I saw on the August 17 video on Really Ree that Lips & Boys are coming back as permanent?! At least the 25 that are coming back from last year. 

Will be interesting to see if this is true and what part is LE/permanent. Must say that I have a love/hate reaction to bringing back LE items as permanent.

Me too!  I like the idea of a permanenet set of mini lipsticks.  In fact, all lipsticks should be mini.

But the Lips and Boys were an LE collection and should stay that way.

I guess I'm crazy - I really like the larger lipsticks! But I'd like the option of having both - easier to travel with the l&b size!

Agreed, GC. I'd actually be much happier if cosmetics were smaller than their current standard sizing. I don't need huge containers of makeup! I like having a lot of options, but also finishing things.

Also! My counter received a replenishment of Moodlight. Pretty sure it will officially be moved to permanent.

I sure hope so!  I really want it but am trying to be good and not buy too much makeup esp since I have a big trip coming in December.

Alright, well then. After making some (non beauty) returns, I headed to my TF counter tonight to pick up Velvet Violet as a birthday gift, and it just conveniently happened that they had gotten all the new lipsticks in. Seeing them in person I only watched a few and ended up trying 2 (only allowing myself to buy 1 today).

Surprisngly not a fan of Lilac Nymph! I didn't try it on (just swatched), but it seemed almost cotton candy like. Showgirl IS gorgeous!

Ended up trying Casino and So Vain. Really liked both (both shimmery, and for those not familiar with Casino/Blake, it has some frost). Ended up taking home So Vain because it's LE and is more wearable for me. It's really pretty and paired nicely with one of the glosses - I think it was Love Bruise. It was like the gloss turned up the volume of the lip color. They work really well together. And ask Meganlisa posted - it has a really beautiful shimmer. Just to throw out an additional comparison - So Vain vs Pussycat:

Also got to smell both fragrances and picked up 2 samples of each. Lovelovelove Amber absolute! Apparently it is a retired fragrance that is being re-released and LE. 

I got a *peek* at the L&B list (literally) and Stavros is coming back! That's all I saw though lol

So Vain is LE? Oh no I was going to wait to pick that one up! 😞

Yes, it's LE! When I was debating between So Vain and Casino, that was one of the points the SA made. In addition to the fact that in our local market, the top selling shade is Casablanca, which is in the same neutral family. They had gotten about 60 in stock though.

Only Misbehaved and So Vain are LE - the rest will be around :).

This is a noob questions for sure - but are all of the smaller size TF lippies L&Bs?  And are they seasonal?  Saks has some in stock online but the colors don't look awesome so I'm guessing they are from the last round?

Also.....I blame all of you for this.

Current L&B's available online (I think Bloomies has the most selection left) are from last round. New L&B's will be available December 1st (at least in store. Don't know about online)

You're welcome - sorry wrote this right before bed. For now, L&B's are the only smaller sized lipsticks that I know of! Mini lipsticks apparently exist for sample purposes from really friendly SA's ;). Half of the L&B's will be repromotes from last year).

I just caved and ordered the illuminating duo. It's been a slippery slope....I purchased my first TF lipstick (Negligee) in mid-July. I have since ordered/now own Plum Lush, Pussycat, and Casablanca..... and I'm eyeing other lipstick shades. Needless to say, I'm eagerly anticipating the lips & boys collection. 

Does anyone know if Richard will be one of the L&B? I know it's the same as negligee but I want it because that's my significant other's name 🙂
