opinion on drugstore and high end? Do you prefer one over the other?
Hi I'm looking for a foundation, tinted moisturizer ,bb cream etc. I use loreal true match in w2 (light skin warm undertones) and I use boi-ing 01 for my dark under eye circles. I'm looking for light to medium coverage. Just looking for some ideas. Thanks
I promised my daughter that when she starts middle school, she would be allowed to wear appropriate makeup. I figure now is a good time to get her started so that she has the summer to get the hang of it. Any suggestions for how to go about making this a special occasion and what products to start her with?
Hi! I'm a 20 year old college junior, and I'm constantly mistaken for the middle school students I coach! I have a round face, round eyes, and genuinely round features, and I'm looking at stepping up my makeup game because I plan on going to law school Spring 2015. One thing I know would help is eyebrow care. I have fair eyebrows, but darker brown hair, and have never groomed them before. I'm terrified of overplucking. I'm a makeup rookie, and I just feel so overwhelmed by the idea of trying to change my routine to look more professional/older, but not cakey? Here's my usual makeup routine (mascara, eyeshadow, and BB cream), but another problem is that I wear glasses. Help?
Okay, so I am stumped on what eyeshadow I should wear out tonight. I am wearing a black shirt, gold skirt with sequins, and maybe nude heels or black heels. I have dark hair, and brown/sometimes green eyes. Kind of tan thanks to self - tanner I have the Naked 1, 2, and basics palette. I have the NARS American Dream Palette( Galapagos, Tzarine, Bellisima, Silk Road, Bali, Alhambra) and MAC tempting, satin taupe, phloof, smoke and diamonds, wedge. The LORAC pro palette. If you have any suggestions let me know, preferably something I could wear with pinky/coral lips. And sorry for the long post
My MAC Shade in NC12-NC20 warm undertone Nars is my closest is Deuville MUFE F&B No.20 MUFE HD 117 I would like to try this Foundation but I am currently residing outside U.S., hope someone can give an advice. Thanks so much in advance. I am worried that this foundation can go darker once set or orangey, is that true?
Is there a beauty look you LOVE on others but ABSOLUTELY HATE on yourself? Mine would be blue shadows or liner- I have seen some girls do the most beautiful things with this color, but on me it just makes my eyes look weird.
I have seen this post before so I thought it would be fun to do another one. Because what someone may love you may hate. Here is my list: -MUFE Mat Velvet Plus, I bought this because I get oily in summer but I feel like it makes a greaseball -Benefit Boing- Just didn't get the hype -NARS Deep Throat- Expensive for the size, and color looks pretty in pan but have to apply a lot because it is sheer -Ole Henriksen Truth Serum- Made me break out more
June is finally here! Summer is now upon us, and I wanted to see what favorite things we discovered this spring! Would love to hear about your new favorite products, a brand you've newly discovered, or something in your stash you re-discovered this spring! My new obsession is cream blushes- I've gone cuckoo for cocoa puffs since trying the 100 pt perk of the Stila cream blushes! Too Faced has been around for a long time, but for some reason before a month or so ago I never really looked at their products. Now there are a ton I want to try! I love the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer I got in the Sun Kit, and have been looking at the Endless Summer Bronzer. Also curious to try their La Creme lipsticks, Sweethearts Blush, and Full Bloom Cream Blush (see above... cream blush obsession.)

I'm completely new to makeup and I need some help. I was wondering if I visit a Sephora store, will the people there help me with where to get started and like a mini tutorial on how to use them? I'm looking to buy products too

I just got the Caboodles Neat Freak Grande Train Case in the mail yesterday and had no trouble filling it right up! Only thing I use everyday that is missing are my eyeshadow brushes, as they are usually drying on a shelf during the day. I'm not going to list everything I have in this thing, but feel free to ask! Outside Opened Opened all the way EYELINERS <3 SHADOWS and such MASCARA, PRIMERS, etc. LIPS and some shadows FACE BLUSH, BRONZER, etc. in the main part, I also have a whole bunch of Everyday Minerals stuff in the main part that I never ever use...

So I have exactly 3 weeks until my brother's wedding and I'm struggling with figuring out my makeup. I am doing my own and I want to look like me but wedding appropriate. I use BB creams every day, I have a load of mostly shimmery eye-shadows, I wear Kat Von D's black tattoo liner every day. My dress is black, my skin is pale (tho I'm trying to tan it up just a hint so I don't look like a ghost in it). My hair will be a purple based red for the wedding and the colors are black, white, yellow/gold with accents of purple (hence the hair being okay to be purple). I've heard so much mixture on what your makeup should be, matte vs dewy, natural vs dramatic, toned down vs statement, matte vs shimmery... Should I ditch the BB creams for the day and switch to a foundation? Should I go for a bright or neutral lip? Should my eye makeup be shimmery or matte? Should I ditch the black liner and try something I am unfamiliar with? Should my face be matte or dewy (my skin can tend to get a bit oily thru the day too)? Lots of questions, but while I've got my daily look and my going out looks firmly in hand, I want to look awesome for this wedding and need advice and suggestions! Also, I wear contacts and have no clue what mascara will last me thru the day and not irritate my eyes. HELP!
