Yay For BB Cream :D

As some of you noticed, I have been posting a lot in the forums for a foundation.  My skin is sensitive and tend to get rather irritated by everything, especially foundations.  I have tried so many that claim to work with my skin, only to break out and feel itchy.  Well, I think I might have found one.

Dr. Jarts BB Cream.

So far so good.  There is no irritation at all.  Plus my skin looks smooth and beautiful and my redness is covered up well.  Still, we will see how it holds up with my face but again, so far so good.  No itching or scratching makes me extremely happy!

I'm also in love with BB cream :3

I have combination skin with dry patches and I don't find the formula to be too drying or too oily. I wanted to recommend a couple of other brands that you might like, as well!

First is MISSHA, which is not sold through sephora unfortunately but can be found through the manufacturer's website. It has quite a range of colors for BB creams (I'm a NW15 and I wear #13 Milky Beige), and the feel of it is so wonderful! It has a mild scent, something like baby powder, but I don't find the fragrance is irritating to my skin at all. I typically wear Smashbox Studio Skin and honestly, I like MISSHA better.

Another one you might try by a western company is Illamasqua's Skin Base, which has a great range of tones and is modeled after BB creams. It's a silicone-based foundation, which is supposed to make it mimic the texture of skin.

I love BB creams! I've been using my Boscia one at work here lately and it keeps my skin looking and feeling so good.

I went to Sephora yesterday to pick up some of my essentials and I got a sample of the Dr Jarts BB cream in the blue tube ... I'm really excited to try it out! :smileyhappy: I'm glad you are enjoying your BB cream!

I believe mine is the gold tube if I remember correctly.  I do love it though.  The color blends in lovely for my skintone plus, it has great staying power.

Isn't it awesome when you find something that works well?  I tried a few of these a while back.  Most of them were not for me but I did like the same Dr. Jart product.  It worked well with fair skin and had a nice texture.  If there were more of the asian brands around to sample, I probably would have tried them.  I like the idea of the ones that help against dark spots (aka whitening in those countries).

Since the tinted moisturizer I bought discontinued (Cosmedicine Honest Face), I might look into it again come summer or for traveling.

That is wonderful your found a good BB Cream.  I am going to try Garnier's new BB Cream when I go to Walmart next.  I mostly shop lower end than Sephora.

I was so excited to see Garneir's BB cream in the store that I couldn't wait to try it on! I was disappointed to see that it only came in a couple of colors and unfortunately the light/medium shade was too dark/orange for me :smileysad: I hope it works better on you!

I hope it works out for you!  I am just extremely happy to find something that evens out my skin without causing me to be irritated or break out.  It was so hard to find.
