Honestly, when it comes to makeup...it doesn't matter what age you are or what school you go to. It's what you like and what makes you comfortable. Some girls in high school wear absolutely no makeup, and some girls look like they're entering a beauty pageant. It doesn't matter what you decide, as long as it's you and you can pull it off. One thing I do suggest is a good face primer, such as the smashbox primer. This will make the rest of your makeup go on smoothly and last longer. If you want to wear foundation, make sure it's the right color for your skin tone and that you blend it into your neck. You should always set your foundation with a powder. You can use a good high end powder from brands such as makeup forever, nars, or bare minerals but I also think that many drugstore powders work very well. Setting your foundation with a powder will keep it more matte and natural looking, it controls oil and it will help your makeup last longer. As for blush, this helps brighten up your face. A nice everyday high end natural-looking blush is nars orgasm. It's so pretty and has the perfect amount of shimmer and looks good in all seasons. You can also use a highlighter to make your face look quite glowy such as benefit's high beam or sun beam, depending on your skin tone. You apply highlighter right above where you apply blush, a little down the bridge of your nose and some on your cupid's bow (right above your lip). If you don't want to spend so much money, you can just use a shimmery eyeshadow for this and it still works well. As for eyeshadow, you should really invest in a good primer such as the urban decay primer potion. It really helps your eyeshadows not crease, smudge, and helps them stay all day. A great eyeshadow pallette I suggest is the urban decay naked pallette. It has so many colors that can look really natural, or even smokey or a golden look and you can wear the colors on a day to day basis. I like to wear liquid eyeliner on my upper lashline, but this is optional because it takes a lot of practice to make it look good. Many girls wear black eyeliner on their waterline and many girls can pull this off but sometimes it looks too harsh. I don't like to do this because I feel like it makes your eyes look more wide awake and open. Wearing a white eyeliner on the waterline is really pretty, surprisingly! You should also get an eyelash curler to use before you put on mascara. You can purchase really affordable ones at the drugstore, along with mascara. I like to wear fake eyelashes to school, but you can do whatever makes you more comfortable. As for lips, sometimes I like to just wear chapstick and sometimes I like lipstick and lip gloss. It's all a personal preference. You can go for more nude colors, light pink, or even a coral. When you're in school, you probably don't want to be reapplying your makeup all the time so you may want a setting spray. The Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray keeps your makeup on for a really long time! I hope that this helped you somehow and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

HI,

I would agree with the previous post. I would also add that keeping it simple is key.

If you are planning on using face makeup, I would recommend doing a sheer powder foundation or a tinted moisturizer. Too much coverage on a daily base while being outdoors can be a bit too much. However, if you are experiencing breakouts, I would suggest a little concealer.

In terms of eyeshadow, I would keep it fresh and natural. Mascara and a shadow or liner would be enough. I would stick to more natural tones to enhance your eye color.

{well it depends on the person and what year but perfecting your face so its flawless with foundation and coverup can be a start then maybe some blush so you dont look too plain and a bit natural...

i think its better to go with concealer then maybe use a stifling brush or go over it with liquid foundation (the concealed area) then go over your face with a powder foundation to set it. that way its a bit more natural.

then for lips you can do a lipgloss...i'd say no to lipstick unless you can perfect it and reapply it constantly. but a lipstain never hurt...its enough colour but doesnt look too caked on and a bit more natural.

for eyes do a liner...maybe winged? the liner part is really your choice. and its eaiest you can be dramatic one day natural another and colorfuul the next etc.

and mascara..if youre really up for it you can do fake lashes...but its just school a good mascara would work well...try pairing mascaras. something lengthening and volumizing...it makes your lashes look better.

eyeshadow...you can choose weather or not to do and eyeshadow but its highschool the liner and mascara is good enough. but if you do a shadow PRIME THE EYES!

ummmh thats all i can say...but remember to always use a foundation meant for your skin and use a primer so it lasts. and if its for school make sure you an touchup a bit or it lasts through all your classes (in cluding gym!) and if youre in a rush just enhance wht you have naturally. (with coverup for blemishes and maybe smudged liner to bring out the eyes

Hope this helps c:}
