The Highlight Challenge

Not to generalize, but I think it's fair to say a lot of us on BeautyTalk have a slight obsession when it comes to highlighter. For me, my highlight is the finishing touch before running out the door. Some days I aim for a natural look and other days I want to look like a glistening unicorn and I know I'm not alone. Many of us have a lot of love for each of our highlighters so it's time to show them off! 

Now, onto the challenge: From March 13th- April 14th let's give our highlighters some love each day by sharing details in this thread. I encourage you to get creative and be experimental with your product and technique. There are many highlight formats (liquid, powder, balms, etc.) and you can play around with the intensity of your highlight as well. Share as much or as little as you'd like, including pictures, swatches, products, tools and your favorite tips.

lately ive been loving the drunk elephant  framboos, la la cream, Sunday Riley good genes and Boscia tsubaki oil! I'm SO dry right now so it's lots and lots of layers of moisture 🙂

I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out @unfungirl! I have dry skin too. Are you using a toner and essence? That seems to be helping me a lot!

I'm really liking the combo of the belif Witch Hazel toner and the May Coop Raw Sauce! I top it off with either the Dr Jart Water Drop or Ole Henricksen Sheer Transformation moisturizers. My skin has been happy with me for it 👍

thanks @trishavt! i was worried it wouldn't work for me since i'm neutral/olive, and cooler tones don't' always jive with my coloring. i was pleasantly surprised!

@unfungirl I agree with @trishavt this looks really great on your complexion. I couldn't decide if I wanted this glow kit because I had the KVD alchemist and people said they were similar,  but now I'm wishing I had bought it.

thank you, @troppi!! i have the alchemist too, and i think they are similar, but not so much i don't like having both. moonchild is a bit more glittery, and the shift on most colors is more subtle. i love them both!

I recently acquired Moonchild and I love it, too!   I think I will aim to wear something from that palette tomorrow - especially since so many of the names remind me of Lucky Charms - perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

Tarteist Pro Glow (Lit on cheeks and Stunner on nose which you can't see lol. I also contoured with this palette). I take these pics with my crappy phone light and this is the best angle to show you my highlight but perhaps not my foundation -_-

Also, what contour powder do you use?

@trishavt Thank you!! I actually used my Tarteist Pro Glow for contour today! I used the cream contour for a change and set it with the powder (both in the same palette). The highlights aren't necessarily the best quality but the contours sure work well!!
